“I've been to this place 10+ times. It's a small mom & pop spot, serving the type of Korean fare that you might expect. It's widely considered to be one of the best Korean joints in SD and I don't dispute that. But the star of the show is the Kimchi jiggae. I usually don't order Kimchi jiggae in restaurants, but the kimchi jiggae here is my absolute favorite, and I always get it. Their banchan is also simple yet excellent. If you want Korean food staples in SD, this is the place. Parking can be difficult, but it's Convoy, so you should know the drill.“

“I recently picked up some food to go, and it was the perfect choice for a night out by the water. Everything was packed thoughtfully, including those cute heart-shaped containers that made for such a fun beach picnic setup.

The sushi was fresh and flavorful, and the ramen had a perfectly cooked egg with a rich broth. We really enjoyed the variety in our order. It was such a great meal under the moon, and I will definitely be back for more soon.“

“Went here for my 3 year anniversary and it was amazing. My partner and I were told what to expect because it was our first time. I loved the Tom Yum broth and will definitely order that one again. I loved that everything was kinda open bar and included with the AYCE. If I were to come back I'd definitely only pick hotpot not because the KBBQ was bad, it was really good but I had more fun with the hotpot. Hoping to come back soon!“

“I’ve tried quite a few Korean spots in San Diego, and Song Hak is definitely one I’d come back to.

Their Korean food is really good overall, but the stone pot bibimbap was probably my favorite. It came out super hot, and I loved how the rice at the bottom got crispy from the stone bowl. Mix everything together with the sauce and it’s just so comforting and satisfying.

Everything we ordered tasted fresh and flavorful, and it honestly felt like one of those meals where you keep eating even when you’re already full 😂

“This was a great way to wrap up Comic Con. Theyb satv yes right away on Sunday evening. The food was delicious. The bbq sauce is a little spicy, but delicious. The chilli fries were delicious.

I think they may have been a little overwhelmed or short staffed. The service was a little slow. Like our drinks can't out about 3 minutes before our food.

It was really cool to sit next to the piano from Top Gun though. I would recommend this as a stop if you're in San Diego.“

“My Son took me there to enjoy a nice, juicy hamburger, fries and appetizers and he told me it was a pretty good burger place; well he was WRONG!!! The hamburgers were delicious so, were the fries and appetizers and the drinks; but what TRULY made it extra special was the very welcoming, friendly atmosphere!!! Eileen our serve was very polite, professional, kind, with great customer service skills and very attentive to every single one of her customers. We truly enjoyed eating at Scotty B’s and I highly recommend this place for everyone including families. There are some hamburgers extra spicy, but I can assure you that your taste buds will definitely enjoy their delicious and well prepared food. Eileen is definitely a keeper, but aim sure the rest of the staff will also go above and beyond to make your visit as pleasant as possible.

My most favorite part that I love about this place is that you get the opportunity to be creative and become your own chef. Another great thing is you yourself get to serve and pick what you want since it’s buffet. Have fun, enjoy, and have a good time whether it’s for a date night or with a group of family or friends. “Delicious Japanese yakiniku barbecue at Tsuruhashi on Convoy Street! The meat was so tasty, we had high quality A5 wagyu short rib, Kobe misuji, pork belly, beef tongue, and lettuce wrap and rice. Friendly staff and the meat comes out quickly. It is not all you can eat. We enjoyed the Sapporo beer. Recommend!“

“Some of the best Mexican food you will find in San Diego (which is saying a lot). Extensive menu, which has a lot of lamb items, but also vegatarian options. The flavors are amazing, and it is clear they use very fresh ingrediants. Personal favorites: Green pozole, squash blossom quesadilla, enchiladas with mole sauce.“

Also there was a DJ which makes it even better. Anyways service was great and although they do charge for water which I’ve never seen before, the food was amazing. The sushi rolls and fried rice was delicious and the rest was great too. I would come back but would probably just try to not drink too much water.“
