I also ordered a sandwich to go and was being annoying as to wether I should get it toasted or not since I was eating half now and half later, they toasted half of it for me without asking. “Just a few steps from where I live, this is my go-to neighborhood coffee and donut shop. I’ve tried quite a few of their donuts over the years including the glazed, red velvet, and chocolate are all really good. But the real star of the show is their cinnamon roll. Seriously if you get one in the morning while it’s still warm, it practically melts in your mouth. It’s hands down my favorite thing on the menu. They also serve regular drip coffee, which pairs perfectly with the pastries. One thing to keep in mind is that they don’t accept Apple Pay, and there’s a $5 minimum for credit card purchases. As someone who loves supporting local businesses, I really appreciate this family-owned shop. It’s one of those neighborhood spots I’m always happy to come back to.“

“Working with customers in 92103 I found myself here. One big plus overlooked is they have a nice big parking lot - and that's a big deal in this area.

They made me a breakfast croissant and it was way past breakfast time - thank you. The 2 woman behind the counter were very friendly.

“Me and my son stopped by as I was craving donuts and ive been here once a long time ago. I came in ordered my food and drink got a few donuts and when it was time to pay I did not have my debit card in my purse I left it at home I was so embrassed and I apoligized for it I told the lady I would be back , luckly I dont live far I came back and she looked surprised lol but they made my food and drink again and I was very aplogitic and the lady was nice about it and gave me a free donut. I did not have cash to tip and paying with my card didnt give me an option I will be back with cash tip. The food and ice coffee was good will be back again.“

“Apparently this doughnut shop has been around for a long time. I driven by here hundreds of time and didn't even know it was there. I stopped in for a maple old fashion and a cup of coffee.

The maple old fashion was very good. It had those good crisp edges and soft middle. The maple flavor was very good. The lady Chen, dropped a couple of glazed doughnut holes in my bag and they were good. The coffee was very good. It was of the drip variety and it was smooth with good flavor.

The owner Chen was very nice. She was a one woman crew when I came in, and with several customers, the handled it well with a smile on her face. The doughnut shop offers a variety of doughnuts, breakfast sandwiches, frozen yogurt, and ice cream.“

“Is the best pandan donut in San Diego in Tierrasanta? Yes.

The donut is fluffy, glazed, green and has all the flavor of real pandan leaf: there's the grassy bright green flavor, a depth that has a hint of bitter. I think they are using actual leaf and extract in their dough for this donut because I haven't had a pandan-flavored anything that has this much character that didn't. This does mean that it's not going to be to your taste if you just wanted something sweet and green but there's plenty of other flavors for that.

The ube taro has a comparatively mild earthy flavor that isn't as deep and let's you know there's taro there but not as strongly as the pandan. Still a good flavored donut and a better review had I not gotten it on the same day I got the pandan.

The other flavors I had were what I expect for a donut and all good exemplars with good rise, properly cooked, and fresh.“

“They gave both our kids free samples as soon as we walked in the door! I asked if they had sugar twists and they were out but she went back and .ade me one on the spot. That is above and beyond service. It took a while for the kids to decide what they wanted but she was incredibly patient with us. Incredible service. When I was 7 years old their donuts were 65 cents, today they’re a $1.65. In a world where everything is $3-$10 more than it was a decade ago, I respect that.“

“There were two extremely patient and kind girls working the counter today and they made this place worth talking about. We are from Orlando, FL and we have been itching to find a good Boba spot for the last 4 days. As soon as I walked in, I felt like I already won the lottery. Their churro donut is phenomenal and light, but what really impressed me was when we went off menu and I asked for a taro coconut item. One of the girls said that she likes those two best when they are mixed together in a smoothie and...she did not disappoint. The taro coconut smoothie is better than anything I have tried in Orlando. In addition, I decided to try something new and asked for the pink coconut milk tea (essentially it was strawberry and coconut). Once again, I LOVED the drink. I hope I do come back to San Diego soon and bring family along with me because I loved the atmosphere, employees/customer service, and menu items.

These fritters are absolutely ripped with chunks of apple contrasted by the crispy edges from a perfect deep fry. Plus they're so big you might have a hard time eating a whole one. Though I managed to persevere in the face of near defeat and won.
