“Superb noodles with great value. The food here is authentic and very tasty. The biang biang noodles are very thick and chewy, and come in a humongous bowl. They have a large selection of different noodles and other dishes. The interior is clean and staff very friendly.“

“I googled "best Chinese in LA" and then this popped up as the #1 place. So we drove - and had a very good meal. However, if you expect the classic Chinese dishes, you will be disappointed. This is Shezuan, "a different animal". So no rice, no sweet-and-sour-this-and-that. So be prepared for very spicy Szechuan food. Noodles. No rice. Try the dumplings, they were delicious. We ordered mild (1 out of 5 spice degrees) and we were burning inside (we had two separate orders of dumplings - but spice grade 1. There is no consistency, so be careful). So if spicy is what you are "in" for, you'll love it. The ambiance is sort of authentic ;-) - the sign on how to use the toilet (outside the restaurant in the alley) says more than words. But then, it was $100 all-in for the four of us only. My advice: I could barely understand the service language. Better check the menu before you go. As we were first-timers, I wanted to share three starters and three mains among the four of us and leave it up to the waitress to make us explore - she did not understand. I asked if they served beer. The answer was "noodles or dumplings". :-)“

“Solid, Taiwanese and Chinese vegetarian and vegan classics. And a wonderful and clean atmosphere too! Love the lunch specials, the service, and the variety. The only downside is that the menu is huge! Too hard to make a decision, but the staff helped share some of their own favorites. They recommended the Taiwanese classics: popcorn basil chicken, lettuce wraps, soup noodles. And I really loved the chicken with orange peel.“

“One of the most juciest dumplings in town! Their crab juicy huge dumpling is a must order it’s filled with crab meat and juice it’s burst as soon as u put the straw in! Loved their small dumplings also! Their spicy dumpling with shrimp filling is also a must order! The spicyness is not very spicy so the dumpling taste you can definitely taste!“

“Food is delicious! If you like spicy can try it. If not, you can order one for non-spicy. Many different choices!“
“This place is now owned by a couple who is very nice and honest to customers. They make great chicken deli takeout and chili pepper and garlic paste which I never tasted or even knew both before!
Bouncy chicken skin and flesh and even savory bones... Chicken savory is given back to chicken to the most by pretty simple ingredients which I only tasted salt...
However the specialty Beef rice noodle didn't meet my suppose I'd like to try braised beef rice noodles and zongzi takeout next time“
“The guy at the front desk was very nice. I ran out of change and looked for it in many stores but couldn't find it. He even gave me change even if I didn't buy anything. His attitude was also very good. I will definitely try it next time!“

“We've never done take out here, but literally everything on the dine-in menu is fabulous and cooked perfectly--especially the pipa duck, when they have it. Roast duck is also great. Soy sauce chicken can't be beat anywhere in LA.
Apparently, they'll make anything you want if you call ahead. Lots of big parties on weekend evenings.
Highly recommended.“

“Family and I have been coming here for ages. Yeah some things are pricy, but most have decent portions. Food a little bit on the greasy side though. I like their braised tofu most. Their porridge is good with big chunks of yam! Parking can be a bit difficult to find at times.“

“As a canto food cafe, this place is solid. Lunch special price starts at $12.99 and comes with iced tea (milk tea or coffee is extra $1.99). The wonton brisket noodles soup got super tender brisket! The curry fishballs were bomb! Love that sauce so much, we packed it to go. Will be back to try other. Dad said the halibut rice was tasty and better than the other Macau place“

“You think about getting ramen, but you want something healthier? Try rice noodles. LuDingJi will open your world to rice noodle soup. Parking is usually plenty, just go to their underground lot. The restaurant is relatively clean. Food is served pretty instantly, so that's great news for hangry (hungry and angry ?) customers. Servers are polite and friendly too. The only complaint I have is the lighting in this restaurant is kind of dark.To order, it's 3-step to get your bowl of rice noodle goodness:1. Choose your soup base2. Choose your entree3. Choose your carbs, but really just get rice noodles! ?4. -- Side note: please get some add-ons as the dish doesn't come with many things. --Food we ordered:- Tomato soup (8/10): For those who can't eat spice, this is Really REALLY GOOD! It's not too salty, the rice noodle textures were mildly chewy and tasty. I added fatty beef and some vegetables. Overall, the portion given is plenty.- Chili Pumpkin (10/10): A little spice, but this is probably my favorite hands down! The spice has a mild sweet-sour flavor to it. I really enjoyed this.- Shou Zhua Bing (6.5/10): This is basically roti canai with meat. I actually liked the dish. I gave it a low rating because I felt like the meat was cold but I thoroughly enjoyed the roti canai!Overall, I would recommend this restaurant to anyone that wants to try a ramen alternative. ✨?
Parking: Parking is usually plenty, just go to their underground lot.“

“Worth trying. The environment is elegant. The dishes are well arranged, tasty and delicious?
Parking: There are not many parking spaces. The restaurant is tasteful and the parking lot looks unsettling. Such a restaurant is out of tune with its surroundings.“

“Very nice small restaurant selling specialty noodles and some side items. The potato noodles have a firmer texture, kinda like soba, the soup was delicious. Chicken bone was also very good. There was an old couple working there, very friendly. Price was reasonable, highest it goes was $13 for the house special noodle. Overall a great place to try something new and unique.“

