“My fellow traveler and I stopped by on our way home to Virginia. It was a long day of travel, delayed flights, we just wanted to sit down and chill. We didn’t expect much out of an airport restaurant… But we were both blown away. Our server, Tarvis, was charming, professional, knowledgeable, and exceptional. The BLT with bacon jam, and the rice pudding with cinnamon and peaches was superb. (I could’ve eaten a whole jar of the bacon jam.) Tarvis, thank you for making two weary travelers leave your restaurant with pep in their step Keep on shining your light. And to any traveler who is leery of a place that serves a hamburger and a sushi roll… Fear not. This place is great.“

“Impeccable service and what a cute intimate spot. Not crowded at all on Friday night around 8:30/9p Our server was a true delight and his pleasant demeanor and energy added to our date night! My boyfriend and I enjoyed the eel and shrimp roll the best..the baked lobster was a bit more creamy than we would've liked but not horrible. I'm interested in trying the yellowtail, edamame and lychee martini next time.“

“Fantastic omakase experience! Nothing over the top. Very fantastic cuts and I didn't leave hungry, even with the standard omakase. Only really 1 item my wife wasn't a fan of, which is winning. The cocktails were amazing. Kudos to the bar program, because those flavors and presentations were top notch. We will definitely be back.“

“Omakase? More like Omaorgasm because that’s what it sounded like every time 8 adults was given the next course or dish. Every time we took a bite of whatever Yun gave us we closed our eyes and sat back in our chairs and started moaning. Hell I don’t think I’ve heard my wife moan that much before but then again I don’t think I’ve moan that much either. Needless to say we can’t wait to come back and try it again and again and again...Mmmmmmm oooooooooo mmmmmmm lol“
“I have been here twice now and can say this is just a really fun experience. If you enjoy craft cocktails, or just even something different than the usual fine dining scene GO! You will not regret it.
Onto the details! (without giving too much away). Prepare for like a tasting menu of cocktails. The times I have been there have been 4 cocktails, each paired with a bite of food, and an amuse-bouche. The experience is themed around a 70s-90s cult classic movie that rotates a couple times a year. So far I have been to Karate Kid and Pulp Fiction. They try to do everything they can to lean into the themes, which makes for some really fun drinks (and glasses).
It takes about an hour and a half and there are add-ons as well, I would always recommend the bump, and they probably will too. If you are a big drinker you can supplement with an additional craft cocktail, which are also delicious. If you are a light weight no worries, the standard menu will treat you just right.
The food bites are usually really good for what you would expect out of a taco joint in a bus... Think a mix between bar food and fine dining while trying to adhere to the theme. All together really good flavors and fun bites.
The service, atmosphere, food, and drinks are all top notch. It is just a really fun night, this spot makes for a great date night. Let loose, get into it, and have a great time.
Some tips:
It is two to a table, probably not the place to crowd in with 12 of your friends, although apparently the later serving can get rowdy.
Get the bump
Bring someone you feel comfortable sharing with
It is very red
If Tiger Sun actually reads this please add Tron to your theme list! I will be back“

“Tomo is where to go for elevated sushi. There are lots of good or ok sushi restaurants in Atlanta, but we like to go there when we want great sushi. We started our meal with black cod, served hot and eaten like a lettuce wrap. The sweetness from the fish was incredible. We had some seaweed salad to transition to the crab jalapeno, which was ready crabmeat rolled in cucumber, serves on a light green jalapeno sauce. Simple and delicious. The spicy tuna on rice cakes was my favorite, balancing flavor and crunch. The kampachi tartar was brilliant, with diced kampachi and pine nuts mixed together, topped with green fish eggs, and a flavorful foam to spoon on top. Wow!“

“Really good food and a pretty good price too. Though, one time we ordered food, then after ordering, we had an emergency we had to leave for. So, I let the staff know that we wanted that food to-go. They brought us twice the amount of food of the same order. One for dine in, and one for to-go and we got charged for both. Might've just been a miscommunication, but still.“

“There wasn't a single aspect of this experience that was not absolutely top tier. Easily one of the best dining experiences I've ever had! I forgot my waiters name, but he was excellent at his job and I even waited for him before we left to thank him for his service. Everything was worth it at this place for sure!“

