“Fantastic food at an extremely reasonable price. You can easily get full for 20$. We had a huge spread of dumplings, our favorite was the spicy pork dunpling and the pork and leek pancakes. Everything was delicious and seemed hand made. Service is very casual. This is a great spot to share food with people you care about you will get great shareable food and service that is attentive without being interrupting.“

“So fresh, clean, and fulfilling! The food here is great, you can really taste the quality... but it’s definitely on the overpriced side.

The space is a bit small, but the wait times were short (10 minutes), so it wasn’t an issue.

“The service was very friendly and accommodating, happy to adjust the order to my specifications which I always love. I was the only one at the restaurant and The order came very quickly. I ordered the vegetable pad Thai with no traditional broccoli, only Chinese broccoli and the order was correct and hot. I

am usually a 7 out of 10 on the American spicy scale so I ordered “medium spicy” and asked for extra but I didn’t need it, it was the perfect amount of spice for me so know it runs a bit higher on the scale.

The vegetables were clearly fresh and cooked to a light crunch. The flavor was there but I’m a bit of a tough crowd as I’ve been to Thailand and it’s difficult to find it’s equal. One thing, I’ve never seen the noodles orange like that, curious what made them that color.“

“I recently tried Kyoto Paitan Ramen last week and Curry Ramen this week at this spot. The Kyoto Paitan Ramen was good, but I was really impressed by the Curry Ramen. It wasn’t very spicy, but it was packed with flavor. I prefer thicker noodles, so I’d love to see that option next time. Overall, a great experience!“

The pork cutlet was thick, crispy, and the meat quality was really good. Everything tasted solid overall.
The only minor downside is that parking in this area can be a bit tough.“

“Tucked away behind LAX, this is a great Thai restaurant. Food was delicious and the service was great, even the decor was fun and festive. I prefer my Thai food of the sweeter side and so I really enjoyed the flavors here. The lunch menu is a good deal in today's economy. Very popular with the work lunch crowd.“

“My bf and I stopped by after a long flight and seeing good reviews. The spring rolls were so good to me. The pho broth was so soothing and delicious. My bf got the broken rice with sliced pork and he said it was good. The ube coffee looked too yummy to drink, and it was also yummy!“

“I have driven by this place several times and it doesn’t look like much on the outside but I had a good feeling about it.
As soon as, we walked in the Aroma of the kitchen was Amazing!! Plenty of “pick up orders” on the countertop! Menu had lots of options. Pho and spring rolls +peanut sauce and flavors did not fail super yummy!
Customers were eating happily just like us. Service was great and attentive. Returning soon !“

“Delicious Chinese food with unique menu items all delivered in a fantastic old school Hollywood atmosphere. From the pictures on the wall of the great stars of the past and the booths where Elvis Presley, Marilyn Monroe and Burt Reynolds hung out, you can feel the history and reminisce about the past. The boa, lettuce wraps, scallion pancakes, fried tofu, and chicken salad all were excellent choices. They also had great drink choices. The only downside was that parking was in a paid parking lot and the restaurant prices were very high.“

“Found this place on Google while spending a night in LA near the airport 🛫. The place looks rough as heck, but don't be fooled. The food is incredible. Close to, if not the best sushi I ever ate. I get sushi everytime I travel to different places, so I have tried a fair bit. The place is self serve you set the table yourself and everything else. The fish was extremely fresh and the chef is an expert. He prepares the sushi 🍣 right out in the open so no secrets. The rolls are big and filling. I would highly recommend this place if you are around LAX and want sushi. They also do take out and door dash services. Thanks to chef!“

“Decided to try this lil place after the first place e we went to was all vegan. Nothing wrong with that, just wanted some good pork ramen. My lady and I shared some great steamed pork/chicken pot stickers with a spicy yuzu sauce that was tangy and spicy. She had the chicken ramen and I had the Tekesume (sorry if I misspelled this). I hate to write a review for this restaurant because it’s the best kept secret on the westside and I’m afraid the word will get out and I’ll lose my little slice of Japanese food heaven. I’ve been going to Taiko for well over 20 years and the quality of food, cozy atmosphere and exceptional service has always been fantastic and keeps getting better. The garlic edamame is a must starter and the pumpkin tempura roll is addictive. The broth in the hot Kake bowls has always been perfect and the Udon and Soba are always fresh. They only have 4 or 5 small tables outside but they always go the extra mile to make sure there is a heater nearby on a chilly night. If you decide to get take-out you won’t be disappointed as every single item is wrapped with care and portions are equal to eating in. When I got Covid one winter this was the only take-out I could stomach and it made my heart sing. Service is always above and beyond.

They just raised their prices (2025) but still competitive. ENJOY!“

“Been wanting to try this place for a couple years now. Glad we finally did. Excellent food, much better than any Jinya Ramen. We had a bunch of appetizers. Indeed, their Takoyaki was amazing, Howard Yang! 😍 We had 2 seasonal specials, the Spicy Crispy Shrimp Roll and the cold Tan Tan ramen. Both were fantastic, albeit a bit too spicy for me. Service is super friendly. We will definitely be back. Want to try a bunch of other things, including the hot ramens.“

“I don’t usually crave Thai food, but my husband loves it, so we’ve tried a few spots in the area. Honestly, this is one of the better ones we’ve been to.

We’ve dined here twice now, and both times we ordered the combo Pad Thai and the chicken green curry—both were excellent. The portions are generous, packed with protein, and full of flavor. I’m particular about Pad Thai; I don’t like it overly saucy, but I also don’t want it too dry. This one strikes the perfect balance, making it just right for me.

This is our go to place when we are wanting Thai food, hopefully it doesn’t go out of business“

“If you want liang pi or if you haven’t tried it, I highly recommend this spot. Other noodles were just ok. I do want to mention that the portions are HUGE, so very good value. The bowl I got could be eaten for two meals. Food was out very fast. They also sell some bubble tea drinks there.“
