“My wife and I are from Massillon Ohio. We happened to be in Bowling Green Kentucky and found this place on a Tuesday evening. It was one of the greatest food finds of our lives. Great food, great atmosphere, great service and even great advice from an experience owner to help us in the beginning phase of our ownership journey! Love this place, will be back.”

“We have been to Toro twice now in the last week. We loved it the first time. My husband had the burger of the day and I had the ceviche and they were both quite good. The margarita we both had was also very good. We went back the second time and my husband had the Chef's special. It was great! I had the seafood paella and it was just OK. It was very overdone and the mussels on top were so overdone that there was no mussel left. It was totally dried up and no mussel was there. There were five or six and they were all like that. The calamari and other fish in the rice were also very overdone and the rice itself was too done also. The shrimp on top were cooked separately and just right. The dish was also so spicy that after a few bites I could taste little other than spice. I was disappointed in it as everything else was so good. We will for sure be back, but won't have the paella again. I feel like this could be a great restaurant with a bit more skill by the chef, but is very good as is. The people we have had as servers have been excellent.”

“Had Gerard’s for the first time on Wednesday and will definitely be back! Our waitress was so kind and prompt, the food was delicious, and the owner was incredibly nice. We had excellent service, a great lunch, and a tour of the new bar area. Best restaurant experience we’ve had in years!”

“We dined at The Bistro Thursday 12-2-2022. We sat at the bar which we found to be warm and cozy . Our server was Kelan . Kelan was our bartender, waiter, and food advisor. Kelan was spot on with his recommendations . We found the wedge and Caesar salads to be delicious. The chicken piccata was superb as was black grouper. “Ok, usually I do not like sushi. I have tried it at several places. Yes I keep trying it. My son likes shushi so we ordered Longhorn and Chop Chop I was so suprised I loved both of them. If you are traveling around Bowling Green, KY it's worth the trip.”

“We've been using Fuel as our primary source of nutrition for over a year now. The meals are always excellent with great flavor and variety. We haven't gotten bored yet with the selection. The staff is always friendly and willing to answer questions for us when we have them. Anytime we have a call in order, it's always ready on time when we arrive for pickup. It's hard to find good helpful staff and great food anywhere anymore and Fuel has managed to aquire both.”

“I sometimes eat here at the cafe in the morning for breakfast. It is an awesome buffet in the morning and always great food. Staff is always warm and friendly. I would recommend this to anyone either staying at the hotel, or just wanting to enjoy a great breakfast buffet. Just remember when the hotel is full to realize there will be a wait, but most other times you can get set pretty easily. So, for sure check this place out!”

But I just tried Meltdown for the first time after hearing about a local ice cream shop in town, and I absolutely love supporting local. But I gotta say, for a milkshake, particularly the cookies n cream shake, it was an excellent milkshake. Blended to perfection so as to not be too thin or too thick. And whatever ice cream they use, it has a great taste. I will definitely be frequenting this place for my summer sweet tooth cravings”

“Tonight we played in Barren County. On the way home, I took the girls to Chick-fil-A in Bowling Green, KY, to grab some food. Let me just say — the workers at the Chick-fil-A on Scottsville Road tonight were absolutely amazing! Great service, great attitudes, and awesome personalities. You don’t get that at most restaurants, especially when a big group walks in about 45 minutes before closing. I applaud them tremendously! They had a great team lead as well. “We had never tried Culver's before and were looking for something easy and quick. The order process was easy, place the order, go sit down, someone will deliver your order to your table. All of our food was hot and tasty. Portion sizes were also reasonable. The patty melts were delicious, my hamburger and fries were good. The onion rings were also good and almost too hot to eat initially. I did have a cement mixer on the way out ... I / we (4) will be back for more.”

Best burger I've had in a long time, got the bistro burger. little bummed there's no kid menu but we made it work. my Fiance got the Henry Bain burger and she loved it as well. I added a little bit of spice, but not too much. The prices were decent and not too expensive. Service was a little iffy, not sure if it’s just the younger crowd as they were not very attentive at refills but were nice. Otherwise, we will be back in three or four months, may try some other dishes.”