“This is one of the best Japanese restaurants I've experienced, alongside Sushi Yoko. While Sushi Yoko offers dishes closer to Japanese home cooking, this restaurant provides a more authentic dining experience. Although some menu items don't quite meet expectations, many dishes deliver what are likely the highest quality offerings in Atlanta, which justifies the premium pricing.“

“The taste of the teppanyaki is really great. Especially after adding the delicious sauce, it's extremely tasty. The portion is very generous and it's really a good deal. One person can hardly finish it. The service is excellent. They greet you warmly every time you pass by.“
“Himitsu is hands down one of Atlanta’s best-kept secrets, and for good reason—it’s the perfect blend of sophistication, creativity, and atmosphere. The vibe is upscale yet unpretentious, making it the perfect spot for an intimate night out or a refined prelude to an evening in Buckhead.
Alex, one of the mixologists, is truly a master of his craft. Every cocktail feels like a work of art, balancing innovative techniques with a respect for classic flavors. Shoutout to Roderick and Brendan, whose hospitality and cool energy make every visit unforgettable. And let’s talk about the playlist—every track hits, setting the tone for a laid-back yet elevated experience.
Himitsu is one of those spots you almost don’t want to share—it’s that good. But it’s definitely worth the hype for those lucky enough to make it in. Just don’t forget: this is a place to bring your best vibes and your best company. Cheers to keeping the magic alive!“

“We ate here after seeing Cirque du Soleil nearby with our two kids, 10 & 11. The restaurant was clean, and comfortably decorated. I wasn't worried too much about having what amounts to a grill in the middle of our table with the kids. It's obviously hot, but it's not like you'll lose a hand if you get too close here and there. Service was great. Our server was Yuki. He was very attentive, and explained how it worked, and answered any questions. When our food arrived, Yuki told us exactly what each item was, and exactly how long to cook it per side. Not a cheap place to go, especially with kids, but a nice treat after an otherwise fun-filled day with other new first experiences.“

“Japanese with a Korean flair. Great prices + great quality + _extremely_ great service. Surprisingly, they’ve been a “near-kept secret” in Atlanta for nearly 50 years. (Since 1970?)We’ve been eating here & picking up more-and-more regularly for only the past 3 years.“

“This was an amazing experience! There was a cute red led entrance/hall that is perfect for photos while you wait to be sat. The restaurant is on the roof top with an amazing view of downtown Atlanta. Ask for Kenny when you get here! He took great care of the 5 of us! 10/10 experience!!!! Will be coming back. Experience was so great that we got a membership!!!“

“This was our first time ordering from this restaurant via EA and we get sushi at least once a week. We were beyond pleasantly surprised at the quality (sashimi especially) and the portions and even the packaging - the salmon special dinner came in a gift box. We plan to go in person next week to try the place out, super surprised to have found this place.“

“Wow! The new management/owners of Wasabi have made great changes. The food (especially the sushi) is delicious - everything was fresh and presented in a lovely way. The restaurant is bright and comfortable. The staff is efficient and the service is fast. We stopped in for a quick dinner and it was delicious and fast. It's still a great place for a relaxed dining experience, but the new team is really firing on all cylinders. Our server, Alex, was great. Highly recommend for a relaxed dining experience or a quick delicious dinner.“

“Employee was friendly, it took a bit longer than we initially expected to receive the our food. But they gave you a pager so you know when to come back to pick up your food. Food is but pricey, considering the portion. But they all tasted good. Will recommend this place!“

“Favorite place to eat. Would recommend going during a less busy time because when it's busy it seems the food isn't as good because they are rushing food out. Ex. I love the broccoli and chicken, but the broccoli has to be soft not hard. It's only hard when not cooked long enough..aka..rushing to go the buffet. But do love the food!“

