“Coworkers and I were actually looking for a different restaurant, got lost, decided to eat here and I am so glad we did because this place is DELICIOUS. The naan bread was SO good, crispy and chewy and fresh. I had the veggie korma, my coworkers had chicken curry dishes, we all had rice, everyone was delighted. I got a mango lasse to go and it too was fantastic. Our waiter was very nice too and we were served quickly. Total stroke of luck to wind up in front of this place, since we all want to go again soon.“

“It was the only Indian restaurant with an all day buffet or AYCE and on a Sunday that at least I could find in the Bay Area and for a reasonable price: under $25 including garlic naan (& tax.) I expected extra dishes but the dishes that were there were very tasty and filling. The hostess/server was very friendly. I was in love with the decor and the atmosphere was great with light music and a cosy feeling. Overall it’s a place I see myself going again.“

“We needed a larger table for my mom’s bday in a last minute decision to have dinner here, and although during their busier time, we were lucky and got a table. Nity was so kind, attentive and accommodating from the very start of our first phone call. She recommended a set menu for our party size and gave great recommendations. The process was smooth, informative and her communication was good. The entire staff was friendly and professional while also being polite and respectful. Food was served hot and freshly made and everything we had tasted excellent and nothing was over bearing. This included the super yummy and summery watermelon salad, malai chicken, tawa shrimp, baigan bharta, chole, dum biriyani, butter chicken, kheer brûlée and some pistachio trés leches! Kudos to the chefs! I know it can be hard to make a choice for Indian food in Berkeley but I recommend Noor, 10/10 ! “I stumbled across this place after officiating a wedding nearby, and I'm so happy about it! I'm currently sitting in my car afterwards with a full and contented tummy.

I decided to have Thalia as I didn't know what it was. To my delight, it was several small bowls with scrumptious dishes.

The lamb in coconut was so tender. The creamed spinach was incredible and the veggies with perfectly flavored, allowing their natural flavor to shine. The channa massala was nice and spicy, maybe medium level. It kicked but was still full flavored. The yogurt side was so good that I ate it alone, lol. The rice pudding was delicate, a perfect balance to the full flavors of the other dishes. And the na'an was to die for!

“Bopping in to town to see Harry Mack at Fox Theater, we parked around the corner and wanted something to eat. I saw the phrase Indian Street Food on the window, mentioned it to Brian and it was immediately decided. I am stoked, because the food was delicious!! The tikka masala was great, mango chutney to die for, salsa with my rice (sooooo good, you have no idea!!), and if I wasn't on a diet I'd have the El Jefe burrito, which is a burrito made with naan!!! Check this place out if you're anywhere near one! I believe they have multiple locations.“