“Amongst the endless challenges that living as a disabled invalid for the past year has posed, getting solid nutrition has been *major* - and I'm so grateful to the Facebook friend who took it upon herself to treat me to The 30 Bird delivery last month! Since she handled everything including the menu selection, I don't know anything about the pricing or what other items are available but I can tell you that everything I tasted was fresh, delicious - and vegetarian (if not vegan). Though I'm not a huge fan of kale, the sweet and tangy kale salad with feta was outstanding. I also enjoyed the vegan chickpea salad with grapes and walnuts which was reminiscent of the chicken salad with grapes that's so popular these days ... Because I get full after a few bites of food, I tried the 3rd dish, a high protein plant-based Buddha bowl, the next day ... Though it was a tad bland for my "Carolina Reaper palate," adding some of my Jamaican Scotch Bonnet pepper sauce & a lil vinegar amped it up to 5 stars. 🔥 Since it was gonna take me at least another day just to finish the salads and ole Buddha, I froze the mixed fruit and brownies for future enjoyment ... And again, though I never saw a menu, based upon everything I tried, I most def recommend The 30 Bird -- especially if you're looking to eat more healthfully or are vegetarian or vegan. 🥰”

You don’t get that at most restaurants, especially when a big group walks in about 45 minutes before closing. I applaud them tremendously! They had a great team lead as well. “It has a renovated appearance so it has a more modern vibe.
It has all the normal things you'd expect in a hotel. The reception was alright.
The thing that would make me choose a different hotel was that my room faced the back of the hotel and the smoking/sitting area was beneath my room and people were naturally chatting, watching something loud on their phones..... And I could hear it all with the sliding door closed. I find the people weren't being excessively loud.... It's just a bad setup of how noise travels to rooms in that area.
I didn't try the pool, gym, breakfast or bar so no comment on those. Like the other hotels in this block the bonus is that you can walk across the parking lot and access restaurants which is a pleasant feature. I've stayed here multiple times and I'd say it's quite satisfactory and clean. No hesitation to come again

The waiting staff is top tier!! I’ve never been somewhere where people are so kind and friendly! Our drinks were refilled several times, the food was brought out quickly and was SO GOOD! Genuinely the kind of food that you don’t want to stop eating! I ate so much that I didn’t have room for dessert and our server was still insistent on bringing us at least a portion to try! SO GOOD! They’re very kid/baby friendly and our server even held our 8 month old!! They’re so kind and thoughtful and the food is genuinely delightful! 100/10 5 stars the very best place I’ve ever been! “This place is a gem. While Bowling Green has a great assortment of restaurants, this newer one brings a whole other level of flavor and ethnicity that this community needs to try! I've never had a banana empanada until tonight and now I'm already craving a plate of them with some fresh brewed coffee. I also never had plantains in a way that I could just eat an entire plate of them. And JUST them! I'm very excited to go back and try their other extensive menu options! You may need Google Translate if you aren't a native Spanish speaker but even though I'm not, they were unbelievably friendly to help explain the menu and what to recommend as a "first timer". I'm excited that Orgullo Catracho is here in Bowling Green to bring a taste of Honduras to us. They have amazing foods to enjoy! I cannot wait to go back!”

Since she handled everything including the menu selection, I don't know anything about the pricing or what other items are available but I can tell you that everything I tasted was fresh, delicious - and vegetarian (if not vegan). Though I'm not a huge fan of kale, the sweet and tangy kale salad with feta was outstanding. I also enjoyed the vegan chickpea salad with grapes and walnuts which was reminiscent of the chicken salad with grapes that's so popular these days ... Because I get full after a few bites of food, I tried the 3rd dish, a high protein plant-based Buddha bowl, the next day ... Though it was a tad bland for my "Carolina Reaper palate," adding some of my Jamaican Scotch Bonnet pepper sauce & a lil vinegar amped it up to 5 stars. 🔥 Since it was gonna take me at least another day just to finish the salads and ole Buddha, I froze the mixed fruit and brownies for future enjoyment ... And again, though I never saw a menu, based upon everything I tried, I most def recommend The 30 Bird -- especially if you're looking to eat more healthfully or are vegetarian or vegan. 🥰”
