“Figured I would write a review after eating here multiple times a week for a couple years. These are the best tacos in Los Angeles. Always high quality and always delicious. The staff is always excellent and everything is always positive. Wishing them all nothing but the best!“
“Corn Man is my go-to spot in LA for satisfying late-night cravings with absolutely delicious corn on the cob. However, the surrounding neighborhood can be a bit sketchy, making it feel unsafe to hang around waiting for your order since there's only one corn man working.Despite encountering a few arguments with random passersby staring at me, the corn here is undeniably tasty and a definite must-try for those late-night munchies.“

“You can't go wrong with anything on the menu, with that said I love to try a different item on it everytime I get a chance to stop by. Taste and quality are always on point. It's awesome to see the staff having a blast together with great music in the background making the experience feel fun even when there's a wait. Pricing is perfect as the portions are generous and the flavors are like to other. So happy to see this business growing as I look forward to seeing them all over the nation one day. Keep serving it up #TYQ!“
“We are from Brazil and happened to find this amazing spot in LA. Absolutely worth the wait. We suggest that you try both corn in the cup and in the spike. I’m pretty sure we will have dreams about it. Super tasty, soft and crunchy at the same time… thank you, Corn Man!“
“Hands down, the best, best birria tacos I've ever had!!I've been eyeing this taco truck for the longest time when I was looking for birria tacos. I missed the chance to go from the last time I came by. Many other taco vendors also recommend this truck for goat birria tacos. We got some goat birria quesatacos, labio taco dorados, which were lips, asada vampiro, and of course, gotta get consome. Not many places have goat birria, and most of the time, they tend to be too dry. Those quesatacos were super tender, juicy, cheesy, and packed with tons of spices and flavors. Dipping in the beefy, hardy consome, game over. I've never seen beef lips before, so I gotta give a try. It got the texture of beef tongue, also quite delicious. Like any other taco trucks and vendors, service is always impeccable. Everyone is very friendly and supportive to other vendors. I said it once, and I'm gonna say it again. The best birria tacos!!!“

I got the LA burrito and my friend got the chili relleno burrito and she said it was awesome! The chili relleno is a Friday only burrito just fyi. I can’t wait to go again and try something from the Mediterranean part of the menu.“

“Let me say: I LOVE the fact that they make the shells fresh on-the-spot (got that extra corn flavor) and it's pressed right in front of you. Plus you can see them grill everything right there. Pretty self-explanatory: You start at the end of the line where the menu is. You let the lady making the shells know what you want, and she'll start the shells for those items, then you confirm with the next guy cutting up the stuff what kind of meat, so he'll cut it up and throw them on the shells once they're grilled correctly. Any more from the grill is the next guy over, but if you're good, you can skip straight to paying where you can get a drink.Horchata tasted good too!One thing to note: When the guy asked "Que carne?" (What meat?) My cousin said something in the most gringo accent there was. Homeboy's face got contorted as he tried to guess what she meant. Yo, give her a break, she's from Chicago, she's about as white as they come, but she tried. ?“

“I returned to try the menudo and it was absolutely delicious. The juice was flavorful and full bodied. The panza was soft and delectable. The meat was generous (but not cut small enough! I had to tear pieces off bc of how huge the meat slices are and juice would splash on my shirt, or I would burn my mouth and fingers trying to rip the meat apart with my teeth and fingers.) Other than the pain and looking like a doofus because I had to tuck napkins into my collar, It was worth it! Also, their tortillas are SO DAMN GOOD. She makes them by hand the flavor is stellar. I would like to bring my family here for menudo breakfast one day!“
“Vegetarian options: No vegan or vegetarian options here. It's all about the meat!! Mulitas, tacos, tortas and more!Parking: Parking is limited to the street and it is always busy.Wheelchair accessibility: It's on the sidewalk so you could say it is handicap accessible.“

“I love to come to this taco stand; the service is always prompt and the owners are very kind. The food is absolutely incredible and they usually have an Agua Fresca (horchata most of the time) and it's always delicious as well. They accept cash or zelle!“

