“We went out for a date night today and visited J. Ford’s Steakhouse for the first time, and it absolutely lived up to the hype! The food was incredible, our steaks were cooked to perfection, tender, juicy, and literally melted in our mouths. The truffle fries with the honey jalapeño aioli were to die for, it was the perfect mix of savory, sweet, and a little kick of spice. Our drinks were excellent, and our waiter went above and beyond to make the evening special. Between the outstanding service and the amazing food, we left full, happy, and already planning our next visit. Highly recommend J. Ford’s Steakhouse if you’re looking for a top-notch dining experience!”

“I'd been to Mogger's once in grad school in '98, but outside of swinging in to pick someone up with car issues from there in the early noughties, hadn't been back to eat since. That I've lived up by Chicago most of the 21st century compounded my difficulties coming by. After seeing the mega cheeseburger ads on social media, I decided this winter break, it was time. The burger reminded me of those from a now defunct place back home called Riccardi's. Was quite lovely. As were the sweet potato waffle fries. The pop had a nice bite, too. I'm glad I made it and will try to eat here again before another 28 years pass.”

“Traveling and wanted a good meal and got more than that at this longhorn! The service was great from start to finish(shoutout to Jorry). I have celiac disease and he was right there with answers and helped me have a safe dinning experience! The food was incredible from the taste, the cook and the sides! I got the ribeye which came out a perfect medium rare(plus) with a baked sweet potatoe and a strawberry salad that had grapes and mandarin oranges that was so light and refreshing, I would go back just for that. Hubs got the T-bone which also came out a perfect medium rare also with a baked sweet potato and we shared the asparagus and roasted mushrooms. Chefs kiss and absolutely zero complaints about this location!”

Our meal was really good too, with our Asian salad crisp, and light. We followed that up with chocolate cake (at Jacob’s suggestion) and it was good enough that we forgive him for all the extra calories. :) Overall a great experience!”

“A friend suggested we order from Noble Roman’s and am I ever glad we did! We placed an online order for curbside delivery. The online ordering process was easy to facilitate and allowed specific ingredient editing. When I arrived, it was pouring down rain and the staff members were such great sports about delivering to my car, even in the rain. We ordered the BBQ and Alfredo Chicken pizzas, both deep dish as well as an order of breadsticks. The pizza was amazing! The breadsticks were just as great as those I remember ordering while living in a dorm on Purdue’s campus nearly 40 years ago. We will definitely be returning!”

“This is a delivery review, so I cannot comment on the service or atmosphere.The food seemed like it would be very, very good had the dasher not driven around for roughly 35 minutes with my order! Worst dasher ever. But I can't ding the restaurant for that at all. It makes it very hard to review the food because it was all very cold except for the shake, which was very warm. But I will try.The "Feel the Burn Burger" could have used a bit more sauce, because it was pretty dry. That could have very well been because it arrived at room temperature, which causes even a saucy burger to dry up. I wouldn't say this burger had much of a "burn", as the name implies. But jalapeños for me aren't much hotter than a pablano pepper. Again, I believe more sauce would have made a difference here.The fries were cold and mushy, but they had very good flavor. They were just so cold they were simply inedible. I just know these were great fries at one point of their existence - what a shame. An interesting cut on the fries as well, which made these very unique fries.The Strawberry Cheesecake Milk Shake tasted really good, but it arrived at room temperature as well. Not overly sweet like other shakes I have tried. Made with really good strawberries too. But a melted shake is just - yuk.While posting this, I was thinking maybe this should be a 4 star review, simply because of the dry burger. But I just don't know. The dasher's terrible, sloth-like delivery speed leaves me feeling like I missed out on a really great meal. So I will give the full 5 stars simply for the thought of how much better this food once was. And the fact this place has only a 3.8 star review makes me feel that they deserve a much better rating than that, simply because I can tell they have great food here. I think this place is fairly new, and someone gave them a 1 star review, which I am certain is just a reviewer being a complete douchebag.I would definitely try this place again, hoping for a much better delivery person. If I were able to go to the restaurant, I'd love to try this place out in person. I bet the food is just amazing.”

