“I've tried the Daeho in japantown SF and I've had the Daeho in San Jose...but I feel like this Daeho tastes the best??? I'm not sure if it's the meat quality, portion sizes, flavor or what but this is my favorite location out of all the Bay Area locations.Daeho specializes in galbi-jjim, which is Korean braised beef short ribs in the most delicious sauce. You MUST get the cheese on top because they torch it at your table and it makes for a great IG story haha. I also like to get rice cakes in it. The large size can feed a table of four.The spice level is kind of inconsistent among the chains or even on certain days. I usually get spicy and I thought it wasn't spicy, during my most recent trip. (Maybe my spice tolerance went up? Maybe the chef just made it less spicy?) If you're unsure what spice level you are, I would err on the side of less spicy because you can always add spicy to it later.Aside from the beautiful galbi-jjim, I think everything else on the menu is pretty good. I like to pair my galbi-jjim order with a cold noodle to offset the heat. I think the soups here are so good. Their galbi-tang (short rib soup) is perfect on a cold day.“

“One of my all-time favorite sushi restaurants. Always busy and always worth it! Haven’t had anything there I haven’t liked yet.We typically order the omakase and add a couple more items like the toro and blue shrimp. Their plates are delicious as well, but I definitely recommend the omakase hands down.The reason I love their omakase so much:1. Always fresh, always yummy2. They season based on the fish. So, they don’t just have one sauce that gets added to everything. There is a journey to taste.3. You get a dessert!As I said, place is always busy. If you are able to make reservations, recommend that but I sometimes have a hard time reaching them over the phone. Otherwise, get there 15-20 min before they open and prepare to stand in line for a bit.“

“Have driven past this for the longest time , finally had the chance to catch dinner there with a couple of friends ! Delish dishes , exotic unexpected choices of protein like alligator and coyote??? I opted for the wagu beef ! Inside can be a little dark - be prepared to take off your shoes to sit at the table .“

“Came for a team event with 6 people. Had to sign up and wait for a table. But didnt take long.We each ordered a noodle with some apps to share. All the food was great. Super authentic northwestern food. Prices were standard bay area prices.Would recommend for a quick meal.“

“I never… EVER leave reviews for food because I feel like everything is based on bias… BUT I came here with my family last night 20 minutes before they close, not only we were treated very well, the food we wonderful. “Oh man, this place is spicy!!! No joke. Delicious flavors though. Came over the weekend, husband got the most popular dish (spicy), I got some beef tendon noodle soup dish (not spicy, supposedly...). So thankful that the spicy meat comes separately so you can decide how much to put in your noodle soup. Husband put three spoonfuls and he was chugging water throughout his dinner Mine was surprisingly spicy, and I thought it was a non spicy option!! Even the noodle and broth by itself was spicy! Flavors were very good though. I also had to chug water throughout dinner Would like to come back, and maybe bring an extra side meal for my toddler since the non-spicy side dishes were a bit limited. Friendly service, clean restaurant. Surprisingly packed for a Sunday night! Excited to see new restaurants pop up on 25th :)“

Best noodle house in MilbreaParking: Finding parking is difficult as the restaurant is on a small street. You need to find parking somewhat further away and walk to the establishment.“

“Delicious Thai food and great atmosphere! I loved the live music and cozy interior. The coconut soup and pad thai were soooooo good. We ordered a Panang curry but it never came, so our server gave us a dessert on the house. I told her it was perfect because it was my friends birthday and she came back with an entourage to sing to her! Great food, great service, and great price!“

“No line when I got there around 6pm on a weekday. I got shiro tan tan men, braised pork belly appetizer, and my friend got the tonkatsu ramen. Good quality noodles, but the broth is on the salter side. The pork belly appetizer reminded me of Vietnamese braised pork, and it definitely needed to be paired with rice...plain white rice. I tried with the ramen, but it only added more saltiness to the already salty ramen.“

The restaurant feels really messy and a little unhygienichonestly, although the staff was friendly.I see a lot of people to take out which I guess makes sense. Worth trying the dumplings for sure although if the owners clean up the place there's a lot of potential.“

Our family really love all the food.The bbq porkchop, pho, fresh spring rolls, fried rolls...The food portion is large for our SEA stomach so we usually order 1 main and 1 appetiser for 3 persons.This restaurant is located 2-3 mins walk frm Dylan Boutique hotel.“

“Best chinese i ever had in the san mateo area. nothing compares to the taste and quality of the food. i have been to this location quite a few times over the years and it's always good. Large quantities as well. My favorite dishes include peking duck, salt and pepper fried oysters, shrimp fried rice, and honey walnut prawns amongst many others. the only thing i could say bad about this place is parking can be an issue. i always order ahead and arrive early to find proper parking to pickup.“

