“We have been to Toro twice now in the last week. We loved it the first time. My husband had the burger of the day and I had the ceviche and they were both quite good. The margarita we both had was also very good. We went back the second time and my husband had the Chef's special. It was great! I had the seafood paella and it was just OK. It was very overdone and the mussels on top were so overdone that there was no mussel left. It was totally dried up and no mussel was there. There were five or six and they were all like that. The calamari and other fish in the rice were also very overdone and the rice itself was too done also. The shrimp on top were cooked separately and just right. The dish was also so spicy that after a few bites I could taste little other than spice. I was disappointed in it as everything else was so good. We will for sure be back, but won't have the paella again. I feel like this could be a great restaurant with a bit more skill by the chef, but is very good as is. The people we have had as servers have been excellent.”

“Had Gerard’s for the first time on Wednesday and will definitely be back! Our waitress was so kind and prompt, the food was delicious, and the owner was incredibly nice. We had excellent service, a great lunch, and a tour of the new bar area. Best restaurant experience we’ve had in years!”

“We dined at The Bistro Thursday 12-2-2022. We sat at the bar which we found to be warm and cozy . Our server was Kelan . Kelan was our bartender, waiter, and food advisor. Kelan was spot on with his recommendations . We found the wedge and Caesar salads to be delicious. The chicken piccata was superb as was black grouper. The dessert, chocolate Bailey’s mousse cake was mouth watering! Kelan’s service, efficiency , and friendliness were a delight to experience . Thanks to Kelan! Dick and Sue”

“This place is extraordinary. The staff is always ready to help, the premises are extremely clean, the atmosphere is lovely, and the food is both delicious and beautifully presented. We chose to seat at Micki's, the bar, that has the same menu of the restaurant with a cozy Louisiana style. We became regulars on Friday nights out and we're planning to try each time a different course of the exquisite menu.”

“Is this the last Godfather’s pizza in the world? They used to be all over the place. In fact, I worked at a Godfather’s while in high school, and then after I got out of the Navy. I loved their pizza.
I wasn’t really that hungry, but when I saw the sign on the freeway telling me that there was a Godfather’s at the next exit…well, one needn’t twist my arm. I took that exit.
I was disappointed that it was just some kind of express Godfather’s inside a gas station/convenience store. There was a heater case with mini pizzas ready-to-eat. I grabbed a sausage one and ate it in my car in the parking lot.
Godfather’s may not be the best pizza in the world, but there is no other place that has a sauce and a crust that tastes like that. Very distinctive and it brought back good memories. I got back on the road to Nashville with a full belly and happiness.”

“I sometimes eat here at the cafe in the morning for breakfast. It is an awesome buffet in the morning and always great food. Staff is always warm and friendly. I would recommend this to anyone either staying at the hotel, or just wanting to enjoy a great breakfast buffet. Just remember when the hotel is full to realize there will be a wait, but most other times you can get set pretty easily. So, for sure check this place out!”

“After 4 years in Bowling Green, whereby either perpetual car issues or my frail health posed tremendous challenges in terms of experiencing "life" - much less restaurants - it was "fun" to finally experience Chaney's Dairy Barn recently. As you can see from my photos, it's a fairly massive structure filled with all sorts of souvenirs, unique food items, dairy themed merchandise -- and oddly enough, some Boars Head products which seemed sorely out of place amidst so many unique offerings. After pursuing the menu, I chose a single scoop cup of Kentucky Whiskey ice cream that was infused with what appeared to be chocolate and some far too coarsely chopped vanilla wafers. Though the ice cream was exceptionally creamy, it was so sweet the only thing I could taste was sugar and the crudely prepped chunks of vanilla wafers -- so much so, I tossed it in the trash after a couple spoonfuls. And yes, I know this is an unpopular opinion; it's nonetheless my experience and somewhat of a disappointment to say the least. And I don't recommend unless you are a tourist with kids based upon my experience.”

“Major kudos to the true blue crew at this location. My friends and I were starving to death after canoe camping in mammoth cave national park and only one thing could satiate us - the butter burger. We looked at the online menu to peruse our options and quickly became drunk with power - so many options and mods! We made a lot of mods and the blue crew got every single one of them correct with lightning fast service. The group online ordering feature surprisingly works great!

I highly recommend the cheese curds with marinara and chocolate shake - ya can’t mess with the classics! Also, gluten free buns are available for our friends with tummy troubles - amazing! Thank you for making our dinner dreams come true.”

“Tonight we played in Barren County. On the way home, I took the girls to Chick-fil-A in Bowling Green, KY, to grab some food. Let me just say — the workers at the Chick-fil-A on Scottsville Road tonight were absolutely amazing! Great service, great attitudes, and awesome personalities. You don’t get that at most restaurants, especially when a big group walks in about 45 minutes before closing. I applaud them tremendously! They had a great team lead as well. “My husband and I tried Sam’s Gyros for the first time this week, a very nice find. The lamb was very tender and good as well as the rice. The salad was delicious with the taziki (sp) sauce. They give very generous portions. My husband, who normally doesn’t care for this type of food, loved it and said he wants to go back again. We’re looking forward to our next trip there.”

“Topper social is by far the best bar in bowling green. My friends and I go here all the time and always have a great time. It is so convenient to where we live we can just walk right over whenever and the atmosphere is amazing. Along with the food and drinks being top tier and reasonably priced!”

