“Hall Wines was an experience beyond anything that I could have imagined. When we came to wine taste at Hall, our expectations were not set. I've been too many wineries in St Helena, but I've never been to Hall. The grounds were absolutely immaculate. The winery was stunningly, beautiful. Our server Alfredo Hernandez was knowledgeable, warm, friendly, inviting, and a superb host. I love talking about wanting and asking questions as I taste and both Alfredo and Tom were both a pleasure to engage with. We enjoyed absolutely everything in our experience. We enjoyed everything so much that I decided that after July of this year, I would like to switch my wine club over to Hall from another wine club that I have in Napa. Very much looking forward to our next visit!“

“Our best visit during our trip to Napa! We visited Domaine Carneros, B.Cellars, Davis Estates, Grgich, and Prager Port. We had a nice visit at all of those vineyards, but none of them came close to the hospitality, friendliness and generosity that Ryan Morales showed us during our tasting at Maxville. The wines were fantastic, as was meeting Cullen...a member of the wine making team. The entire visit was spot on from the minute we arrived, to the tour of the grounds, to the tasting. Exceptional, proud to be a club member at Maxville...can't wait until our next visit.“

We had cheese platters as well, and James went out of his way to create our little own wine pairing with bites from the platter. The whole experience was amazing, and we really enjoyed the wines. “Had our first visit to this beautiful winery on Thursday. This was our 4th visit to Napa Valley and this is definitely a top 5. Feels like you're visiting a friend in the countryside. They have beautiful gardens filled with flowers and fruit. If you love dogs this is the place for you. We met the 11 year old golden and heard there are more puppies there too. The people are so friendly and knowledgeable and the wines are so delicious and different than the other wineries. The artwork a the bottles makes it even more special.Thinking Cap white is a blend of grapes we have never heard of and was super delicious. The Pro Que No is a fantastic easy to drink Red blend. We left with 2 bottles of that one. Every wine we tasted was a winner. Met Julia (the winemaker) and her wonderful husband (the farmer). Two really down to earth people who seem to love what they do. Go visit. You will not be disappointed!!“

“I had an outstanding experience at Flora Springs winery yesterday. I had an early reservation (dont judge!) and when I arrived, it was set up on their beautiful patio. I had an excellent host, Diana. She talked me through the different wines and even talked me through some Italian varietals that I didn't know for an upcoming trip I have. Diana is very knowledgeable and incredibly personable and a true asset to the Flora Springs team. Overall, it was a truly great day!“

“We attended their 3rd Thursday of the month event and had a really great time! The staff were all extremely friendly and welcoming. The food truck that was present was really delicious. Enjoyed the outdoor grounds and the tasting room had a really nice modern feel. I really enjoyed both their Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. The Merlot which is usually not my go to was a really smooth wine, an easy drink despite the heat. This is a really fun event, you just have to register ahead of time and the event is free, you just pay for food should you choose to eat and any bottles you may decide to purchase. I would definitely go back to this winery on my next trip to California. Thank you again for a lovely evening!“

“Spent an hour or so enjoying a delightful Sparkling Pino Grigio. We were hoping for a tasting, but appointments are required for that & we just showed up. They said we could buy a glass or bottle & enjoy their patio. We were given a small taste choice & we purchased a bottle of Sparkling Pino Grigio. My daughter & I were there on a Friday so there were few people around and we enjoyed the quiet of the patio with some conversation with the host. I'm sorry I didn't get his name as we appreciated his company. We only finished about ½ of the bottle and purchased another. We got the opened bottle capped so I could bring that one home & my daughter had her own bottle. I'm enjoying a glass of it now as I'm writing this review. Yum!
As the driver, I appreciated they supplied cold water also as the day was warm. They also provided a water bowl for my daughter's dog.“

“This was my second visit, and I brought a crew of first-timers with me. Jojo was amazing—smart, passionate, and totally dialed in on both the wine and the A&O story. Our group had questions (a lot of them), and she made the whole thing feel effortless and personal.

