“The food was great. I ordered the szechwan shrimp. It was so tasty and really filling. Portions were enough at good prices. Great atmosphere and nice hometown setting. The service was non-intrusive but they always knew when I would need something like a water refill. I will definitely come back when in the area.

“Since this Cafe is so close to my house, I love taking my friends here when they come visit. The town of Orinda always gives me this feeling of leisure and grabbing a bite at Cafe Teatro helps to calm my mind. Both indoor and outdoor seating are available but I prefer outdoor for the sense of serenity (and because I get to look at my motorcycle while I eat). Love the Melts and Espresso here!”

This place works well if you enjoy classic American food (Meatloaf, roast beef, pot roast, etc)

If you prefer other cuisines, this wouldn't work well for you.

When visiting I enjoy either Reuben sandwich and mashed potatoes or Meatloaf and mashed potatoes. Alongside a soup
