“Such a fun little Tiki bar, right next to the Orinda Theater. The bartenders are lovely, the snacks and drinks are delicious, and the vibes are on point. We were told we can take our drinks into the movie theater. We'll have to do that next time!”

“We’ve been to Szechuan restaurant several times, both dine in and take out. The food is always great and the staff is very friendly. Last night’s meal was particularly good. We ordered a couple of new dishes which were yesterday‘s specials. One had eggplant and chicken and the other was some fish dish. We had it as take out for a dozen guests at home. All of our guests were complimenting the food and asking where we got it from. Thank you Szechwan Restaurant.”

“Still kicking ass after all these years. Definitely one of the best pizzas around. Be warned, closing at 8:30 doesn't mean you can get food until 8:30, that's when they shut the door and go home. More like they want the last to-go order in by 8 and start shutting down the dining room at 7:30-7:45.”

“Since this Cafe is so close to my house, I love taking my friends here when they come visit. The town of Orinda always gives me this feeling of leisure and grabbing a bite at Cafe Teatro helps to calm my mind. Both indoor and outdoor seating are available but I prefer outdoor for the sense of serenity (and because I get to look at my motorcycle while I eat). Love the Melts and Espresso here!”

“Great eatery when you crave a home style meal. Always plenty to choose: hot, sliced meats w/veg sides, open face and traditional hot sandwiches, soups & salads, and sliced desserts. Takeout is easy and plenty of tables for eat-in. My senior mom enjoys her trips to Europa and my 20-something niece surprised me saying she pops in there on her way home to Hayward after she visits me. Multigenerational favorite! Parking: plenty of space in the BevMo back lot but requires taking steps up to restaurant. Front entrance is ADA accessible/street level with angled parking at curb, can be limited.”

“Great food, fast efficient service, reasonable price. I had the large lamb gyro at a decent price and it was nicely seasoned, full of fresh lettuce tomato cucumber and onion, and had great tzatziki. They offered hot sauce which I took and it was a great optional addition for me as a spice lover. While waiting I drank free water from a dispenser on the counter and enjoyed the fact that these folks are running a small and quick cafe with authentic food, and not pretending to be my fake friend with effusive over the top “service”. Highly recommended if you enjoy good food and don’t require “the help” to supplicate to you.”
