“We went out for a date night today and visited J. Ford’s Steakhouse for the first time, and it absolutely lived up to the hype! The food was incredible, our steaks were cooked to perfection, tender, juicy, and literally melted in our mouths. The truffle fries with the honey jalapeño aioli were to die for, it was the perfect mix of savory, sweet, and a little kick of spice. Our drinks were excellent, and our waiter went above and beyond to make the evening special. Between the outstanding service and the amazing food, we left full, happy, and already planning our next visit. Highly recommend J. “I came in tonight with some friends and had such a wonderful experience. I sat in the lounge and ordered the lobster ravioli special. It was so yummy, the homemade ravioli was out of this world. My friends all loved their food and we all ordered the tiramisu and LOVED it. Our server was Sydney and she was so kind and helpful, got us refills without us asking and brought us so much bread. Wonderful experience, we are already planning our next visit.”

“I'd been to Mogger's once in grad school in '98, but outside of swinging in to pick someone up with car issues from there in the early noughties, hadn't been back to eat since. That I've lived up by Chicago most of the 21st century compounded my difficulties coming by. After seeing the mega cheeseburger ads on social media, I decided this winter break, it was time. The burger reminded me of those from a now defunct place back home called Riccardi's. Was quite lovely. As were the sweet potato waffle fries. The pop had a nice bite, too. I'm glad I made it and will try to eat here again before another 28 years pass.”

“This is a delivery review, so I cannot comment on the service or atmosphere.The food seemed like it would be very, very good had the dasher not driven around for roughly 35 minutes with my order! Worst dasher ever. But I can't ding the restaurant for that at all. It makes it very hard to review the food because it was all very cold except for the shake, which was very warm. But I will try.The "Feel the Burn Burger" could have used a bit more sauce, because it was pretty dry. That could have very well been because it arrived at room temperature, which causes even a saucy burger to dry up. I wouldn't say this burger had much of a "burn", as the name implies. But jalapeños for me aren't much hotter than a pablano pepper. Again, I believe more sauce would have made a difference here.The fries were cold and mushy, but they had very good flavor. They were just so cold they were simply inedible. I just know these were great fries at one point of their existence - what a shame. An interesting cut on the fries as well, which made these very unique fries.The Strawberry Cheesecake Milk Shake tasted really good, but it arrived at room temperature as well. Not overly sweet like other shakes I have tried. Made with really good strawberries too. But a melted shake is just - yuk.While posting this, I was thinking maybe this should be a 4 star review, simply because of the dry burger. But I just don't know. The dasher's terrible, sloth-like delivery speed leaves me feeling like I missed out on a really great meal. So I will give the full 5 stars simply for the thought of how much better this food once was. And the fact this place has only a 3.8 star review makes me feel that they deserve a much better rating than that, simply because I can tell they have great food here. I think this place is fairly new, and someone gave them a 1 star review, which I am certain is just a reviewer being a complete douchebag.I would definitely try this place again, hoping for a much better delivery person. If I were able to go to the restaurant, I'd love to try this place out in person. I bet the food is just amazing.”

“This is my favorite restaurant in Terre Haute. Every time my boyfriend and I go, we try something new and we are never disappointed! The staff is so friendly and the atmosphere is great. I love the features they have to make it feel like more of an experience of Himalayan & Indian culture. So far we have had the lamp biryani, chicken tikka masala, butter chicken, lamb dopyaza, Spicy chili momo, yak momo, mixed tandoori grill and we tried the boba Thai tea today. Everything arrives to your table with incredible aromas and amazing flavor. Our staples for every meal are the vegetable samosas and the garlic naan. So yummy! You won’t regret giving this place a try.”

“Bear’s is a great locally owned small business and woman owned as well. I love the fun monthly themed and seasonal menus they come out with, the community events they put on and are a part of, and the delicious coffee and energy drinks they have! My favorites have been the LuvBug Dirty Alani they had in February for Valentine’s Day, and now I’ve been obsessed with one of the daily picks the owner posted a while back that interested me- A chocolate and popcorn cold brew with vanilla salt cold foam and marshmallow drizzle. Absolutely delicious and a good mix of sweet, salty, and strong coffee. Their social media posts are great and I love to check out the barista picks they post in the store and online. Great atmosphere and very welcoming staff!”

“We come every Friday to dine inside for lunch. Mark is the dining room attendant and he is phenomenal. He cares so much about the cleanliness of the room and all the customers. He’s always on top of it- cleaning and asking what he can do for you, such as more salad dressing or drink refills. We love Mark!”

“2/19/26 I went in sharks.I ordered a simple 6 large shrimp and a pop. I sat and wait for the process. I noticed one of the cooks come from the kitchen and ate out of the french fry basket.I figured the fries were old or they didn't serve them. No big deal. My order came up, the same guy now takes the basket of fries he ate out of with no hair net, no gloves, grab the fresh fries coming up from the fryer mixed them with the old while I was watching..I just asked for a refund. The cook acted like it was no big deal ! I told him he must do this very often because it was so openly done. I'd rather have a refund, i choose not to eat where disrespect is served.”

“My wife and I stopped by this Culver's location while traveling home to Oklahoma from a visit to Ohio..

We opted to share a Bacon Deluxe Double without pickles or onions and a side of fries.. Aside from the burger having both pickles and onions despite omitting them while ordering, our visit and experience was great..

After dispatching the unwanted veggies with a fork, we found the burger to be fresh with a great flavor and just the right amount of shredded lettuce, mayo, and tomato for our liking..

The fries were delivered hot and fresh, too.. The portion size was great and since we were sharing, offered each of us more than enough..

The associates we encountered were wonderfully friendly and polite, the store was clean and well maintained, and we witnessed associates holding door for customers during our entry and exit from the store..

All in all, this was a great Culver's experience.. We look forward to occasional Culver's stops while traveling and this one delivered great results!!”

“As someone who practically lives in Cunningham Library, Cup & Chaucer is my absolute go-to. It’s so convenient to have such a cozy spot right inside the Cunningham Library. It’s the perfect, quiet sanctuary for anyone who needs a cozy atmosphere to recharge. They even have board games if you need a quick brain break!

The Go-To: You can’t go wrong with the sausage, egg, and cheese breakfast quesadilla. It’s savory, filling, and always prepared with such care.

The sips: They serve Starbucks coffee (with some limitations). My personal favorites are the Iced White Chocolate Mocha and the Iced Chai Latte. When autumn hits, their Pumpkin Spice Latte is a must.

A helpful tip for newcomers: The menu displayed on the TV can be a bit outdated and includes items (both Starbucks and non-Starbucks) that aren't currently available. To avoid disappointment, I’ve learned to always ask if a drink is in stock before ordering! The absolute best part of this cafe is the service. The lady who works here is incredibly sweet and friendly. You can really tell she cares about the quality of what she serves, and her kindness makes those long study sessions so much brighter.”

Last night I sent my husband around 9 to get our late dinner. I ordered a beef and cheddar and fries and also a roast beef kids meal for our son. My large fry to share with the other child was clearly shorted. I tried one fry before taking a picture of it and the fries were cold and nasty. Luckily I saved them by putting them in the oven. My sandwich was also cold (we only live about 10 mins away ) I thought maybe it was close to closing and that’s why they decided to be lazy and not cook fresh fries but after looking it up, I saw that the business doesn’t close until 11?!”
