“I had the hummer for an appetizer, the red snapper with a side of garlic fried rice for my entree and the fried cheesecake for dessert. Everything was amazing! I have no complaints. Maria was the waitress and her customer service was excellent. I would highly recommend Pink Tiger at the Wharf.“

“The night before the Marine Corps Marathon, we celebrated our anniversary dinner with family and relatives at Satay Club, a cozy Malaysian restaurant tucked in the heart of Washington DC. I’m always on the lookout for authentic flavors — and this place truly impressed us with every bite.
We started our feast with their signature Satay — both chicken and lamb. Perfectly grilled with smoky charred edges, the skewers were tender and flavorful, complemented beautifully by the rich, nutty peanut sauce. It felt like a taste of Kuala Lumpur in DC!
Next came the salted fish fried rice, aromatic and full of wok hei (that irresistible smoky aroma). The balance of savory salted fish, soft egg, and crisp vegetables made it comfort food at its best. The calamari dish was crispy on the outside and tender inside, served with colorful bell peppers and crunchy shallots — a delightful mix of texture and spice.
We also loved the tofu and eggplant stir-fry, which came in a deliciously savory sauce — rich, hearty, and deeply satisfying. To end the evening, we indulged in ice chendol and fried banana, a sweet and refreshing finish that brought nostalgic memories of Southeast Asia.
Satay Club is a gem — family-run, warm, and truly authentic. A perfect place for Malaysian food lovers and a wonderful way to celebrate before marathon day! 🇲🇾🍢🍚💛“

“We were on our trip to DC. By chance I pulled into the parking lot to check GPS. The wife suggested we grab a quick bite. The food was very decent. The waitress was not rude, but not polite either. Maybe that’s the thing with Chinese, we are not warm to our own kind.“

“Had the deluxe sashimi. While I’m not a fan of white tuna, I get why it’s included. The hamachi was really good, melt in your mouth. As was the rest of the sashimi. I liked how seaweed salad was used as a bed for one of the fish. And need that miso soup for the probiotic and comfort on a cold fall evening.“

“Kata DID NOT disappoint!
I did not make a reservation but was pleasantly greeted and immediately seated by Haywood. He was extremely welcoming and made me feel like a regular, although it was my first visit.
I sat at the bar and Anabel & Facundo were
friendly, energetic, and very attentive. I enjoyed conversation and did not feel awkward at all being a solo diner. Anabel prepared my cocktail beautifully and made sure it was picture ready!
Food was delicious! I had the beef dumpling, the filet mignon, and cheesecake. Temperature was good, wait was not long, and presentation was beautiful.
I can’t wait to come back and experience the live entertainment with my Besties!“

“One of my favorite dinners since moving to DC, the jaew bong wings (crispy, fried to perfection, just a little too sweet) or red curry (rich, tender brisket) were my favorite. We also got the tapioca pearl dumplings which were not my favorite due to their texture, but overall everything was delicious. Loved the vibe in there too.“

“Very friendly and pleasant staff, always upbeat and welcoming. Have tried their noodles and brown rice with shrimp/tofu/chick pea curry, would definitely recommend the shrimp. The sauces are amazing, very healthy portion of vegetables and overall feel-good meal. Would definitely recommend. Would be great if they added some halal meat options.“

“incredibly delicious pho! I've been living in the US for 2 years, and only now have I eaten real and delicious pho! I've tried it in different cities, but this is the best. The most authentic, rich broth, elastic noodles. I recommend it to everyone!“

“Moh Moh licious is a bit of hidden treasure. The Moh mohs (Nepalese dumplings) are ridiculously good. Every time I order i tell myself I'll try more things and then get the same delicious dumplings and I'm happy. The C Momo (if you want some heat), Kothey Momo (if you want to control the sauce options), and Jhol Momo are my go to orders. Order more than you want because they are fantastic as leftovers. If this restaurant was further south on Georgia Ave there would lines out of the door.“

“$2 Crazy Hour is absolutely insane! They have a great selection of sushi and various appetizers. The sushi is the same high quality as their dinner service ,the fish pieces are huge and incredibly fresh. The alcohol are 50% off, and the selection is massive, they're not stingy like other places that only offer one or two brands. It's a super friendly restaurant, and you absolutely cannot find a better deal in town!“

“I went at noon and it was not crowded at all, and it was quiet, a big bonus for me these days. No loud music and people shouting in order to converse over it. The food was very good, very fresh. I highly recommend this restaurant for Asian fusion cuisine and sushi.“

“I ordered take-out via Grubhub, the sushi was very fresh & tasted great. Presentation was all there however, the Volcano appetizer was tiny. For $13.00 and it being that small, if I had dined in the restaurant and it came out like that I would have sent it back. I won’t be ordering that again!“

“This is a tucked away gem. Get the Shanghai rolls with a side of white rice and it’ll change your life. The Manila BBQ (chicken or pork) has a deliciously unique flavor and epic char. Pickled and steamed veggies are perfect too. I love this place, it has the nicest staff and is the last remaining soul of Union Station❤️“

“I just really enjoy everything on their menu. Today I tried the wings, it was moist on the inside and just the perfect crunched on the outside. Drizzled with calamansi sauce ... i'm drooling thinking about it. Stop by and try their loco moco, lumpia, or a vegetarian dish!“

“My favorite part about this experience was the karaoke had every song you could imagine, the rooms were sizable, and the drinks were relatively affordable we had a group of perhaps 12 and the room was able to be split amongst all of us. Reserve in advance!“

“Quick competent service, a little under flavored combination fried rice. Needed a little vinegar as over oiled. The individual meat, tofu and veg items in the fried rice were cooked perfectly.
I guess just ask for a little less less. They are just get some vinegar or chili oil and add it. When I added the chili oil, that's pretty good.
Only a couple outdoor tables.“

“I love mayflower! Definitely my favorite Chinese restaurant in the area. Great sized portions and fast service. A lot of reviewers seem to be confused about the delivery system, they deliver through DoorDash, not their own driver. So all the bad reviews complaining about delivery should really be directed towards DoorDash. Anyways, great place and lovely family owned business!“

“Khin’s Sushi gets my vote for tasty sushi at reasonable prices. Khin’s is in an odd space. They share their small and minimal dining area with a pizza place. Khin’s also sells gelato. It’s a weird one-stop-shop for all things lunch. But I digress. We tried a variety of basic sushi like their California roll. It was all good. The rolls were not huge. But we enjoyed them. The service is a bit gruff. And the ambiance is pure 80’s fast food. But forget about all of that. Go in, grab some sushi while your spouse/partner/friend grabs a slice. And enjoy a good meal together. We will return.“

“Ordered on Uber eats… came hot, good portion of food and tasty. I got the Salmon Bento box… loved that it came with spring rolls, dumplings and California rolls in addition to your entree with two included sides. All for an extremely affordable price, wish I knew about this place sooner!“