“I went there today to try the food since I wanted to get some Chinese food and I haven’t been to north lake mall in a long time.
When I entered the lady in front waved at us to go to her. She is a very nice lady, patient and overall great customer service.
All the food was fresh, hot, and tasty. The portions and price of the food were very good too. I got Mongolian chicken which was very good, fried rice and greens beans as well which were also very good. She let me try the peach drink which was very refreshing and good.
I recommend if you’re in the area for some good Chinese food, please come support and try it!“
“They have catered for 2 of my events and have always been super professional and very reasonably priced. If we are talking about the food, their food is by far some of the best hibachi I’ve had in Atlanta. Their sauces especially the Diablo sauce are amazing !!!! Put Diablo sauce on your shrimp and chicken and thank me later!“

“The food at Ru San’s is inexpensive and plentiful. There are several dishes I really enjoy - the yellowtail jalapeño appetizer is yum, and I love the eggplant tempura. Age tofu hits the spot. The sushi is decent, and they offer quite a few sushi fusion options, as well as some bargain-priced 3-piece rolls. Like many Southern fusion Asian restaurants serving sushi rolls, the excess of sweet, sticky sauces drowning the delicate flavors of raw seafood is not appealing to me. But MOST people do like that, and I just ask for them to omit the sauce, which works well. This restaurant caters to its clientele, and the menu reflects that choice. Ru San’s will not be getting a Michelin star for sushi, but if you want that, there are at least 3 other restaurants in the A where you can find that. I keep coming back because it is easy, inexpensive, nearby, and generally tasty. Try it.“

“This place is located in the Hub food court. It is connected to Hyatt Regency & Marriott Marquis through the Skywalk. We came every night of our stay & it was always fresh & the staff was great. The Dream Crab and Peachtree rolls were our fave! We also had the Dragon roll, miso soup & the sesame chicken. The price was about $10 per roll. It is amazing & prices are great!! Closes at 7pm! Must visit when in Atlanta!“
“I recently dined at Avenue Kitchen and Bar, and overall it was a great experience. I ordered the Double Decker sushi roll ($22), which was fresh, flavorful, and delicious, while my friend had the chicken wings that were also very tasty. We were seated upstairs, which gave a nice view of the restaurant, though it would’ve been more convenient to have a bathroom on that level. The only real downside was that for large parties, the restaurant combines everything onto one check instead of allowing separate payments. Aside from that, the food and atmosphere were excellent.“

“We ordered last Saturday, late at night, and requested as special favor knowing that may not be possible: was my son’s birthday and I ordered a piece of cake and asked them that if they have a candle please include it. I honestly didn’t spect that was possible because of the time and you know, such a random request, but when the order arrived not only they sent a beautiful candle, they send another piece of cake (btw sooo delicious chocolate mouse cake) and with a very very nice handwritten message written on top of the box!
Food was great! Really good, but service… hats off!
Thanks, you made our night very special!“

“I like this place a lot. They have the most reasonable pricing for Chinese food lunch combinations. They also give you a good amount of food. I’ve been coming here for years as it’s not easy to find good Chinese food in Atlanta. The service was okay and I had to clean off the seat before I sat down. But, that didn’t take away from the delicious, made to order food that I look forward to when visiting this restaurant.“

“We've been making our way through Halidom Food Hall and tonight's new try was Wasabi Sushi & Ramen. It did not disappoint! All the dishes were beautifully presented. Unfortunately, we dug in before remembering to take pics, so please take that into account.
First, the staff was very welcoming, helped explain and recommend items, and said please and thank you, which I appreciate. A+ for service.
I had the steak hibachi and it was delicious - packed with steak and loads of mixed veggies. Salty, savory, sweet, soy goodness! Hubby and son split some California rolls and a tuna poke bowl, all were excellent. My son mentioned that the tuna bowl was loaded with fish. We also had some gyozas dumplings and they were super yummy too.
As for the price, it's a food hall, so let's be honest, they are never cheap. But considering the food and service were excellent, and I supported a family run business in my community - it was worth it and I'll be back.
Highly recommend!“

“This teriyaki joint is becoming one of my go to spots! Food is consistently good, fast service, reasonable price and well portioned. I get the chicken teriyaki with shrimp. I’ve gotten their tofu teriyaki and that is also bangin. It’s simple, they don’t have a big menu and don’t need one. Go for the teriyaki. If you have kids they have a very well priced kids teriyaki as well.“
