“Haggos is the best!!!! We live a few blocks away and it's our go-to for a delicious, healthy meal! Whether we're grabbing a drink and some food on a Friday night or just need something quick to pick up during the week, Haggos is always the move. We rave about how good it is every dang time so now we are raving about it here 😂. We love the Chicken Bowl, Beef Bowl, any of the burritos - and their tortilla soup is SO good too. “Best elevated Mexican food I’ve had in San Diego! We got the shrimp ceviche, the grilled octopus, and the chicken mole. Perfect portion sizes and the tostada chips and salsa were addicting. That was the best mole I’ve had, but that octopus is really something else. Definitely coming back for that and we want to try more on the menu! SD, put this place on!“

South of Nick’s is an upscale Mexican dining experience with amazing food, a top-tier cocktail program, and a great atmosphere. Tia was our server and she was outstanding, anticipating everything we needed and making our early dinner effortless. We sat outside for the fresh California air and even though it was a little chilly, the radiant heaters kept it warm and cozy. The bar is fully stocked with a tequila selection that’s second to none, and my margarita was perfectly balanced. I had the Combo Tres Enchiladas and it was excellent, and others loved the Cabo shrimp. We also shared the chips with black bean dip, guacamole, taquitos, and tacos — everything fresh and packed with flavor. I also loved the kitchen windows where you can see how clean and dialed-in the team is behind the scenes. Parking is easy in the automated garage, but I’d recommend going early — and next time I’m grabbing the fire pit seating and working through more of the drink menu.“

“This restaurant has it all. The food is excellent with the best flavors of Mexico's finest dining experiences. The vegan options are delicious, not just an afterthought as is usually the case in so many restaurants. I had the Caldo de Piedra which is a very flavorful seafood soup and which wasn't overly spicy but just spicy enough. It had a wide variety of the freshest seafood, and was brought out in a steaming rock bowl. A chef made our guacamole right by our table side with the freshest ingredients, and then they handed us the best, tasty, house-made tortilla chips. That was a unique and creative experience. Our main server, Christian, was attentive and charming. The whole evening was outstanding.“

The salsa is awesome! And the complimentary pickled carrots are a classic. I sincerely hope you will read this review and visit this esteemed establishment to give them your business as opposed to visiting a crappiestablishment such as Chipotle.“

“IE native here who just moved to Encinitas recently! Serranos is our go-to spot for fast friendly service and delicious food. I love the breakfast burritos, chile verde, al pastor tacos, fish tacos, best taquitos everrrr, and of course their AMAZING salsas. Lucia and the kitchen staff are always kind. Many of the taco shops in the area are super overpriced and will give you a tiny burrito. Not this one. It's an honest taco shop and feels almost nostalgic since so few of these places exist in the area.“

“I have loved Wahoos since they opened one of the first ones in Huntington Beach in the nineties! it's always fresh and clean with a great vibe. It's the easiest and safest place for me to go during the pandemic. The food is very consistent across all the stores I've been too. “Very good Mexican place inside a food court set up. The place was very busy when we went during lunch time which is a great sign. You order at the counter and wait for the food to be brought out. There is lot of seating in the food court area including outdoor seating. The food was good and tasty. The taco was filling and nicely done. There are lots of condiments and salsa items on the counter for you to pick along with your order. The staff was very helpful and working hard to keep up with the orders which kept coming. Our order was wrong the first time and was quickly rectified.“

In the middle of a long trip to California’s coast, all the way from our home in Colorado, our group found ourselves in Raymundo’s colorful and welcoming restaurant. The food left our bellies and our hearts full. The tortas were “gas” the salsa was “hella good” and the drinks refreshed us after a morning in the sun. The food was made well, with care and love you could taste in every bite. Raymundo himself was even kind enough to take a photo with us all. In a world pushing us towards faceless fast food mega chains, local businesses like this one keep our world as vibrant as the walls in this lovely place.“

“found the Las Vegas Sayulitas 2 yrs ago when staying at the Luxor. there burritos are beyond spectacular. big and so delicious. I can't say it enough. and the sauces on the little sauce bar are outstanding. I've never had anything like those sauces. the hot green sauce and hot red sauce are phenomenal. I like the green the best. I lived in AZ years ago. went back home to upstate NY. there is no place near me that even comes close. I love Sayulitas and wish I had one near me. you can't go wrong if you love Mexican style food“

“My fiend previously posted a review on Yelp in 2023. He raved about their Carne Asada burritos. Myself a creature of habit, I eat what I like. Since I've cut down on my consumption of meat, I tried their Machaca Burritos. Found they stay true to their flavors and spices. I've tried Machaca all over San Diego, and L.A. They seemed watered down flavors. This place is by far the BEST i've ever had. With their Very hot sauce, it's a good pick-me-up for breakfast. Sometimes I've gone 3 times a week, and they were even able to accommodate me near closing time.“
