“This is hands down one of the best Japanese restaurants I've ever been to! The udon noodles were thick and chewy, served in a savory broth that warmed my soul. I also tried their gyoza as an appetizer, which were pan-fried to perfection crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The service was attentive without being overbearing, allowing us to enjoy our server meal at our own pace. The overall experience was fantastic; I left feeling satisfied and eager to return!“

“this is one the best sushi spots in the south bay area! huge selection of sushi and specialty rolls, nigiris, special sashimi combinations. we ordered the 10 pc sashimi special and enjoyed it so much — it was thickest cuts of sashimi we’ve ever had! we also ordered omakase box (8pc) which came with wagyu, otoro, uni, salmon belly and other selections. the portions were so generous and the fish was extremely fresh!“

“it was the only stall that had a queue, & we saw people walking past with yummy looking food, so we decided to join the queue. ordered the chicken & shrimp teriyaki, & they fry it in front of you upon ordering. so you get your food piping hot, & surprisingly yummy too! portions were generous, enough for the 2 of us 😋“

“This place has quickly became my favorite sushi spot in northern San Jose and Santa Clara. The sushi is always fresh and hugely portioned. The udon is basic, but the tempura is always extra crispy and filling. Lastly, their bento box, a usual staple, is delicious on all items and reasonable priced.

Additionally, their Tako Nigiri and Agedashi Tofu are my favorite appetizers here.“

“First time after a referral and it did not disappoint! The food was fresh and delicious. The atmosphere was clean and modern. The staff were so nice and came by multiple times to check on us. I had the Happy Together roll and a Saba hand roll which were so full of flavor. Will definitely be coming back!“

“Most restaurants located next to supermarkets tend to have good food. I give the food 9/10, it would have been a perfect score but the salad was old and still served. It was the brown old, and bitter salad that no one wants to eat. The dressing on the salad was so good gobbled it down.

“I came here a few years ago and thought it was good. Recently came again and their roll meat to rice portions are not great, I prefer rolls with more fish/meat. The sashimi was fresh with good portions so maybe their nigiri is more worth here“

“This is not dine in restaurant. But a take out place. They share the space with another restaurant. So don't expect to come in to sit & eat. Place is beaten down & looks bit shady. They have cameras for security measure however.

Sushi here is very tasty and not super expensive as well. They give you the food within ten minutes of ordering. There are plenty of options available(for various price points) and would recommend to try.“

“It's a cozy little sushi restaurant. Used to be our favorite place 20yrs ago when I work here. I will say the quality is nice but this is more like American chirashi than Japanese version. The taste is alittle diff. The fish is very fresh but somehow not sweet at all. The Hamachi kama is alittle of a letdown. It used to be grilled to perfection now its like deep fried. It's not as juicy and tender.“

“Growing up in Saratoga, there weren’t many casual asian dining places nearby and Sushi Heaven has always been a staple restaurant for my family for weekend night out dinners.
Sushi Heaven is not traditional Japanese, and has a variety of rolls that are fun to choose from and also has great bento boxes.

They also reasonably price Toro and if you’re lucky, you get decent cuts.

They take reservations and are busy during dinner times so call ahead or there is a waiting list.

Service can be a hit or miss, I had a strange interaction upon arriving, for some reason the gentleman who showed me to my table asked me if i was drunk? This question seemed very strange im not sure why he would ask a guest this type of question unless the guest seemed impaired. ( i dont even drink )Other than that the sushi is delicious.“

“A random, last minute find on a Friday night with no wait and can accommodate a party of two with an infant in a carseat.
Quaint and no frills restaurant with omakase. Our omakase sashimi order was about 107 dollars, a bit pricey and presentation was not very impressive but every bite was so fresh! Their miso soup was quite delightful, better than most miso soup I’ve had.

Kid-friendliness: We brought our infant in a carseat in, placed the carseat on a chair and tucked it between the wall and the table. I see other families with small kids dining comfortably there too.“

When the sushi restaurant opened across the street, we of course had to try it, unfortunately they don't have the service nor food that would take us away from Shushi Pro.

The staff here truly cares about their guests.
They were attentive, courteous, & polite.

I have been a Food & Beverage Director for many hotels & I wish my service staff were as gracious and perfectional as the staff here.

My wife and I really love dining at Sushi Pro. From the moment we arrived until we left, everything was very well handled. I appreciate the team for putting together such a good experience. We’re already looking forward to our next visit.

“From the first moment you arrive in that place team give you an agreeable feeling. Very hospitable team, it is a happy restaurant to enjoy with friends or with your date. delicious cuisine, professional chef, decent price and excellent service. Warmly recommended.“

“I think the fish was fresh and good, they have Toro and uni which is nice. For some reason their entire menu refers to octopus as Taco instead of Tako. I wished they had takoyaki on the menu but it's okay that they didn't.

Their croquettes were good, cut into 4 to share.
We had their chirashi to share between 2 people and it was big enough to make me full. About 3 pieces each of yellowtail, salmon, tuna (and maybe something else I forgot)
I really liked the pork ramen we got. The broth was rich and delicious.

Customer service review is mixed .
We were seated quickly and given menus just as fast. When it came to placing our orders, it took a while before they realized they ran out of menus and came to our table to get our order. The...manager? Was friendly and made an active effort to compliment guests as they came in and personally wished everyone a happy Halloween which I thought was sweet. Maybe they were busy Halloween but service could be better. I will give them credit as someone did come by to check on us, not the original server or manager but a different staff came to refill our water and check if everything was good.“
