“We're from out of town and stopped in for dinner after visiting a nearby museum and our pizza was delicious. The staff is extremely friendly and took excellent care of us. Cannoli we're great as well. We're over an hour away, but we will be back!”

“Their Kabuli Pulau is so good! The most tender and flavorful lamb leg in the chicago area. And their rice! Moist and perfectly seasoned.
Better than Kabobi, better than Kabul.
Service is good and they are attentive.
Atmosphere is calm, nice vibes to enjoy their cardamom tea after your meal.

“Food was fresh and delicious, tasted very authentic! We were a party of 5 that all ordered a different dish and all was very good. Restaurant itself is a bit plain but it’s modern, clean and friendly service which is more important. Ordered the baklava at the end and it is GREAT! Thank you!”

The mixed grill was flavorful and perfectly cooked,
And the real star of the meal was the eggplant fatteh ( try to order it in advance it’s freshly cooked) . The combination of flavors was simply outstanding, making it a dish I would highly recommend to anyone , homemade quality !”

“We have visited Cooper Hawks in Morton Grove several times, sometimes for drinks and appetizers and sometimes for dinner and drinks, we have never had a bad experience. Great food and drinks, but we have been able to experience the same waitress Lori P. She is the best great personality food and drinks fast…… she is totally awesome. “Jorge and his team, especially Josh, are the most welcoming, accommodating people. They truly love what they do and strive to make your day special. They made a cake for my husband's birthday on fairly short notice that was beautiful, better than expected, and delicious! The cream and fruit filling were fresh and not too sweet but honestly the actual cake itself, even though it was just vanilla, was so light and airy. I've never had cake like this! Definitely recommend supporting this wonderful business and will be back for more!”

“We had my sons second birthday party here and I would highly recommend to anyone who has enjoyed eating at Morettis. The catering and management team were very responsive, flexible, and excited for host our event. We had about 50 people and the staff was outstanding. Everyone loved the food. “My all time favorite sushi place! Owners are such incredible people who are working so hard and they have so many regular customers for a reason. If you haven’t tried this spot you really should.

My must haves are mussels and volcano roll but of course I always order another roll accompanied by miso soup. Sometimes if there is space and you want something sweet you should try mango maki.”

I met the owner of the restaurant the food is made fresh when you order we are coming back again next week Tuesday after my DR appointment. “I had a great experience at this restaurant! The Iranian food was delicious — the koobideh was juicy and flavorful, and the shawarma was perfectly seasoned. Everything tasted fresh and authentic. Definitely recommend it if you’re craving quality Middle Eastern and Persian dishes!”

“I like to say “good food makes a soul happy”. When I'm having a tough day, nothing satisfies like good food. I ordered a double smashburger through Uber Eats, and it arrived warm with crispy fries. Everything was packed neatly, which made me excited to dig in. The burger was fantastic!! soft, perfectly seasoned, and the smash sauce was great! Unlike other places that over-salt their burgers, this one was spot on. I’ve found my new go-to spot. The fries were also a good portion. I’ll definitely order from there again, as long as they keep the seasoning consistent bc too much salt can ruin a meal!”

“This was the second time I came here. The first time they didn’t have all of the food items. Now, you can have dinner and dessert at the same place. They only have one kiosk to order from. Most of the time they were in the back. The people are actually very nice but their customer service skills could use some work. When I asked for extra spoons, I didn’t receive any sarcastic or snide remarks. I ordered just an iced milk tea (Thai) with brown sugar jelly. The results are very decent, not the best. Price was fair. I had a sample of my partner’s bingsoo. They come in two different sizes, the cup one is for one person. The other one can be shared between 2-3 people. Fresh ingredients and good ice cream. They have tables and booths for groups and couples. Ample seating. They also have some props for taking pictures with.”

“No nonsense kind of a place. We had the buckwheat noodle , fried Mandu and bulgogi. The dishes tasted good but not outstanding.

Banchans were lack luster, the server was efficient.”

“My Mom and I were looking for a new (new to us) Chinese-American restaurant. Palace Cantonese surpassed all expectations. Every plate we had was delicious and food was hot. The service by Calvin was outstanding.

We entered the restaurant and were the only ones during this late lunch time. We sat in the comfortable and cozy booth (firm for what my back needs). Right away, Calvin brought delicious hot tea and water. The Fried Won Ton, which is hard to find without meat, was perfectly fried, not soggy. The cup of egg drop soup was a generous portion, more like a medium bowl. The veggie egg rolls were large and tasty. The Chicken Szechuan, was like a kung pao chicken and very flavorful. I loved the touch from Calvin bringing extra peanuts without us asking. He also asked if we needed more tea even though our steel carafe was half full. At similar restaurants, I’ve not seen that service.
The final touch was receiving 2 almond cookies (plus fortune cookies), which my Mom and I love.
It’s my new favorite restaurant which I will be patronizing every time I’m in Chicago.

“An excellent Chinese BBQ place run by a very friendly and knowledgeable couple. They really know the art of BBQ and everything is cooked and prepared to perfection. The BBQ chef there had been around for at least a decade back from before the current owners took over the shop.

The prices are very reasonable and the taste authentic. The best part is buying BBQ from here saves me the time and hassle of going to Chinatown.”

“We’ve been going to Dempster Fish for years and years, and it’s still our absolute favorite. It’s always super fresh, very well prepared, and it’s absolutely fantastic. We drive 90 minutes round trip just to have it. Better than any of the super expensive places in the suburbs. Very highly recommend!!”
