“I've ordered Lou Malnati's through the mail long distance for a couple years for my birthday without ever having been to an actual location. So my expectations were pretty high when we found out we had a trip to Chicago. We booked these reservations immediately. Honestly, the pizza was better when I could cook it in my own oven and make it a little more crispy with bubbly golden cheese and crust. It tasted a little bland like it needed salt and could've been cooked longer. Otherwise we had a great experience. I will try a different place next time we are in Chicago.”

Although all of the servers are great, we always ask for Alex. Such an accommodating and kind server!”

Restaurant was empty so we didn't feel rushed to leave.”

I got something in a banana split container, but it was not a banana split. The second order was today and I ordered a Jamoca shake and it doesn’t taste like coffee even a little bit. It tasted like chocolate and there’s remnants of what seems like chocolate chunks mixed in. Very disappointing.”

First bite, you can tell immediately that this was made with a lot of love and care. It legit felt like a hug from my grandmother every bite. Every part of this sandwich, from the bread to the sauce, and even the meatballs, you can tell that no shortcuts were taken. It’s clearly an artisanal sandwich. By far one of the best meatball sandwiches I’ve had. Even talking with the owner you can tell that he’s proud of his product. His food speaks for itself. Can’t wait to try what else this place has to offer. Keep it up guys!”

“First time stopping at Bs Shrimp & Fish after driving by the area and seeing this new spot had opened up. I tried their shrimp, corn fritters, onion rings and spaghetti. Everything was bursting with flavor, the shrimp tasted very fresh. They make their own homemade sauces and what a bonus to find they carry other options like wings tenders, desserts, mac n cheese and much more. So glad to know we now have this jem in the neighborhood. I will be a returning customer for sure!”

The service is friendly, but it's a small operation here (usually 1 person answering the phone, taking orders, handing out orders, seating people, etc.) It's a mom and pop restaurant and I hope it survives and thrives, because this place is doing authentic Korean food right.”

“Love this spot, I’ve gotten the Ube Matcha twice (50% sugar) and it’s been amazing each time. Love the sealed cans it comes in, and the sweet treats are nice too but the drinks definitely shine. The manager took my call and commiserated with me a bit and suggested that I place my order directly with them via their website. Since I am just across the parking lot and can't leave my location (I was running out of time for my lunch), he graciously offered to run my order to me personally. JC showed up a matter of minutes later with my extremely tasty food and a smile!. I love their Lobster Bisque soup and mine was still nice and hot. Bonus... While on the website, I registered for the Cafe Zupas loyalty program and got a Free beverage! And, even though I have a discount on GH from my Amazon Prime account, my bill was nearly $8 cheaper! Overall, my experience today with Cafe Zupas Schaumburg has been stellar and I'll be ordering from them (directly, no more GrubHub) frequently and encouraging my coworkers and clients to do the same. Now where is that chocolate covered strawberry for my dessert. Yummy!”

“One word: wow! Turmerica brings authentic flavors and dishes that are often missed at other restaurants. The Misal Pav is a must try! It tastes just like the ones I have had in India, and I appreciate that they serve additional spicy chili oil to increase the spice per your level. The pav was very soft and the portion size was just right! I was also very impressed with the Solkadhi, which I had never had before. It was so delicious that I could probably drink several of those at once! The last thing I tried was the Khasta Kachori. My husband and I both really enjoyed it as a snack! They serve it with the chutneys and yogurt on the side you can add it according to your taste! I will definitely be back to try their other dishes like pau bhaji, wadapav, mango or chikoo milkshake, and the specialty desserts! Btw, they serve Jain food as well!”

“A Hidden Gem on Plum Grove and Higgins – A Must-Try!

We recently visited this charming restaurant located conveniently on Plum Grove Road and Higgins, with easy access from entrances on both sides of the building (formerly a McDonald’s). It was our first time dining here, and the experience was fantastic from the moment we stepped inside.

The staff greeted us warmly and made us feel right at home. When we mentioned it was our first visit, they went out of their way to explain the menu and highlight the house specialties. We started with chips and salsa, and what a treat! They served four varieties of salsa, each made fresh in-house. The flavors were unique and absolutely delicious—some of the best chips and salsa we've had in a while.

For our main dish, we opted for the fajita combo. The staff kindly asked how we preferred the steak, which we appreciated as it showed their attention to detail. When the sizzling fajitas arrived, they didn’t disappoint. The steak was perfectly cooked, tender, and bursting with flavor. The chicken was equally amazing—juicy, well-seasoned, and just as satisfying.

The tortillas were kept warm in a tortilla warmer, which was a nice touch and exactly how I like them served. The sides of rice and beans complemented the meal perfectly. The rice was light and flavorful, and the creamy refried beans rounded out the plate.

The location is just three miles from our house, which makes it even more appealing for a quick and satisfying meal. We can’t wait to come back and try more items from the menu. If you’re in the area, do yourself a favor and check this place out—you won’t regret it!”

a huachinango w/ the garlic spice sauce (topped with shrimps N onions) came with rice and salad. Overall was GOOOD - clean, chunky and tasty. Definitely would order again. A ceviche, pulpo con camaron (raw shrimp) - typical and went well with tostadas. Finally 4 pupusas, 2 chicharron and 2 loroco - masa was flavorful and they were big enough to get stuffed but tasty too!”
