“Ordered Crunch Combo and Lemongrass beef sandwiches. Cut them in half and shared half a sandwich each with a friend at Marina Green.

Crunch has a thin veneer of delicious pate on the bottom bread. Bread was crispy on top and soft throughout which was easy to chew. Sometimes Banh mi bread makes my jaw ache from excessive chewing. The bread they use is fantastic.

The only gripe is that there was a mouthful of gristle in my lemongrass beef, but otherwise, the sandwiches were delicious and composed well.

I’ll definitely come back. Forget the others. So far, it’s my favorite/the best Banh mi I’ve tried in San Francisco.“

“The garlic roast crab here, paired with the garlic noodles, might be one of the most enjoyable meals I’ve had in San Francisco. Just make sure you clean your hands well before eating because you’re gonna dig in deep and go nasty. And don’t skip its head. It’s surprisingly good. Dip some noodles into the garlic oil and eat some of that crab meat and all of the good stuff in one bite, and you’ll be like 🤤🤤🤤“

“First time visit to Kevin and Chris Noodle house. Love the energy and good food. My friend had Pho and I had Vermicilli noodles. Also with fried chicken wings and Thai Iced tea. Amazing and all the staff super friendly and accomodating.“

“I love this place so much. It’s quickly become a neighborhood staple and my favorite Vietnamese in the city (I used to live near Turtle Tower in Little Saigon so my bar is high)! Things I love -

- The classic beef pho broth is flavorful, savory - not overly sweet or spiced, and not watered down. It’s just perfect. They don’t skimp on portions for meat or noodles.
- You can sub fresh rice noodles for classic pho noodles, which I personally love. Less chewy but soft and comforting.
- they have greater variety than typical of a pho spot. You can get classic beef pho but they also have Bun Rieu (a tomato and shrimp/crab paste noodle soup that’s delish).
- everything’s incredibly fresh. Not a wilty herb in sight.
- finally, they service!! They are insanely kind. The owners are warm and friendly. My three year old daughter was sad that I ate her noodles 😅 and the owner packed her extra to go.

This will be our go-to spot for years to come.“

“very happy to have a new vietnamese place on haight street! both the banh mis are delicious. the pho is solid but not as flavorful as I'm used to, could've even used just some more fish sauce. But, everything is quality and the restaurant is nice, intimate, and great for grabbing a bite by yourself. I'm excited to try their other stuff!“

“To start, this is only a takeout place. No sitting area here, although I saw chairs hanging upside down. Went on a weekday around 1 and there were 5 people before me waiting for their orders. The service was very fast. The menu is small with one veggie/vegan option and 5-6 meat options. Similar options available for sandwiches, salads and bowls.
I ordered Teriyaki Tofu Vegan Banh Mi. This was the only option in any variety. Sandwich was good. Tofu was juicy but with hints of oilyness. Had mixed feelings while eating it. Veggies were cruncy inside but was missing some kind of sauce in it. Overall, a good sandwich and can be tried once.“

“Just tried for the 1st time today and ordered takeout bbq pork banh mi sandwich and a Vietnamese iced coffee. Seems like a family owned mom&pop shop, super sweet friendly service. BBQ pork banh mi sandwich was excellent, perfectly toasted bread on the outside, soft on the inside (not hard and rough like other banh mi sandwiches that hurt the roof of your mouth), delicious BBQ pork flavor, stuffed with fresh yummy pickled veggies, flavors were spot on. Vietnamese iced coffee was good, could be a bit stronger and creamier for my tastes. Overall would highly recommend. Can't wait to come back. =)“

“I walked through the trenches of San Francisco at 9pm to the only open pho place in the area. I was greeted at the door by Phong and he sat me immediately. Phong was a very pleasant server and was so accommodating. He brought me over every garnish you could’ve imagined without me even asking. I ordered the beef combination pho and it was phenomenal! “We were craving for some pho as a hangover cure and found this place! We were seated quickly when we arrived, and the room was already full!

I ordered their imperial rolls, and the large #1 House special beef soup noodle, which comes with sliced lean beef, brisket, beef tendon, beef tripe, beef balls, and a side plate of bean sprouts, basil, jalopieno, and lemon.

The imperial rolls were just alright; they didn't have enough flavor, lacking the distinct white pepper taste. I would try their shrimp spring rolls next time!

The combination pho tasted delicious, the broth was fragrant, the noodles were cooked to the right texture, and it came loaded with meats.

The staff was attentive, the food came out quickly, and they served hot tea! On top of that, the prices were really reasonable. Highly recommended!“

They've six type of sandwich all four dollars across the board. This shop is $.50 cheaper than their oakland location (4.50) and it's own by same family with each sister running a location of their own. My all-time favorite is pork belly the more fat the better. Although not as popular as rival on Larkin St, they're authentic. Stop by and treat yourself a banh mi your tummy will thank you.“

“Good vietnamese food at a reasonable price. It used to be my go to place for traditional Vietnamese pho and flavor remains the same as day one. Except fried imperial rolls were better before. I usually go for the combination soup #1 which had a little bit of everything beef. I also like the grilled pork on bed of salad with imperial rolls. Great place to visit when you want a simple and quick meal. Always fast service!“

“Amazing Banh Mi! Everything about it was amazing. I usually have trouble with the crispy portion but this bread had a thin crisp with a nice soft inner. When I went around 2pm they ran out of pork so I got a beef instead. No regrets because this is the best beef banh mi I've ever had. Very tender meat and well seasoned. I loved the amount of veggies packed in as well.

“Fresh and delicious food with a ton of flavor! Flavor explosion! We tried their homemade drinks too, the lime one and the orange mango- we finished them and then ordered more- so good. We had almost all the vegan dishes. The apps are a good small size, but the entrees are huge. Just so tasty. And the family there is so polite, kind and accommodating. The chef really knows what’s she’s doing. This isn’t a place where they have a random bland vegan option so they can check the box. These folks know what they are doing. “I am amazed there are not more reviews. This place is fantastic and consistently has long lunch lines. I usually have the Bun Thit Nuong (Pork Shoulder Noodle Bowl). The service is friendly and they do their best to keep things moving despite the lines. It is worth the wait. Very delicious, fresh and consistently excellent. Highly recommend!“

“On a really cold day in SF, this was absolutely what I needed to have in my stomach. I was so hungry and did not really want to walk too far or Uber anywhere so I was lucky enough to stumble upon this place. Even though it’s a bit cramped and looks a little run down, it was very cozy to sit in and get away from the cold.

I ordered my soup and it was ready in less than ten minutes. I ordered a small and let me just say it looked more like a large. I can’t even imagine what the large looks like.
