“I come into this location very often, so often that nearly all staff know me by first name. The service, food, and environment alike are all wonderful. I’ve never been in for a drink/quick bite and felt unwelcome in any way! Come check this new indy Starbucks out ?“

“Peyton made my morning! I grab my 2.5 year old the same cake pop I always do, while running late to work, but today I apparently picked the wrong color ( typical 2 year old melt down loading…). Peyton was in the middle of making a drink on a busy morning, and noticed this all about to unfold. As I walk back to the register to get back in line to now get him a different cake pop, Peyton asked if everything was ok. I say ‘yes’… he was busy and I didn’t want to bother anyone with my child’s little tantrum. You could see on my face I was flustered since I’m already running late and just trying to get my 2yo out of Starbucks and on our way. So he asked again ‘are you sure? If you want me to grab you a different cake pop I would be more than happy to!’. Long story short he quickly grabs me a different flavor, and we leave happy with no meltdown. I know this seems like something so small to some, but you really don’t get that kind of customer service, or anybody to care about anything going on around them anymore… so it was a breathe of fresh air and GREATLY appreciated. Peyton, you’re amazing and I hope you know that this gesture made me switch my morning Starbucks run to your location every time ❤️“
“This Starbucks location is prime when it comes to convenience, and the service is always quick. I prefer to order through the app, which makes it super easy to get in and out immediately with a pre-order. The place is clean, and while there can be a lot of foot and car traffic, it all moves pretty quickly.
I don’t interact with the staff much, but whenever I do, they’re friendly and helpful. Great spot for a fast and efficient coffee run!“
“Stopped here on a roadtrip from Chicago, and was so pleasantly surprised! The 7am staff were SO nice, the drinks and food all came out in under 5 minutes (ordered 4 drinks and 4 food items) and the best part was that all the drinks were made perfectly!

“This is my favorite Starbucks in the area! They are always quick with their orders, even when it’s busy. Even though there isn’t a drive thru, it’s convenient with the back parking and in a great location. The service is also excellent.

My gingerbread chai tasted awful the barista behind the counter kept smelling the oatmilk, weird to I don’t think that’s very sanitary either. There was no foam or ginger on top it was like my drink order wasn’t even heard at first.
I asked for a remake but it seemed like it was an inconvenience for the barista in general.
The remake did taste extremely better and was the drink i ordered at first. Thank you for making it right !“
“My favorite Starbucks location! I've been a regular at this Starbucks for 15 or 20 years, as it's on my way to work. Today, I retired, and they remembered that it would be my last early morning visit. The staff there has always been phenomenal, very friendly, and well organized. “The entire staff was very friendly and precessional. Autumn was great.I purchased a travel tumbler. But when I walked to my car, filled with my coffee, the tumbler leaked badly. I took it back and Autumn helped me to find another one. Then, she made me another coffee in the new tumbler with a smile.“

I get not steaming enough milk but you should steam a short amount and add it instead of just handing it out. “It's not a bad place, but inside a Kroger , there is no sign for you on the outside of the store. Also, where i was staying that had up a pop-up sign to direct you that way and doesn't tell you where it is, just an arrow, no follow-up signs. And nowhere to park once you get to the store if you are just going for coffee.“

“This is my second day working at this Starbucks, and I have had a nice experience in general. What made me leave a review was that the staff comported themselves with such patience, kindness, and respect when dealing with an autistic customer. I was very impressed by all interactions they had with this very atypical customer. The barista even comp-ed his frappucino when he didn’t have enough money for his whole order rather than telling the customer that he would need to remove something from the order. Excellent “Respect for People!”

“Love the people here but for some reason they only had two shots of espresso to their Venti iced lattes compared to every other Starbucks that does three. I was waiting for my order when a male Karen, I’ll call him Keith, was upset about the sign that said “Back in 15!” and asked how long I’d been waiting and I guess he didn’t like my reply of “just a few minutes, I have a mobile order”. “I'm a professional athlete in indy nobody at Starbucks knew who I was they all treated me fair and I was using wifi bcuz minutes gone on phone I hate phones. “Sad to see low reviews here. I fly in and out of Indy a few times a year, usually catching a 6am flight and I am in line at Starbucks. The staff are diligent and work hard and fast. The line is full of extremely crabby, demanding passengers who are blaming staff for a long line, the fact that they had to get up and haven't had their first cup of caffeine, etc. Congrats ladies for having a good mood, working hard and not letting us passengers change your work ethic or attitude. Drinks are made well, right, fast and with great attitude.“

“I went here in between my studies to get myself a pick-me-up matcha. It was superr windy out, and somehow, as I was getting into my car, a gust of wind blew the matcha out of my hands and onto the ground😭 i went back in to buy another matcha and the baristas made me one on the house. “While visiting my son in Indianapolis we stopped at the Starbucks at 5550 north Lafayette road on the morning of 10/11/24. We have patroness many Starbucks around the country and would say this was some of the most diligent and friendly staff I have encountered. Mother’s Day Magic and a Barista Named Psalms
Let me tell you about the experience that touched my heart and lifted my spirit this Mother’s Day.
From the moment I pulled up, I was greeted by the most angelic voice I’ve ever heard at a drive-thru. Sweet, kind, and uplifting—her energy was radiant, and I instantly felt like today was going to be something special.
I placed my order for a white chocolate mocha (my go-to), and mentioned my usual frustration: Starbucks doesn’t always stir it well, and all the flavor settles at the bottom. She reassured me with the gentlest confidence and said, “Don’t worry, we’ve got an amazing barista on today—it’ll be stirred perfectly.” Her kindness was genuine, and her energy was contagious.
As I pulled up to the window, she greeted me again—and told me that the person in front of me had paid my entire $33 bill and wished me a Happy Mother’s Day.
Let me say that again: my entire bill was covered… and by this point, I was nearly in tears. Then I saw her. This voice that had warmed my soul had a face to match—beautiful, glowing, and full of light.
I asked her name, because I already knew I’d be writing this review. And y’all… her name is Psalms.
Like the Bible.
And suddenly, everything made sense.
Psalms 126:3 says:
“The Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy.”
That scripture couldn’t be more fitting, because in just one drive-thru trip, I received kindness, beauty, generosity, and a little taste of heaven.
To Starbucks: she’s a gem. Protect her, honor her, promote her.
To Psalms: you made my Mother’s Day feel like a blessing.
And to whoever paid my tab: you planted a seed of joy I’ll never forget.“