The wines were next-level. So good that all of us bought bottles, and a few of us ended up joining the club.

“If I could give this tasting room and Luis 10 stars I would. From the story about Jean Pierre to the food pairing!! The wines were top notch!! My fave was the fifty-fifty. I can't say enough about Luis and the experience he provided. It felt like we were transported to France. The food was from Le Toque which was absolutely delish!! We all had the best time and definitely will make this place one of my regular top wineries to go to. For different reasons from wine to experience, I like wineries like darioush, Jericho canyon, quintessa, cardinale, kenzo, farniente, opus, caymus, twomey, repris & so many more... “I recently had a great experience at Duckhorn Winery. I’m not much of a wine drinker myself, but my wife is, so I usually tag along to tastings. We booked the “Estate Cabernet Sauvignon Tasting” online, and when we arrived, we were greeted by the beautiful setting — a charming house surrounded by lush greenery.

We were met by Miguel, our wine specialist, who made the whole experience truly enjoyable. He was easygoing, knowledgeable, and made someone like me, who knows very little about wine, feel completely at ease. Miguel not only paired the wines with food perfectly but also shared the history and origins of each bottle, making it feel like we were taking a journey through Napa Valley.

He even gave us some excellent recommendations for local restaurants, which was a thoughtful touch. Overall, Duckhorn Winery offers beautiful scenery, excellent wine, and exceptional customer service. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Napa!“

“Jeffery is a wonderful host!

We had an amazing time at DAV. A 90 minute 1 on 1 with Jeffery was so much fun. He taught us about the history of Pritchard Hill and the family winery. He was knowledgeable and easy to converse with. Can’t recommend this winery enough. Such a delightful experience and will absolutely be back.

It’s a bit out of the way but make sure you include this intimate venue in your Napa trip. Can’t recommend enough!“

“First piece of advice - check the address twice before venturing up the wrong side of the mountain to get here. Second piece of advice, try to get your tasting inside the amazingly restored home | tasting room - it wrecks of Mad Men vibes and has the Instagram-ability to go along with it. We tried the Residence Experience tasting and enjoyed it. The staff wasn't as attentive as other smaller vineyard we had visited but they were super nice and accommodating. The views from the mountain are great - and even on a hot day, being seated outside isn't a killer with the refreshing afternoon breeze that comes thru hills of the mountain.“

Richard, the winemaker, was our host and he gave us one of the best wine tours I’ve experienced - and we went to Bordeaux and Champagne last year! His technical knowledge of the scientific winemaking process combined with his years of real-world experience and excellent storytelling made for a memorable afternoon that passed by so much faster than we wanted it to. “Wonderful visit. Make a point to stop here. Chase is a smaller vineyard with a very comfortable vibe that’s just off the beaten path. The wine is very impressive. Chase’s history stands in stark contrast to the newer, commercial operations in the valley.

“Smith-Madrone is a must! We had family from Holland visiting who wanted an old-school Napa experience and this place didn't disappoint. The drive up the mountain is breathtaking! We were then greeted by Charlie and taken to the barn where we began our tasting. We tried their Riesling (the best in the valley), a bright Rosé, a refreshing and crisp Chardonnay, their current release Cabernet Sauvignon and their cook's flat Cabernet Sauvignon. Delicious! Smooth, nice acidity, mineral, crisp red fruit forward and different than the valley floor wines. Better! I could have listen to Charlie talk all day about the history of the property and his predictions of what the future holds for Napa Valley. I loved seeing the wine makers out there pouring their love and care to their vines. No chandeliers, wine snobs in suits and no overpriced wine here. This is an old-school Napa experience and that's what put Napa on the map to begin with. Enjoy! ?“

“We had an excellent experience at Reverie, once again. Reverie is my favorite Napa winery and it’s a must visit when we are in Napa. My Son brought me to Napa for a milestone birthday celebration. The tasting had a chocolate Truffle that was like having a frozen hot chocolate in a ball. Lunch was a steak sandwich that was to die for. And dessert was a chocolate mouse cake that sealed the deal.“
