“My fellow traveler and I stopped by on our way home to Virginia. It was a long day of travel, delayed flights, we just wanted to sit down and chill. We didn’t expect much out of an airport restaurant… But we were both blown away. Our server, Tarvis, was charming, professional, knowledgeable, and exceptional. The BLT with bacon jam, and the rice pudding with cinnamon and peaches was superb. (I could’ve eaten a whole jar of the bacon jam.) Tarvis, thank you for making two weary travelers leave your restaurant with pep in their step Keep on shining your light. And to any traveler who is leery of a place that serves a hamburger and a sushi roll… Fear not. This place is great.“

“We ate here after seeing Cirque du Soleil nearby with our two kids, 10 & 11. The restaurant was clean, and comfortably decorated. I wasn't worried too much about having what amounts to a grill in the middle of our table with the kids. It's obviously hot, but it's not like you'll lose a hand if you get too close here and there. Service was great. Our server was Yuki. He was very attentive, and explained how it worked, and answered any questions. When our food arrived, Yuki told us exactly what each item was, and exactly how long to cook it per side. Not a cheap place to go, especially with kids, but a nice treat after an otherwise fun-filled day with other new first experiences.“

The space itself felt intimate with a small number of tables available. We were well cared for and had a wonderful evening enjoying both familiar and new flavor profiles. “The udon noodle soup stood out for how clean the broth tasted.. Everything seemed very fresh. the shrimp and veggies had nice texture and flavor. They don't skimp on the shrimp which I appreciate! The spicy bluefin tuna rolls were apparently good as well. The gyoza was slightly better than the sushi however, although marginally. We also had the edamame. I would highly recommend this restaurant!“

The food tasted great. The atmosphere was nice. We were at a long bar. It was relatively dark. The only complaint I could have is the music was a little too loud. It made the chef hard to hear.“

“My husband and I are Chinese, and we drove about 30 minutes just to try this restaurant. It was also our very first Omakase experience, and we absolutely loved it!

Everything was incredibly fresh and delicious, and we enjoyed every course. Toward the end of the evening, my husband and I were the only two guests left with the chef. It felt so peaceful, intimate, and romantic—almost like we had the whole place to ourselves. ❤️

“I actually found Bobo Izakaya through TikTok! While I was looking for new places to celebrate for a birthday dinner date, Bobo Izakaya intrigued me with their private tatami rooms and amazing prices. Though we opted against selecting the private room this go-round, I'm definitely looking forward to returning for the full experience as I haven't found many places in Metro ATL that have them.

The Chicken Tempura Udon was great and flavorful, and my date really enjoyed the Bobo Roll and Yellow Jacket roll, inspired by Georgia Tech of course. As it was his birthday, the restaurant truly made the night special by generously giving us our dessert (the Matcha Ice Cream) on the house.

The staff was super attentive throughout the night and the ambiance was truly unmatched, making it a special selection in North Druid Hills. I definitely recommend for a date night or low-key night out. Thanks to the Bobo Izakaya team!“

“This is my second time ordering from Bachi Box. The first time was a personal order and I got the streak, chicken and shrimp hibachi. Even though I ordered through Uber eats my food still arrived hot and delicious. Because of my great personal experience I decided for our office tailgate that I would have Bachi Box catered. Marco and his team went above and beyond to provide us with a great experience. This time we ordered the noodles with chicken and veggies, crab ragoons, sugar donuts and wings (lemon pepper, mala, and mild). Everything we ordered was 10/10. Our team’s favorites were the lemon pepper wings and the sugar donuts.

My only personal add would be for them to add a sweet and sour dipping sauce for the crab ragoons. And a more savory yum yum sauce instead of the sweeter yum yum sauce.Overall I can be a very picky eater and place a lot of value if the quality and taste of food. So if you are someone like me wondering if you are going to get your bang for your buck you most definitely will!!!“

One of my favorite touches happened before we even got on the bus. The staff took a photo of my son and me, and when I opened my tab at the end of the evening, they had included an AI-generated version of that photo showing us aged about 40 years. “Amazing sushi! I was nearby for a conference and discovered this place at the food hall in Colony Square. I wasn’t incredibly hungry and ordered the Sashimi sampler and miso soup. Both great! The sashimi sampler is a great choice when you can’t decide between which fish to order. My go-tos are yellowtail and tuna but man, the salmon was delicious and better than most places I’ve ordered salmon from. All the fish I had was super fresh! The staff was super friendly! Highly recommend this place!“