“First time customer, but will be coming back again soon and often most likely. Ordered the pork (chicharron) quesadilla. There was also a chicken and squash blossom option. The tortillas are blue corn, fresh pressed for each order. The cart is small, but efficiently laid out. Napkins, ice cold drinks and plenty of toppings/salsa options available. There was a line, but I didn’t have to wait long. It was great that she takes either cards or cash too. Highly recommend!“

“These are addictive, juicy tacos that when you eat, you have to hit the pause button on any other activity going on...they are just that mind blowing. Afterwards you'll be thinking, when can my stomach take some more because they're so overpowering you won't be able to shake them from your mind. A modest tent set up outside a convenience store, next to the "Mirror Motel" along a backstreet in the Watts neighborhood converts into a carnival of flavor at the weekends when Mathew starts cooking beef asada and birria stew and toasts up his tacos on the hot iron griddle. Here is the bonafide, authentic people's kitchen taste of Los Angeles, far from some gentrified, corporate chain, cookie cutter, sterile offering in Beverly Hills. These tacos filled with stew represent the way food is served at home, not a smorgasboard of menu choices, just a couple of things done well, consistently, and dependably. They represent the taste of the working masses of Los Angeles whose bloodlines in this city are long while weaving in influences from various Mexican regions. It doesn't get more rustic and truly delightful than Mathew's tent stall where the corn tortillas are dipped in stew juices to soften them up before they are toasted on the griddle. His vat of birria conjures up the warmth and depth of roasted onions, cinammon, chiles, and slow cooked meat that falls into shreds off your fingers as you slurp up the juices. At $1.50 a pop Mathew's tacos are overflowing with complex flavor and are sensually overwhelming. You can tease the palate with fresh radishes and a suite of fresh tomato salsas, pickled onion and chilli sauces set out to garnish the tacos. The backstreet experience is indelible from your mind. I'm dreaming of going back next weekend. Please bear in mind he's only open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday as I understand it.“

“Friendly staff and amazing food quality. You could taste how fresh the seafood was! I was beyond happy with their service and their prices aren't bad compared to other mariscos restaurants I've been to with worse food quality. I would definitely recommend to anyone who wants that homestyle mariscos flavor & experience.P.s. Cash Only , be prepared.“

“Best. Taco. Stand. Ever. Hands down the most delicious tacos in LA. Full of meat and a great price at $2 each! As well as taco Tuesday deals. Unheard of. The avocado salsa is the best. Nachos and quesadillas are great too. Come here 2-3 a week for months now. Everyone is super nice and they have a big, organized team that can handle a crowd. It’s consistently busy but we’re always in and out quick. Definitely recommend! ?⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️“

“Solid taco joint with seating.I ordered 3 tacos. $2 each but if you get trips or lengua it’s $2.50. Street sized tortilla so it’s a little smaller, but they don’t skimp too badly on meat.Al Pastor - really good. Cut straight off the trompo into the tortilla. The chef also slices off a couple sivers of sweet pineapple that he catches into the taco with his other hand.Cabeza- cut into cubes. Maybe 4 more fatty chunks mixed in which melt in your mouth. Very tasty. I’d get it again.Buche - generous amounts. It has a mild flavor since it doesn’t seem to be marinated much. However it is very tender and clean-tasting.All in all, a solid choice. I will be back!“

“MÉXICO (Guerrero) ??Excerpt from Eat the World Los Angeles:While you are standing in line waiting for your chance to order this goat and lamb barbacoa, listen to the conversations of others around you, or if you do not speak Spanish start one yourself. It becomes clear that the vast majority of customers here live in nearby neighborhoods of South and Southeast Los Angeles but originally come from Guerrero. The food and adobo-rubbed Guerrero-style barbacoa they remember is best represented here under the large yellow tent. The stand has lived for over a decade, the tent was once white and much smaller, but now the current one becomes a sight that makes your heart speed up in anticipation of the upcoming meal. Barbacoa can be thrown on any menu, usually resulting in a plate of dry meat laid in front of you, but it takes someone talented and willing to put in the hard work of properly cleaning an animal and cooking it overnight to make the best. After finishing you can start to appreciate the origin stories of this food and the family that serves it. On the business card, a beautiful scene of Taxco shows the main cathedral and the mountains that surround the Northern Guerrero town. It is quite a bit closer to Mexico City than it is to the coastal Guerrero city of Acapulco, and shares a culture similar to the mountainous towns of nearby Estado de México, Morelos, and Puebla, places that have all seen quite a dramatic loss of families that have moved their lives north. It is an honor and a privilege to share meals with those that have come to Los Angeles, and the amazing yellow-tented food stand that fulfills their cravings from back home.“