My personal favorite lineups of food are the jammin meals, like the jammin turkey and jammin onion and egg burger, the mixture of sweet bacon jam with a savory flavors of the meat, cheeze, bacon and other flavorful condiments adds another layer of mouth water inducing bizarre American and Bosnian foods. The best part about Babos is their courtesy and friendliness, their willingness to provide their customers with an endearing experience makes family restaurants like these that much more special, I would always recommend anyone to stop by this place to get some dam good grub.”

“This is my favorite restaurant in Terre Haute. Every time my boyfriend and I go, we try something new and we are never disappointed! The staff is so friendly and the atmosphere is great. I love the features they have to make it feel like more of an experience of Himalayan & Indian culture. So far we have had the lamp biryani, chicken tikka masala, butter chicken, lamb dopyaza, Spicy chili momo, yak momo, mixed tandoori grill and we tried the boba Thai tea today. Everything arrives to your table with incredible aromas and amazing flavor. Our staples for every meal are the vegetable samosas and the garlic naan. So yummy! You won’t regret giving this place a try.”

The yellow curry had the perfect level of spice and incredible flavor, the Tweety sliders were a hit, and the Manhattan was smooth and well balanced. Our favorite by far was the marinara & goat cheese - perfectly toasted, buttery bread with rich tomato marinara and creamy goat cheese. Got one of the rice bowls and let me tell ya, that thing was HEAVY, in a good way of course! So we had a rice bowl that was LOADED and a burrito. As you can see from the photos I posted here, it was filled and I think worth it! The staff was very understanding and walked me through all the options and what everything was and man was everything so fresh. Now Jack was the best! This is what a manager should be like! Courteous, professional, friendly and just all around a great guy! They chose well with this guy here. I will be returning for the food, atmosphere and the people! “2/19/26 I went in sharks.I ordered a simple 6 large shrimp and a pop. I sat and wait for the process. I noticed one of the cooks come from the kitchen and ate out of the french fry basket.I figured the fries were old or they didn't serve them. No big deal. My order came up, the same guy now takes the basket of fries he ate out of with no hair net, no gloves, grab the fresh fries coming up from the fryer mixed them with the old while I was watching..I just asked for a refund. The cook acted like it was no big deal ! I told him he must do this very often because it was so openly done. I'd rather have a refund, i choose not to eat where disrespect is served.”

I waited up front for 10 or more minutes. I knocked on the employee door and said hello multiple times and no one came out. The guy finally came out and he just said ‘I know’ when I said I waited 10 plus minutes for anyone to take our order. The shakes were good but I should have just left and not ordered after that service. If you’d like to have someone there to take your order and you not have to call, text, knock, yell and basically hunt them down then don’t go here.”

Vegetarian options: They do have vegan and/or vegetarian options all the time. Best place for the people who eat vegetarian.

Kid-friendliness: Best place even for the kids.

Parking: They've got a huge parking lot. So no worries about parking your car or truck.

Wheelchair accessibility: They do have wheelchair accessible entry/exit.”

“As someone who practically lives in Cunningham Library, Cup & Chaucer is my absolute go-to. It’s so convenient to have such a cozy spot right inside the Cunningham Library. It’s the perfect, quiet sanctuary for anyone who needs a cozy atmosphere to recharge. They even have board games if you need a quick brain break!

The Go-To: You can’t go wrong with the sausage, egg, and cheese breakfast quesadilla. It’s savory, filling, and always prepared with such care.

The sips: They serve Starbucks coffee (with some limitations). My personal favorites are the Iced White Chocolate Mocha and the Iced Chai Latte. When autumn hits, their Pumpkin Spice Latte is a must.

A helpful tip for newcomers: The menu displayed on the TV can be a bit outdated and includes items (both Starbucks and non-Starbucks) that aren't currently available. To avoid disappointment, I’ve learned to always ask if a drink is in stock before ordering! The absolute best part of this cafe is the service. The lady who works here is incredibly sweet and friendly. You can really tell she cares about the quality of what she serves, and her kindness makes those long study sessions so much brighter.”
