“A nice date place. Cocktails were great, Belladonna's Kiss and Blushing Moon were particularly good. The only food was a charcuterie board, but a good selection on it. Great service, but the overly loud music was one beat the entire time there: bootsandpants and bootsandpants... you get the idea. Definitely make reservations!“

“My husband and I stopped here while vacationing in Denver. We wanted to celebrate our first anniversary with a nice dinner and had heard that Major Tom specializes in champagne - our favorite. We walked in without a reservation and were luckily able to be accommodated. The sommelier, Cutter, was great and helped us throughout the evening with two amazing bottles of sparkling wine. Our server / bartender Felipe was also amazing and so kind. The food was phenomenal - we ordered some of their seasonal dishes that paired perfectly with our champagne selections. The entire staff spoke to us as though we were friends or regulars and had been there a million times. Highly highly recommend stopping here if you’re in town and want an intimate evening with incredible friendly and truly hospitable service!“

“Table 6 in Denver’s Alamo Placita neighborhood delivered an incredible dining experience with each dish showcasing farm‑to‑table freshness and creative flavors. From the tender broccolini and creamy carrot hummus to the perfectly seared grilled beef coulotte and rich duck confit, everything I ate was exceptional, and the chocolate beignets provided a decadent finish. The service was attentive and friendly without ever feeling rushed, making the evening both comfortable and relaxed. The atmosphere is chill and unpretentious, perfect for a laid‑back night out with friends. I’ll definitely be back soon!“

“We were a party of two that was luckily able to snag a walk-in spot at the bar. We waited roughly 15 minutes for a spot to open up.
They recommended 2-3 plates per person, so keep that in mind (and budget!). Food was incredibly delicious, but some items felt like it needed a slightly larger portion size for the price. For example, the pork jowl had 3 pieces and is $26.
The soft scrambled egg and charred cabbage were surprising favorites as they took simple ingredients and transformed them into something incredibly delicious.
We also ordered a bowl of rice but it didn't come during the first dish. We had to request it after our final dish had come out as we would have expected it to be delivered amongst the first dishes so it can be eaten alongside everything else.
The banana pudding is super good, I love the Vietnamese twist to it and it wasn't too sweet.
Overall, this was a great meal but I won't be back as the portion size for the price isn't in my budget. If money is not a limiting factor, you'll enjoy this place for the unique flavors.“

You will not find a better pomodoro sauce anywhere unless your grandma is from Italy and has a long held family recipe. “We started coming here about a year ago for their awesome lunch sashimi specials and somehow it quickly turned into an almost-weekly tradition. Whether it’s a quick workday lunch or a full-on family feast, this place never misses.

“We had a fantastic experience at Venice! We’ve lived in Denver for 20 years and we never knew this place existed. Great atmosphere and the food was amazing, so authentic! We went with our 3 kids (13, 10 and 10), they ordered off the kids menu and loved the fettuccini Alfredo. The service was excellent, and our server, Gillian was on point. I can’t say enough good things about him. We will most definitely be back. I would recommend this place to anyone. This place is really nice and intimate feeling. By far my favorite wine from the flights we tried was the Viognier, which isn’t usually a go-to for me. And the baked cambozola was amazing! They were also clearly observing good current phase of pandemic practices, with staff all masked and tables well spaced out. A sign out front demanded patrons put on masks before entering. Made me comfortable, even though it was one of my first experiences returning to indoor dining.“

“My book club went in during valentines wknd and I’m sure our server was disappointed we decided to order ala carte rather than their $$ tasting menu but she was very gracious and gave us great service nonetheless. We ordered a wide variety of things and while I didn’t try everything - the katsu was a hit, the mushrooms and calamari were also good…the hummus plate on the other hand was a slap in the face. It was maybe a tablespoon of hummus with a few scraps of bread. On the topic of cheap toast - the GF focaccia was literally just toast. Not sure why you would force focaccia to be GF and then do such a bad job of it. For a higher end restaurant, they either need to remove that item or do it justice. Drinks were great & they seemed to have a good wine selection.“
