“The atmosphere at Late Air is exceptional. No matter the season, a chill in the air, or sweltering humidity, the ambiance is Hot and Chill! The wine is like no other in the region sourced from near and far. I am told that in most cases the wineries are visited by the owners and operators Madeline and Colin. This greatly adds to the mystic because if you are lucky enough to be there when they are (which is highly likely), they may tell you a heartfelt story of how that particular wine made its way to Savannah and your palette. The food pairings are of a level of sophistication yet approachable. The menu changes often so make certain to follow them in insta and FB for the current offerings. Cheers!“

“By far the best place we ate at in Savannah. 10/10 recommend.

We were walking back to our hotel and stumbled upon Joe & Vera’s. The sign out front said $1 oysters 12-2 and we immediately said yes! We visited Saturday 7/4/26 and the place was lively but not packed, we were able to grab a table in the front by their beautiful windows facing Broughton st.

Shorty and Josh greeted us with a delicious sample of the espresso martini and treated us wonderfully with incredible service the entire time we were there. We never felt like we were inconveniencing them with our requests or questions.

We ordered a dozen oysters (James River), caviar & chicharrones, the hot dog special, a glass of J. Laurens Blanquette de Limoux and a Mignonette Martini. Wow! Everything was phenomenal! Caleb, the chef, really knows what he’s doing and you can tell him and David, the bartender, collaborate on the menus. The oysters come with a perfectly balanced pink peppercorn mignonette which is also used in the martini (must try!!). I’ve never tried chicharrones and caviar together before but will definitely be pairing them again after this. The hotdog was by far the dark horse, we ordered it partly as a novelty as it was their special. Caleb designed it after a low country boil; pimento cheese slathered in the bottom of the buttered and toasted brioche bun, hotdog perfectly grilled and topped with shrimp, corn, red onions, peppers and steamed potato slices sandwiched between the dog and the bread. It. Was. Phenomenal. I’ll dream of that hotdog for days to come.

Caleb even took the time to come out of the kitchen and come over and say hello.

“Tucked away off abercorn is one of (if not) THEE, best burgers in Savannah. My only issue is how small the area is and you may have difficulty parking. French fries are THICC and crispy, burger is seasoned and cooked exceptionally. If I wasn’t bringing food home for my family I could’ve spent hours there sitting at the bar and enjoying myself. Laughed with strangers both bartenders were friendly food came out pretty quick. What an amazing hiding spot. I’m definitely coming back. Oh and the prices are good.“

“Here's the thing - the venue is fine, nothing glamourous or over the top. But what really makes this place stand out is Buck. He is the BRAND for this place. The whole atmosphere is different when Buck is working the bar. Never have I met a bartender with so much personality, and such a great vibe. Whenever I talk to anyone about my trip to Savannah, it will start, and maybe even end with Buck. We sought this place out after spending time at the Brass Coyote and having Buck serve us there. I would literally go back to Savannah just to hang out with him. And, as if his personality wasn't enough, he makes killer drinks and is very knowledgeable about whiskey.“

“If you're coming to Savannah, Planters Tavern is a MUST. Downstairs in The Olde Pink House, it has a vintage speakeasy/ old Tavern vibe but is cozy warm and inviting. Staff was fantastic and crafted cocktails superb, food is upscale and delicious. A 10 out of 10 for our late June '26 visit. We stayed next door at the Planters Inn, steps away.“

“Our group was out for Savannah PRIDE on Saturday evening, when we were followed and one of the young women in our group was sexually assaulted just up the block from this bar. There were 6 of us chasing the man, screaming and yelling and causing a ruckus. When the cops came and we finally stopped, Bobby and his cousin Dean’s wife (sorry I missed her name) were among only 3 people total who came out to check on us and offer help. After the police took the scum bag away, we went over to Abe’s on Lincoln where we were treated top notch, had some excellent, and very needed drinks, and were able to regain our composure in a safe and friendly environment. “Had the best time at Zunzi’s in Savannah! 🐾 What started as a dog-friendly TikTok tip turned into an absolute must-visit. Our pups devoured their pup cups, and the spike apple cider and nachos were simply perfect. Huge shoutout to Tara, Pais, Saleh, and Sienna, with Tara especially who lost track of time chatting with us and stayed past her shift (you know it’s good conversation when that happens 😄). “A good tiki style bar. They make creative twists on classic tiki cocktails. The bartenders are knowledgeable, and can help guide your selection to fit your pallette. If there is a tiki classic you want that is not on the menu, odds are that they can mix it up for you.
The rum selection is out of this world. They have an extensive collection of rums from all over the world. They represent all the various expressions of rum, from agricole, to solera, to funky high hogo and overproof rums.
This bar is a highlight for us when we visit Savannah. We love that they share the space with the oyster bar below. It makes for a great dinner downstairs then drinks upstairs experience.“

“The Green Room inside the Bardo Hotel is a great find. Stylish, relaxed atmosphere with bartenders who really know their craft. We ordered the Spy vs Spy with tequila, elderflower, and celery — creative and beautifully balanced — and also the verjus lemon and rosemary non-alcoholic drink, which was just as thoughtful and refreshing. Love that they put real care into their NA options too. Ideal for date night or a laid-back evening drink. We’ll definitely be back.“

“Amazing bar. Rachel is a top notch bartender. We really hope management takes her crown to heart and makes one for all the bar staff. We felt it really made Rachel stand out. The scepter bottle opener was also a really nice touch. She made us feel like royalty and everyone took very good care of us and worked together as an awesome team. Meridian was also wonderful. Even the shrimp had a wonderful flavor. My husband and son shard a gnocchi dish. They really liked it. I thought the atmosphere was perfect. We ate inside.
