“Malaysian restaurants are hard to come by so when we came across the Satay Club on our trip to Washington, we just had to try their chicken satay with peanut sauce, roti canai and char kway teow. We were not disappointed and highly recommend these dishes. Service was good and efficient, the environment was pleasant and comfortable.“

“Excellent Laotian food at very reasonable prices. I've been here several times and it has never disappointed. I even prefer it to its sister restaurant Tip Khao, which is older and better established (and also very good). This place is more creative and has flavors that are closer to what you'll find in East Asia. Overall, one of the very best restaurants in DC in terms of price/quality ratio.“

“Visited over the weekend, service was outstanding! They were so helpful and friendly, guiding us through ordering and making recommendations. The food was too-notch! Bright and refreshing, and with LOTS of flavor! I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for something fresh and new!“
“I've eaten here twice and enjoyed it on both occasions. My first was a takeout order which was 2 of their specialty rolls, a red dragon roll and a pink lady roll, both delicious. Today I dined in and had their Yellowtail platter, which was sashimi, sushi, one regular yellowtail maki roll, and one spicy yellowtail maki roll. The meal also came with Miso soup.
It's a modest interior with a sushi bar and a few tables. They offer an extensive sushi menu and kitchen prepped food. The service quick and pleasant.
My only complaint is, it is pricy, but all sushi in general costs more. You'll pay $15 for a grocery store roll, but the sushi here is significantly fresher and higher quality.
So far I would consider this one of the best neighborhood restaurants in DC.“

“DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY! Tiny portions and mediocre food for insane prices. Do Not Recommend! We waited 15 minutes to be asked if we needed water. then 10 more until they even brought it. The Thai rice was kinda mushy, the Peanut noodles were so so and the Garlic noodles was such a small portion I thought I was being punked which i tried eating made it half way and didnt finish. Then when the staff asked why were weren't eating the food they didn't even bother to comp or just apologize after we told the manager how we felt. Terrible experience and honestly the worst food I've eaten in DC in the last few months of visiting! I would have rather gone to CAVA.“

“MohMohLicious is delicious! They have an extensive menu, including lots of vegetarian options, and the portions are substantial—I get two days of leftovers from one entree. The food is fresh, piping hot, and just generally delectable. All in an unassuming little shop on Georgia Ave. The in-restaurant seating is limited (and chilly in the winter), so you might want to consider takeout.“

“I order food from here at least once a week, sometimes more. Every dish I’ve tried here, I’ve loved. Atmosphere is beautiful, service is excellent, and I’m obsessed with their food. This is my go to food spot, literally can’t get enough.“

“Solid pho, plus it came out extremely fast and the place seems clean. Would happily try other things there. The worst part was the noodles: not great but ok given that it’s a casual and fast spot; the noodles were almost exclusively short and there were few long ones, perhaps overcooked and they fell apart.“

“Ordered from here because they are open on Mondays and they do their own delivery. Ordering was easy, tracking the delivery was easy and the delivery person was friendly. Food was better than expected and if we need to order again while at the DC VAMC we would order from here again.“

“I went at noon and it was not crowded at all, and it was quiet, a big bonus for me these days. No loud music and people shouting in order to converse over it. The food was very good, very fresh. I highly recommend this restaurant for Asian fusion cuisine and sushi.“
“Walked into this food hall for small bites and came across Bold Dumpling! We ordered the pork and shrimp soup dumplings, and I think they were the best I’ve ever had. My partner and I go to the movies at the Alamo often, so we’ll make Bold Dumpling a part of our movie dates from now on. :)“

“Quick service, yummy, one roll was plenty for me! They even brought it over to my table! I got the orange dragon roll, which perfectly combined shrimp tempura, tuna and salmon with spicy mayo! Those are my fave rolls! The place is near the ice rink and not a ton of seating. But overall, I would eat here again!
Edit: I walked around, got hungry and came back for a second roll!“

“This place is kind of difficult to find as it is in the 3rd level on Union Station. I dined here at 4:30pm on a Tuesday and the place was empty. I had the curry laksa noodle which I had never tried before. I'm not sure if this is how they serve it normally but it had two different kinds of noodles. The soup was a bit salty to my taste but it was filling and overall quite good. I would definitely go again if I have to wait before a train.“

“I hadn’t been here in forever and ended up meeting a friend for a quick lunch. The Singapore Noodles HIT and to get a nice cup of wonton soup for a $1 more? No brainer. Can’t beautiful the price for the quality and the lunch portion was perfect. Certainly adding it into the office lunch rotation!“

“Let me start by saying I will go again. I thought their basic Tiger dumplings were great. Had the combo that came with soup and rice which came out to about $14 with tax. I'd like to try their other dumplings.
The negative was the Hot and Sour soup. It smelled a bit different than what I am used to, and not in a good way. It had a good spice level. But it was WAY TOO salty. I ended up throwing away half of it because it really was too salty. I'm not sure I've ever had something from a restaurant that was that salty. I also saw other reviews that said similar, so it seems to me that it is a common issue. Just be wary of the soup, which should be an easy fix for the kitchen.“

“I like northern style chinese dumplings. Ones where the dough is thicker and doughier. I’ve been looking all over DC and this is the first place that has one. Is there a little less filling? Yea. But imo i don’t care because they taste great and what im looking for.
If you like dumplings like these then disregard any other comment about them where they are probably looking for gyoza
Can’t speak to any of the other food, just glad i found my dumplings.“

“Nice place, adjacent to the hotel. Servings were ample, service was really good. My only issue was everything came out so fast most of it was lukewarm by the time we got to it. Wound up taking some home with us. Prices were good but it added up fast. More of a family style sit down place.“

“Decent poke bowl and spring rolls. Good for a quick bite. The poke bowl seemed a bit smaller than other places Ive been to but the ingredients seemed fresh. I saw the guy who made it chopping.
Casual atmosphere. Nothing fancy at all about this place.
The service was slow but I'm not sure if it was because they were short staffed or what. You could tell the workers were hustling. They did pretty well for the amount of orders coming in and amount of staff they had but there was a bit of a wait. I saw some other patrons getting a bit impatient. But otherwise good. Id go back for a quick bite.“

“This was a really great place to go. The food was hot and delicious. They included all the sauce I needed to succeed. The food was hot and spicy and I even had a nice place to sit down. I want to come here often. This is a great spot. Thanks y'all!“

“I love mayflower! Definitely my favorite Chinese restaurant in the area. Great sized portions and fast service. A lot of reviewers seem to be confused about the delivery system, they deliver through DoorDash, not their own driver. So all the bad reviews complaining about delivery should really be directed towards DoorDash. Anyways, great place and lovely family owned business!“
