“A convenient pre-show dinner with memories of a golden past. The food is nothing special, but it is moderately priced. We miss the original-original potpie with the veloute sauce, not the microwave white gravy substituted since Macys took over. My husband liked his turkey sandwich. Our server, Jesus, was very nice.“

During my morning visit, I witnessed supervisors openly yelling at the employees. It is uncomfortable as a customer to see a team that is clearly trying their best being treated so unprofessionally. “I go here once or twice a week for coffee and a little something to eat on my way to work. I love the new look of the Starbucks and I have to say the staff is always really nice to me. My wait time is no more than five minutes even though I’m busy mornings. They’re always asked me if I have a gift card one of them about to pay for my items and sometimes I have one on me and had forgotten to mention so being asked is a really helpful thing. I know other people have different things to say about the Starbucks, but my experience has been very positive.“

“The staff at this Starbucks is consistently friendly, professional, and hardworking. No matter how busy it gets, they are always pleasant and my order is almost always made correctly. The quality is remarkably consistent, which is why I keep coming back.

That said, this location has a serious capacity problem. During the morning rush, it's not unusual to wait 20 to 25 minutes for a coffee, even when using mobile ordering. The estimated pickup times in the app are often far too optimistic, and by the time you arrive, there can still be a significant wait.

To be clear, this doesn't seem to be a staff performance issue. If anything, the employees are doing the best they can under difficult circumstances. The problem is that there simply don't appear to be enough people working for the volume of customers this location serves. Whether it's hiring more staff, expanding the workspace, or finding another operational solution, something needs to change.

People are stopping in on their way to work and often need to be in and out quickly. The demand is clearly there, but the store seems overwhelmed during peak hours. Five stars for the staff and the consistency of the drinks, but management needs to address the staffing and workflow challenges that have become impossible to ignore.“

“It was a fine Sunday afternoon, skies were grey, clouds covered the sun. But didn’t cover the joy and excitement of our barista. She was the sun for today. Jacque was incredibly nice and helpful to us. She had recommendations for our drinks to make them better, advised us if the drink we were getting was going to be sweet or strong. Truly someone who enjoys her job and wants to make others day and I applaud her for that. Working in customer service is not for the weak. But someone like Jacque thrives in customer service and loves to elevate the experience for customers. Even wrote a funny note on me and my girlfriend’s drink lol. God bless her heart.“

“I looove this location. Shoutout to the entire staff, there are some names I don't know but I do always appreciate August and Kyle!! They are both so attentive and super kind. It's always a treat getting to see them when i can! This space is awesome, the team is STRONG especially when there are a bunch of coffee hours a week. They make coming to Starbucks fun and inviting always.

Be warned, during happy hour, it gets tight with all the people and also hectic. But please be patient because they're doing their best!

I especially want to recognize Samantha, Rachel, and Thema. Their kindness, professionalism, and genuine warmth did not go unnoticed. The hospitality they extended was above and beyond — attentive, patient, and delivered with such a positive attitude. It’s rare to experience that level of sincere customer care, and they absolutely deserve acknowledgment for it.
This team represents the brand beautifully. I will definitely be returning.

“My neighborhood Starbucks in Chicago is fantastic. The staff is not only friendly but also incredibly efficient. They even offer free pupuccinos for my dog, Micah the Messenger. They also have a nice outdoor seating area with plenty of tables and chairs, making it the perfect spot to enjoy a great cup of coffee while taking in the sights and sounds of the city.“

Their breakfast sandwiches are great. It is located inside Swedish Hospital, so there is some level of noise, but not too bad. I love getting my Green Tea Latte and other drinks here.“

“I had to bring my Latte from 33rd & Cicero Starbucks to this location because they tried twice to make it and failed! I explained my dilemma to Sam and she made it right! Using the sticker off the side of my cup, she remade my latte and it was PERFECT!!! She didn’t have to do it, but I want to say how much I appreciate she did. After I saw new Podiatrist, I had a cup of coffee at SBX at4015 N. Lincoln, with a delicious Biscotti Vanilla with roasted nuts.

“I would call myself a usual, reserve status was earned at this Starbucks haha. It’s very clean and well taken care of inside and the outside seating is also very nice! I used this location to get all of my studying done for undergrad, everyday for the entire year, I couldn’t recommend it more. Music isn’t too loud, workers are friendly and there’s usually other people working on their computers as well. Ash is such a kind worker, always asks about people’s days and loves making small talk at the drive-thru window and when picking up orders inside! “’ve been to this Starbucks more times than I can reasonably count, mostly because it’s my neighborhood location and incredibly convenient. It’s a great little stop for picking up an iced matcha on a hot summer afternoon.

The space itself is rather tight, but somehow they’ve miraculously managed to fit in a decent amount of seating without making it feel completely impossible to navigate. It’s not somewhere I’d necessarily camp out for an entire day, but it works very well as a small neighborhood Starbucks.

Most importantly, I religiously get a pup cup here and have never had to explain myself or answer twenty questions about it. Much appreciated by both customer and dog.