“The burritos are phaaatttttt. Amazing flavor on everything I've tried so far. My wife and I moved to Glendale and worried that we wouldn't find good tacos and burritos but this spot blows it out of the park. Carnitas: bomb. Carne asada: fantastic. Cabeza: Si, por favor. If you like lengua, go here. Their tacos are filled to the brim with meat. I haven't had a single bad item yet.“
“I got here by chance on a Saturday night, the parking lot was full and the line was long, so I assumed it was good. I am not lying when I tell you that these are probably the BEST TACOS I’ve ever had in my life. If you want to have the real street food experience in LA, this is absolutely it. Its opened every day from 1PM to 2AM. • Llegué aquí por casualidad un sábado por la noche, el parqueadero estaba lleno y la fila era larga, así que asumí que era bueno. No estoy mintiendo cuando te digo que estos son probablemente los MEJORES TACOS que he probado en mi vida. Si quieres tener la verdadera experiencia de comida callejera en Los Ángeles, esto es. Está abierto todos los días de 1PM a 2AM.“
“Such a cool thing to have in this area! Huge variety of eating options from noodle shops, samosas, fried chicken, Hawaiian shaved ice and many more! Tons of shops with all sorts of random goodies. It can be crazy crowded at nights so plan accordingly“
“We were looking for a late night snack, and this place hit the spot! I ordered the pastor and cabeza tacos for to go with no cilantro, onions only. My two tacos were wrapped and kept warm in a foil package. When I got back, I realized they gave me chorizo and buche, and a lot of cilantro. I removed the cilantro, not a big deal. The chorizo, at least I think it was chorizo, wasn't too dry and it was flavorful. There were also chunks of fat (?) in it. The buche was salty...and tasted like buche. I liked their salsas and felt it complemented the meats well.Unfortunately I didn't get either of the meats I wanted to try. At $2.50 per taco, I guess I'll just have to go back to order them again.“
“Delicious and authentic Nayarit style tacos de cochinito al horno. Nice chunks of delicious pork on a tortilla with a delicious mustard sauce that compliment the tacos very well. They taste just as good as ordering them at the plaza in Acaponeta. Definitely recommend it, and I love how the roasted pig sits on display as the chunks of meat are taken from its delicious body.“
“3.5 stars. i was driving home on a Sunday night at around 1800 and saw this spot as I was headed towards the highway. Driving through Hunting Park really makes you hungry for Mexican food...:) Stopped and got 4 different tacos. The extra stuff you can add to your tacos are awesome. The grilled onions, the charro beans, the pickled onions, the radishes, the cucumber, and I think there was maybe two other things. Then there's 3 salsas and lime to top it all off. It's a lot. My tacos were loaded. I also got a pineapple fresca. I honestly think I loaded too much on my tacos and couldn't taste the meat as much. I got the pastor, chorizo, buche, and something else-it was sirloin steak. All of it's not bad but I liked the chorizo the most. There's maybe four other meats. Again, I think I overloaded my tacos and should def go back give this place another shot. But this is a cool spot for street tacos. Total cost was $12 though, which is a little pricey.“
“Literally the best taco stand in Whittier ! Everything they have is delicious !!!! The meat is juicy and full of flavor. I either get a Torta de asada con todo or a burrito de asada con todo! FYI They are also super generous and stuff the tacos, tortas and burritos with meat ! So it's perfect for sharing with someone else If you are thinking about coming here... don't think twice lol I 100% recommend this spot !! They also super nice !!! The young guy and the older man are very sweet and welcoming.“

“The size of their dim sum is double of other restaurants or take outs. Cash only keeps their prices reasonable. They also offer noodle dishes but I come specifically for the shumai and har-gow.Parking: Parking gets tight during busy hours but service is fast, depending on ur order so people vacate the parking spots frequently.“