“Toppings: crispy pork is the most impressive topping by a mile. Then pork feet is also great with generous portion. Brisket is too chewy, not my favorite . Other toppings are good but does not stand outSoup can be improved from my opinion. That’s the reason of the missing star.It is worth a try!“

“Tucked near In and Out burger off 101 and across from Lucid. Another hidden gem. There shrimp won ton with noodle is a knock out. They are related to koi palace so there dim sum is of high quality without going to koi palace. All foods are tasty and fresh and hot. “Social Eatery is a space that has 2 restaurants and 1 boba place all in one - Noodleosophy, Rice Monster, and Grapeholic. It’s very close to the Millbrae BART/Caltrain station (a 3-minute walk) and also has a pretty big parking lot??.There’s a screen near the entrance for people that are just ordering boba to-go. If you’re there for dine-in, they’ll lead you to some seats and you can order from all three places at the same time. Lots of seats for dine-in and there’s even a foosball table⚽️.Our table had a QR code for you to see the menu and order but they brought a tablet over for us to order. Not sure why but I have no issues with that??‍♀️.We ordered Beef Stew & Tendon (公公半筋半腩) and Pickled & Sliced Beef (知府酸湯肥牛).Took a little while for the orders to arrive (almost thought that they were preparing everything from scratch and cutting a whole cow open on the spot?), and there were kids running around in the place so it was pretty loud?. But after tasting the food, I have to say that the wait was worth it! The servings were pretty big, and the broth was very flavorful. Wasn’t too overly seasoned and the texture of the noodles were great.“

It was serendipitous that we ended up at Noodles and Things.Service was very efficient. Once you are seated, water is provided. From the QR code on your table, you can choose your food from the menu and order directly even without the assistance of your waiter/waitress. For the quality of food served, it was a surprise they prepared it so quickly.Food was amazingly delicious. Their soup had so much meat and portions are huge we ended up asking for take out boxes. The soup is rich, flavorful and divine. The meat is so tender and luscious, the veggies are tasty and fresh.The four of us each ordered different kinds of soup with one appetizer and our total was just below a $100 including tip.Highly recommended if you're craving for Asian soup. “Ben Tre has good flavor with good portion size. In my opinion the spring rolls are some of the best. The soup is in the top groups if you like beef broth. The restaurant is very clean and they are consistent throughout there locations.I always get the rare beef with brisket soup and meatball spring roll. Occasionally I will get the shaking beef or the 5spice chicken and neither option will let you down. The garlic noodles are pretty good, not oily and good flavor of garlic. “The service is amazing! We accidentally ordered the wrong beef dish and they replaced it with no problem. The place is very large and we were able to store my kids scooter next to our table. Also love that it's very kid friendly- We normally get the q buns, soup dumplings, spicy beef roll and pot stickers for the kiddo“

“We had spicy tuna rice cake and both types of Ramen. Shoyu Ramen was better than Tonkotsu, though a bit more oily than we enjoy. Tonkotsu was very bland - it required more salt and spiciness. Crispy rice with Spicy Tuna was great.They do have 16% service charge.“

“We came for breakfast on a Saturday. There's was about a 10-15 minute wait at noon. We had the combos. Set D is the mini chow fun with a milk congee; Set I is the boat congee with a Chinese donut and a small dish of fried squid $10. I would recommend not get the milk congee if you never had it before. As for the set D, there are better places for congee. The outstanding dish was the small fried squid. It had this mild spicy powder that made it work. Service was slow but the kitchen was fast.“

“For the love of all that is ramen this place is a damn gem. First it’s in a strip mall and looks like a dump from the outside but do not and I mean this do not let this fool you. The inside is just fine.The staff was fast and polite not a lot of time for chitchat they were busy cause this place filled up and fast.The food is honestly some of the best ramen I have ever had. I have been to Japan and I have had my share there. The ramen is wonderful and worth the drive in to try. Do not let the look on the outside scare you away they probably have to do this to keep this place what it is. One of the best ramen places I’ve been to.Bottom line go and go early and go hungry.“

“Our family enjoys eating at Naked Fish in Millbrae. Their sushi rolls and bento boxes are always delicious. There are many options to choose from between the menu and their daily specials. Their food is presented well and amply portioned. Their service is consistently good and the servers are attentive. Whether we eat a late lunch or dinner with family and friends, we always leave this place full and content.My only criticism of this place is the location. Because the gym is directly above it, more specifically, the weight room, you can hear the weights dropping on the floor on certain occasions and it’s distracting. However, because we enjoy eating here more than anything else, we tolerate the noise on the few instances it’s happened.There is ample parking around, both on the street and in the parking lot next to it.Overall, I recommend you try this restaurant if you’re in the neighborhood.“