“It’s really a serious Northeastern dish! The service attitude is very good! The key is that the food tastes pretty decent! The portion is not small! It is much simpler than the so-called Northeastern cuisine that pursues various trends nowadays! The old taste of hometown! Will come again!“
“This restaurant is a must-visit for clay pot rice lovers. The rice arrives sizzling with a golden, crispy bottom and perfectly infused flavors. Their Chinese sausage and marinated pork combo is outstanding.
The wait is worth it, as each pot is cooked to order. Pair your meal with their stir-fried veggies and homemade chili sauce for a complete experience. With its cozy atmosphere, generous portions, and attentive service, this spot delivers comfort food at its best.“

“The Northeastern flavor of braised delicacies, my husband and I packed a lot and took them back to the San Francisco Bay Area. I just got home and ate Harbin red sausage and smoked chicken rack. The taste is exactly the same as what is sold in our hometown in Shenyang. Why is it not available in the Bay Area? The red sausage meat is moderately salty and has a light garlic aroma, which is so rare. The same goes for the smoked chicken rack, which is not salty and has a full flavor of five-spice smoke. I'm looking forward to bringing back the pork head meat, because pork head meat is difficult to cook and requires a lot of effort to shave off the hair. I heard that the two owners are both from Shenyang. I hope that a store like this can be opened in Los Angeles for a long time, because the Chinese restaurants in Los Angeles are really bad. If this store opened in the Bay Area, it would kill other stores in a matter of seconds.“

“Drive by Chao's Food the other day and my wife suggested giving it a try. I called and ordered at 1130am, they had lunch special prices for the bento and dishes, I ordered the Singapore Fry Vermicelli, Honey Roast BBQ Pork rice set, Popcorn Chicken, Salt & Pepper Fried Tofu, Garlic Sauce Eggplant and Fish Cutlet w/ house tartar, also ordered 2 drinks (Jasmine Tea and milk tea for 1.75ea). All of these for $67. If it is not for the lunch special prices, I will not think it is worth it. But because of the lunch special, I do think they are worth it. The food is pretty decent and tasty, however, the vermicelli has way too much curry powder, that's why it is so yellowish in the picture. To get the lunch special prices, you do have to call, online will not have those prices. Chao's also serves a family dinner menu that has different types of dishes every night. You can order for 2, 3 or 4 people, and their price is very reasonable, I am definitely going to try them next month.“

“Had an amazing time at this restaurant! The grilled fish was absolutely bursting with flavor—perfectly cooked, soaked in a rich, spicy broth with tons of garlic, peppers, and veggies. We picked the spicy level and it was just the right kick to wake up your taste buds!
Loved the fun presentation on the hot plate, keeping everything warm and bubbling throughout the meal. The little details (like the sesame seeds, jalapeños, and vermicelli noodles) really made it feel authentic and satisfying.
Also tried the crispy silkworm pupae—definitely an adventurous snack, but surprisingly addictive once you get into it!
Cozy vibes, friendly staff, and solid menu. Highly recommend if you’re into bold flavors and something a little different from your usual dinner spot. 💥🐟🌶️“

“By far the best shau mei around SGV in my opinion. LARGE portions, the 4th item is in a separate bowl, the other XM's just stack it in one box. Flavor is delicious if you like heavy flavors.I see pansies here complaining about 'grease', the only fast Chinese food place I know that's not too greasy is Panda Express. Those pansy low reviews can just go there instead.SG Xiao Mei is going to be my #1 around SGV for now. Hard to beat.“

“It’s a very delicious little shop. It’s not big. The tables and chairs are very full. It’s very popular. If you go there at noon, you have to queue for half an hour. Fortunately, it tastes very good. The beef is very fresh and the beef ribs taste great. Highly recommended. The only drawback of Chaoshan Beef Hotpot is that the parking lot is too small and difficult to park. I still give it 5 points overall.“

“This snack bar is a restaurant that I personally think is more economical and tastes satisfying. I have tried other similar fast food restaurants, and I am not satisfied with the soup alone. It’s good to go with a light meal. I don’t need to mention anything else. It’s the same. I often see migrant workers nearby ordering meals. Cold drinks and pasta are available. I personally come to this restaurant to eat whenever I pass by. Everyone has different tastes, and I also Is it true that you want to spend less money and eat a seafood feast? “The taste is very good. Regular customers suggested that the rice bowls are too small. They are all freshly made and taste very good. Nowadays, there are too many pre-made dishes. The store is quite good. With so many bad reviews, I think many of them are discredited by peers. I recommend the lamb chops for 16.99.“

“Filled with Hong Kong style interior decoration. Impressive! Friendly customer service. Wonderful.
Food quality.... So so. Usually I order Stir fry Beef with flat noodles 乾炒牛河 which represents how's the food quality. Noodles is dried and beef is rough. Kind of disappointed.
Another order of Beef Brisket and potatoes in Curry sauce which few customers around me ordered. Small good. Taste wise, I'll give a B-.
Haven't tried the HK style lemon tea yet. Definitely I will try during the breakfast time in a lower price?.“
