Pancake lovers: try the Lemon Soufflé Pancakes, there’s just the right amount of citrus in these decadent fluffy pancakes. Vegans & avo toast lovers try the Avocado Toast. Plentiful, perfectly seasoned mashed avocado with feta & pickled onions on house baked bread is superb. Another vegan option is the Warrior Pudding Bowl, this healthy dish is super flavorful, light yet filling. Ingredients include quinoa, hemp, chia & oat. The Nell’s famous Hot Cocoa is rich, creamy & a quintessential tribute to Valrhona’s top of the heap chocolate. The recipe includes half & half, sugar, Valrhona cocoa powder & chocolate. It’s unreal! I’m a pastry fanatic so I always can’t wait to hear what flavor hand pie (pop tart esque) is on the menu. I also stash one in my ski back pack, makes the chairlift ride even more fun!”

The ambiance of the place promised an authentic Italian dining experience, but it was our server, Eduardo, who elevated our visit into something truly memorable. His approach to service was personal and attentive, perfectly balancing professionalism with a genuine desire to connect with us. “’m always looking for some place different to eat, to stay, to do, when we travel. I’m not sure how I even found this restaurant but I’m sure part of the attraction was a black owned business in Aspen. MAWA’s Kitchen is like striking gold in the mountains of Colorado. Every dish was excellent, from the Brussel Sprout Caesar to the Two Roots Sautéed Greens, pure heaven in your mouth. For our entrees Conrad chose the Red Snapper. It was served on top of some Zaalouk, which is a Moroccan salad of cooked eggplant and tomatoes. Delicious. I chose the West African Gumbo. The flavors meshed together perfectly and had a little spicy Andouille sausage to kick it up a notch. The servers were great and they even gave me a dessert for my birthday. I would definitely recommend this for a great dining experience. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Stopped by for brunch today, another excellent meal. Got to meet Mawa. Such a great place. And the servers are the best!! ❤️❤️❤️”

“Came here for an appetizer/drinks while waiting for a table at another restaurant. We were enticed by the rooftop umbrellas but the drinks and steak tacos were surprising good. A bit expensive for Mexican food (30 dollars for 2 tacos), but not completely out of line with other restaurants in the area.”

“Very nice fancy restaurant. Signature dishes were great, specifically the Elk, and the desserts like the donuts were amazing, but most of the non-signature dishes were so-so.

It is a very pricy restaurant, so be prepared to spend (but you’re in Aspen so that should be expected).

“Truly one of a kind, must see venue. If you are a big time music lover then Belly Up must be on your list. (On a side note : beware of 20 something year old locals with very poor morals!) Very small intimate venue with a great view from everywhere in the house. The staff here is absolutely top notch in every way. Layout is extremely convenient to get around, and parking was easy to find near by. If you want to be close to the stage or get one of the few(non-reserved) seats then you better get there right when doors open. Doors opened at 9, show was at 10, Illenium came on at 11 and played unitl 12:30. As long as you get there in the first hour its not tough to get in at all. The acoustics were great and if your close to the stage you get whipped in the face with the bass at times. Will absolutely be back in the future and put it at the top of my list for favorite venues of all time. Well worth it! To have only seen Illenium at sold out Red Rocks shows or festivals of 25,000+ crowds before this . . . To see him up close in a crowd of only 400 people, It's hard to put into words how incredible it was. What this unmatched venue does, bringing A-list acts to such an intimate setting for deep fans is such a one of a kind thing. I seriously can't wait until my next show here, one if the best days ever!”

I've been to several other restaurants in both Aspen and Vail and when it comes down to quality, freshness, and taste, Meat & Cheese is at the top of the list. Some of my favorites on the menu were the steak board, the espresso martinis, and the Vietnamese coffee crème brûlée.”

“Cache Cache by Name but is no secret it’s one of Aspens Best for nearly 40 years and deserves to be front of Aspen fine dining Scene.

The menu is tried and tested over the decades and there are many favourites dishes that I look forward to going back to.

In the mains the Lamb rack is a must, as is the Osso Bucca and the Pork Cutlet is Huge

I had the special of the day a prawn shrimp Rissottol and having travelled the world I thought it was the best seafood risotto I have ever had and would beat anything I have had in France or Italy. Exquisite as we told Jody the owner who is always there to welcome guests.

The wine list is one of the best in Aspen with amazing wines that are from around the world. I am always happy to treat my self to an old French under the guidance of the expert sommelier Alexandre who has true knowledge of the wines that are in the wine list.

In for a Penny In for a pound when in Aspen but Cache Cache allows you to leave with a memorable experience.

“Went for cocktails and a charcuterie board, and were blown away. We enjoyed the Alexander Hamilton, Espresso Martini, Blackberry Whiskey Sour, and Drury Lane cocktails, which were all superb. But the Alexander Hamilton and the Drury Lane tied for two of the tastiest cocktails I’ve ever had. The vegetarian charcuterie board was delicious and satiating. Dimly lit yet casual lounge with indie chunes and cabin decor. Would highly recommend this place

“The first time I ever went to Campo was on their Dirty 30 anniversary celebration, and I love that for me. This place was rowdy in all the best ways. I weaseled my way into a friend’s already made reservation at the bar, which was surrounded by standing room only, ran into a bunch of local close friends. Ordered the penne vodka which basically sent me to heaven, had the best house Sauvignon blanc ever, got hit on by and old guy, paid only $20 for the experience total because it was half off night, and it was so busy and wild that my friends forgot to pay their check when they left (they called the next day to pay and sort it out.) The tequila Shotski really did me dirty though. I will never forget this place.”

“My husband and I went to Catch Steak in Aspen last night, and we had a blast! I’d been wanting to check it out forever, and finally managed to snag a late night reservation most likely due to weather cancellations. Yes, it’s definitely an expensive experience there’s no denying that but so is everywhere in Aspen and it really was a most enjoyable evening. Our server, Noah, was incredible! Such a nice, friendly, and genuine person who truly made our evening quite memorable. When we go back, we certainly plan to request Noah him as our server!

For our appetizer, we ended up keeping it simple with the pretzel bread as we didn’t want to fill up too much given our entree choices. It turned out to be way more delicious than expected and the whipped honey-mustard butter is awesome! I wish I could’ve bottled that up and taken some home with me - so good.

Our entrees were ultimately the stars of the night though - My husband ended up getting the 8 oz. Imperial Cut Wagyu Filet Mignon and he loved it. We shared a side of Mac & Cheese, which was also delicious and the perfect size for 2 of us. For my entree, I ended up getting the Wagyu Flight Experience! While the portion size may seem small, I definitely felt full from it and barely had room for the Mac & Cheese. Each of the 5 wagyu pieces was unique in its flavor and texture, but all were simply amazing and the “melt in your mouth” consistency was present among all 5. I loved this Wagyu Flight so much! I unfortunately chose to go to the bathroom right before this came out, so I didn’t get to see it cooked in front of me on the hot stone. My husband took photos of it though, and it was so neat to see!

Despite it being my fault that I missed seeing the hot stone in-person, our server Noah felt really bad about this timing and brought us the 13-layer chocolate cake for dessert on the house. He absolutely didn’t have to do that at all, but it’s just one of the many ways that Noah went above and beyond for us during our dining experience at Catch! By the way, the 13-layer chocolate cake is huge so plan accordingly as you’ll absolutely want to try it! Both my husband and I are so excited to go back to Catch Steak Aspen on our next trip out here! Highly recommend, and I’d give more than 5 stars here if I could.”
