“This is the first time we had Caribbean food and it was very very good. I love the heat and all the flavors. If you want to try something different and want a taste of the islands, this is the place you have to go! We will definitely be back......delicious!!! Need to try everything else on the menu. “Cajun outdoor shack with fried seafood options, gumbo, and even alligator. There’s a small parking lot behind the building. Credit cards are accepted. Outdoor dining only (no indoor options) and there’s delivery and takeout available. As other reviews and the sign on their window notes,you won’t get the food quickly since it’s slow food and that’s part of the whole experience. You scan a QR code to get the menu. I opted for a fried catfish and five shrimp plate which came with an option of two small sides. I got the red beans and rice as well as fries. The red beans and rice were hot and comforting; the fries are crinkle cut. The plate came with a side of tartar sauce and there are hot sauces and ketchup available at each table. They have a paper towel roll and hand sanitizer at each table as well. The fish isn’t as seasoned as I would’ve expected but the shrimp was super fresh and tasty. I had leftovers and they still kept relatively well the next day.”

“Food was pretty good. Daphne's has a policy of being stingy on some items, even when they sell specific meals that should be better curated. For instance, you only get to have a small amount of bread and only one sauce in a group meal for four people. I wont return mainly for that reason.

This location seems to be going for the ambiance of a hole in the wall 90s Greek restaurant. It's probably more authentic, but it's just so funny when the prior location I went to was set up very modern. They don't have a light up sign out front and their menus are on 24 inch monitors like 10 feet off the ground.”

“What a hidden gem. It doesnt look like much as its a small mom and pop type place in a strip mall. Theres a parking lot right in front. The inside is clean and is nostalgic of any vietnamese restaurant.

The service was alright. There was only one guy working the register, waiting tables, and being out the food and it was pretty busy. We grabbed our own menus from the center console table and he shortly came after to take orders.

The food was really good. We both got pho and the broth was more savory than sweet and the protein portions were more than plentiful. A nice change! You know its authentic when they have chili oil out. Spring rolls were hot and homemade. Too bad they only gave 2 lettuce pieces for 5 rolls. Nonetheless, they were still delicious without.

“Drove from Vegas over here for a concert and stumbled upon this hidden gem. It’s located in a small plaza with limited parking/space. The storefront has a couple comfortable spaces to sit & enjoy their food. The waiter was very kind & checked up on us to make sure we were enjoying the food. We ordered the chicken poppers as an appetizer, dark meat hainan chicken over garlic rice, and the crispy chicken over garlic rice. Everything was cooked to perfection and tasted amazing. The hainan chicken also came with 2 sauces to dip the chicken in - a hainan sauce which was sour, slightly sweet, and slightly salty. The other sauce was a smoky spicy sauce which was amazing. Both entrées came with a clear chicken soup which was also very enjoyable. Service was very quick, efficient, and caring. Please give this hidden gem a try, you won’t regret it. 10/10 service and taste.”

“Walked in and an woman yells at me “WHAT U WANT!” My reply, “ Can I see the menu?” Woman’s reply, “CHICKEN RICE ONLY!” Me, Okay that’s what I want. Woman, “sit!” She pauses the Pakistani TV show she was watching and after a few minutes walks out with a tray of Biryani that would feed four people. It was really really good! What I liked was that it’s not toned down for the local Palate. She really friendly too. The menu is limited and on the day I walked in it was chicken rice day. For the chicken tikka she said call ahead and they will make it for you. I will try it soon.”

“This spot has been open for a while and I never tried it until today. I recently went to Paris and I loved the bakeries there so I decided to try this bakery which is very close to my house. It was really good. I chose the ham and cheese croissant. It was fresh and delicious. The coffee was good too. I will be back here soon. I plan to become a regular customer weekly.”

“This is 100% authentic Salvadoran food. Too many places around LA have a Salvi/Mex food mix and it changes the taste. We had Yuca grits con vhicharron which was absolutely the best I’ve had in a long time. The sopa de res was delicious and ofcourse had the pupusas which were great!!! My friend had Salpicon which is the first restaurant I’ve ever seen on the menu. Only had this homemade and was very legit. Staff was so nice and helpful!”

I was so cought up on eating I didn't take pictures except for the dumplings that arrived later since they were freshly made. Service was fas and serious the ladies attending the front counter dispatched 5 of us swiftly. Nothing bad to report in my visit clean fast friendly service.”

“Went here with my mother on Friday, September 12, 2025. They have so many delicious looking selections! My mother decided to get the Hawaiian BBQ Trio. It is $15.99 plus taxes. You are provided three different types of meat- pork, beef and chicken and macaroni and rice. I chose the fried rice. It was $13.99 plus taxes. They only advertise the Shrimp Fried Rice and since I'm not a Shrimp fan I asked if I could substitute it for a different meat. The attendant said sure would you like beef or chicken. I opted for the beef. She said no problem and substituted the meat for no extra charge. The food came out very hot within 10 minutes! They also provide bar-b-que sauce for each meal, napkins and forks. We both thought that our food tasted really good. We would definitely go back.”

I asked the cashier for the managers name and they told me it was Cindy. The cashier was already handling multiple orders and she was rushing him but she had an attitude as if she was annoyed I think management needs to look at the way their managers are to their employees.”