“I came through Tuesday 3/3/2026 in the AM. There was a woman in a jeep in front of me going off on a little girl no older than 17. The girl was so sweet about the situation despite the rude customer in front of me. She handled whatever situation it was with the upmost respect. I was about to get out of my car and say something to the customer. I pulled up and asked the girls name. Her name is Mallory and she was SO SWEET.

Drinks were awesome. I have never been to this location, but I’ll be back!”

“My wife and I always order a hot beverage for her and a chiller for myself. We are both a little particular about our coffees. They do not disappoint. Hers is always tasty and just the right temp. My chillers are always blended well with absolutely no ice chunks like you typically find in these types of drinks. They are always tasty as well with rich full flavor. The staff are always friendly and ask how your day was/is going. Wait times are minimal, reminiscent to a Chic fil A style drive thru. Seven Brew is always my favorite go to coffee stop.”

“231 bar is one of those places where you see it and think, this could be terrible or the one if the best places in town. It's the later. Stop in on a Fri or weekend night and get some of the smoked ribs, you'll be glad you did. The burgers are also cooked and seasoned fantastically. The fries look strange but they are strangely some of the best fries we have ever had. Crisp on the out side, soft in the middle, light seasoning... They are like sliced up JoJos and fried to perfection. The wings are absolutely fantastic, the bourbon glaze? Forget about it. The staff are warm and welcoming and fun, it's where the locals go and it's where you should be as well.”

“We've been using Fuel as our primary source of nutrition for over a year now. The meals are always excellent with great flavor and variety. We haven't gotten bored yet with the selection. The staff is always friendly and willing to answer questions for us when we have them. Anytime we have a call in order, it's always ready on time when we arrive for pickup. It's hard to find good helpful staff and great food anywhere anymore and Fuel has managed to aquire both.”

“Was driving through the area, and this quaint little place caught my eye. It wasn’t super busy, so my family and I decided to check it out, and we are glad we did. Family of 6 was sat immediately, and we ordered the Vegetable Tempura and Shrimp Tempura. Both were fresh, decadent, and piping hot. Alongside this we received a delicious broth soup, which was definitely nice after the cold day.

Our sushi came out fast, and one bite in, we ordered more rolls. They have different platters and even a sushi boat, so we ordered the basic platter along with an Alaskan, 2 Californias, and 2 Caterpillars, as well as a Tiger roll. Incredible. The servers were kind and knowledgeable about the rolls, and the chef was so sweet. If you’re driving by, it’s definitely worth the stop.”

“Amongst the endless challenges that living as a disabled invalid for the past year has posed, getting solid nutrition has been *major* - and I'm so grateful to the Facebook friend who took it upon herself to treat me to The 30 Bird delivery last month! Since she handled everything including the menu selection, I don't know anything about the pricing or what other items are available but I can tell you that everything I tasted was fresh, delicious - and vegetarian (if not vegan). Though I'm not a huge fan of kale, the sweet and tangy kale salad with feta was outstanding. I also enjoyed the vegan chickpea salad with grapes and walnuts which was reminiscent of the chicken salad with grapes that's so popular these days ... Because I get full after a few bites of food, I tried the 3rd dish, a high protein plant-based Buddha bowl, the next day ... Though it was a tad bland for my "Carolina Reaper palate," adding some of my Jamaican Scotch Bonnet pepper sauce & a lil vinegar amped it up to 5 stars. 🔥 Since it was gonna take me at least another day just to finish the salads and ole Buddha, I froze the mixed fruit and brownies for future enjoyment ... And again, though I never saw a menu, based upon everything I tried, I most def recommend The 30 Bird -- especially if you're looking to eat more healthfully or are vegetarian or vegan. 🥰”

March and April were really hard on retailers and restaurants due to gas prices and the war. This restaurant posted a lot about their struggles so I wanted to go try it out. Dad and I got the 2 hot dog, drink and side combo and added a drink. The price wasn't bad. I got the Chicago dog which was really good. Dad got the Texas Rattler dog. He really enjoyed that. The soft drink machine was done was we about 12 bottles drinks to choose from and got root beer. The side we got was the cheesy bacon fries. The food was good. Exactly what I would expect of a hot dog joint. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the joint was empty but the section of the bar we chose to sit at was dirty with onions stuck to it, the napkin holder at our table was empty and the staff was simply fine. As someone who had been in customer service since I was 17, if your company is struggling, there are two things that should ALWAYS be exceptional and that's the customer service engagement and the cleanliness. I would love to see this place thrive. Go give them a try!”

Was also told there was no manager. This person was not a server. She took our order. Waitress came out and said no English muffins for the Benedict. I said to make it a biscuit instead on the side. 27 minutes since we placed our order. If the food isn't here in 3 minutes, we are leaving. She had 45 seconds to spare. Not happy. the best part was the hash browns. Nice and crispy. The eggs Benedict was sorry. No English muffins. Asked for biscuit on the side. Nope. egg, spinach, pesto tomatoes, etc., right on top. the Hollandaise sauce was watery, thin, but tasted pretty good. Discovered the manager was walking out the door when our order was put in. The cook also decided to quit at that same time, so the manager had to come back in and cook our order. Guess that's why the Hollandaise sauce quality failed. Oh, well. We lost over an hour on the road for all this drama. Again, oh, we'll. we'll be home sometime tomorrow, and we never have to go there again.”
