My boys like the mushroom and California rolls sushi while I enjoyed the spicy hot fish poke bowl a lot. The staff and owner were super friendly and nice. The place was stylish, neat and clean. “This place deserves 10 stars! The Sushi Sashimi Bento at Neta Sushi is fantastic with chef’s choice sushi and sashimi that melts in your mouth. The California roll and salad complete the meal perfectly. I also ordered the Truffle Yuzu Salmon, which had a beautiful balance of citrus and truffle flavor. The Wasabi Tuna roll with shrimp tempura and spicy tuna was bold and delicious. Amazing sushi spot in Park Ridge!“

“We ordered Bulgogi Kimbop, Crab Cream Cheese Roll, Teriyaki Salmon Roll, and Famous Fried Chicken with honey garlic sauce. Everything was very fresh and tasty. The bulgogi kimbop had a generous amount of fillings but I could have used more of whatever delicious sauce was on it. My kids (age 2 and 3) devoured the crab cream cheese roll and the salmon teriyaki roll was slightly sweet and smoky and delicious. The boneless chicken was great. It was so crunchy and perfectly cooked and drenched in the his sticky honey garlic sauce that I was licking out of the package. The man who was running the restaurant (and cooking and ringing up orders, one man show!) was really nice and super kind! The restaurant didn’t have too many tables but the ambiance and decor was super cute and it was not loud inside. I will be back when I’m in town next.“

My fiancé tried the pad thai with shrimp on one visit and the basil shrimp fried rice on another, and both dishes were full of flavor and so satisfying. Neko Sushi has quickly become one of our favorites. Everything we’ve tried has been consistently fresh and tasty. Oh and they are BYOB!“

Quaint intimate spot, tucked away on a quiet tree lined street in Ravenswood We had the Seared Tuna Salad, Dragon (spicy shrimp rolls), and the Krispy Spicy Crab roll. “My father and I were craving some Sushi that night. On the road, it was thundering and pouring outside. Absolutely hell to say the least, run inside this place and my god, you step inside, the atmosphere + the decor make the place look really authentic. Clean floors, clean tables, ample seating for friends and family. I was hyped to try something new.

The Owner named Susie sat both of us down, introduced the menu and said her recommdations, we took up the offer and got our plates. My god, the portions were a lot but food was out of this world. I can absolutely tell the fish are fresh here and not a day or two old. I espeically loved the soup with the fish and vegetables, both had a very good and savory combination too it. No Disappointments there.

Susie shared her story of her passion & love for making Sushi and told us opening this restaurant has been a big dream of hers. My father and I were touched by her amazing words and story, seeing how good the food was, we couldn’t help but to order some more food and leave a large tip for her gratitude.

This restaurant was absolutely fantastic, mind you, the Owner is always there to help out. I absolutely highly recommend coming to this restaurant, infact I would say, had to be the best sushi place I’ve been to in a long time. I will be absolutely coming back, hungry for more. “Ive been here before for the sushi and yakisoba and enjoyed it. This time I got the teriyaki beef half veg half rice bowl but wouldn’t really recommend. It came with 3 pieces of vegetables. The beef was a bit chewy with a piece or two of gristle, and it was kinda drowned in teriyaki sauce. Most everything else i had from here was good, just wasnt as big a fan of this.“

“The first time I ever visited Ruk, the owner was incredibly nice and offered many recommendations on things to do, sights to see, & places to go as I’m not local to the area. We chatted for a while and I enjoyed the cashew pad Thai I ordered with peanut sauce. Going back year after year, Ruk is a staple for dinner the night I arrive in the city. This way you don't have to commit to a large quantity of just a few vegetables. I like it because I don't like mushrooms but my partner loves them so he can get a many as he wants and I can get extra lotus root instead. I recently discovered an incredibly amazing sushi spot. It is easily one of the best I’ve ever been to. Everything is unbelievably fresh and full of flavor, and the sauces are absolutely amazing.

The staff is very friendly, and Justin, the owner, gave perfect menu recommendations. His culinary skill genuinely impressed me, and I can confidently say that from now on, this is the only place where I’ll be eating sushi.

I highly recommend the Angry Tuna Roll, Liger Roll, and Poke Nacho. Every single one was outstanding.
