“I am by no means a seolleongtang connoisseur but Hanbat is well-known for a reason! They have a very small menu but they are very good at what they serve. I opted for the brisket in the soup. The beef bone broth is very beefy and the brisket is very tender. The meat to soup ratio is higher than what I expected, probably also because it sinks to the bottom of the bowl. Their rice was perfectly chewy and fluffy, and kimchi was refreshing. Keep in mind that to-go containers are an extra $0.50 so bring your own if you anticipate you will have leftovers! The portion is not huge though.“

“Sooooo good!!! I had my reservations as I love Thai food and it’s hard to find Thai food as good as what you have in Thailand, but this place is it!! I don’t know where to start because everything was so good!! We had the pork jerky, prad ka prow with chicken & egg, phat see ew flat noodle, fried tofu, and the noodle soup- with egg noodle. “We were driving around shopping and got hungry, so we stopped in to Monta Factory. I was completely unfamiliar with the food, but the aromas were fantastic. We decided to play it safe and got the chicken sandwiches plus a couple of the cheese khinkali. While we were waiting for the food, several large orders went out catering style. So, although we were the only patrons dining in, it was clear the restaurant does a good catering business.

Our food arrived in a few minutes, and it all looked great. The chicken sandwich had a generous piece of baked chicken. There were pickled veggies, roasted peppers, a great garlic sauce, all in a perfectly toasted chibatta bun. All together, it amounted to a wonderful sandwich. It was delicious and filling. A great combination of flavors.

I had never had a khinkali before, so didn’t know what to expect. It was a very cheesy, lightly fried dumpling. Very good!

After having a sample of what they make, I want to go back and have a selection of the rest. I’m definitely coming back.“

We ordered the Sogogi Suyug plater (beef), and the Ujok Suyug plater (tendon) we also ordered the Galbi Tang soup and the Sukkur Sullung Tang soup. Both have beef but the soup base is different one is more fatty rich and the other one is more light and clear but both flavorful and different noodles. Rice comes with your meal along with Kim chi and other sides. The space is small and you may have to wait to be seated. We were lucky to avoid the lunch time crowd. Price was good for what we got.“

The meat was fall-apart tender and well-seasoned, without being overly rich.
But the highlight: adding the melted cheese on top. Watching the cheese stretch over the ribs was worth it alone—so aromatic and satisfying. At $55, this pot easily feeds three people. Great value.

13. Wang Galbi Tang (Premium Beef Rib Soup)
The broth was clear yet deeply flavorful, clearly slow-simmered for hours. The beef rib was so tender it fell off the bone with a gentle nudge of the chopsticks. Comforting and wholesome.

A milder, clean-tasting soup packed with thinly sliced beef brisket, cheek meat, knee cartilage, and glass noodles. The beef tongue was tender, and the cartilage had a nice chew. A dash of the provided black pepper and salt brightened the flavors perfectly.

We also tried the meat dumplings—thin skin filled with pork and chives, simple but well-made.

This isn’t a flashy spot, but the food feels sincere and hearty. If you appreciate honest, homestyle Korean cooking, this place deserves a visit.

First is Tom Kha Gai, the coconut soup, and second is Nuea Nam Tok, a beef salad that requires grilled and ground rice to make properly. Many restaurants miss this critical ingredient. Thai Victory nailed both dishes to the point that they earn the title Authentic. I would recommend this restaurant without regret. They've earned their rating.“

“We went here for the first time on New Years Eve. . . I noticed the atmosphere is not your typical chinese restaurant. . . we ordered the assorted app plate, tofu with black bean sauce, seafood plate and egg fu yung. . .
The apps were good. . and served as a pu pu platter setup. . I'm not sure if they know what that is out here, but it's very popular on the east coast. . .
The main dishes arrived. I was expecting something different, but was quite pleased with the food after all. The ingredients used are fresh veggies, broccoli, bok choi, etc. . . we ordered alot and ate alot. Me and my wife agreed it was a very healthy meal really. . . surprisingly so. . . I was a little let down by the tofu and black bean plate, but my wife was happy with it. . . a few veggies or something in there wouldn't go amiss. . anyway, we will return at a later date. I do suggest this place as a healthier option to the normal chinese food you might get elsewhere. . The service was very good as well. Friendly. I noticed many of the people who came in were regulars. . . this restaurant also has a family type feel to it. . we'll return in the future. . .“

I just tried the pad Thai chicken noodles last night for the first time and although it tasted really great, I noticed my heart was racing a little bit after I ate it which only happens when I consume MSG. I seem to be the only one in my family that is sensitive to MSG, but I definitely feel it. There's been many studies about how MSG is not very healthy for most people so I'm leaving this comment in hopes that pad Thai on Beverly follows what many other restaurants are doing and removes MSG as an ingredient in certain dishes. Luckily, they do not use MSG in the yellow chicken curry. Again, this is a really amazing restaurant.“
