Come in for amazing movie nights, burlesque shows, writers circles, live music, and trivia nights in the back courtyard aka the Scrapyard. if you ain't gonna be cool, then don't bother coming in, if you're trouble then this ain't the place for you. otherwise what an absolute gem of a bar slash venue“

“Me and my best friend came to Copper Monkey while in town on our girls trip. We saw the banana beignets online and wanted to try them. We were not disappointed! The banana sauce on top of them with the powdered sugar is so good!!! The bartender Jacque was awesome too. Super glad we happened to find this place online!!“

They were happy to put an obscure soccer match on a big screen for us, cook us delicious food (the fish and chips were a highlight, as were the weekend special Buffalo chicken dip egg rolls), and pour us some great drinks. Amazing vibes during the day and at night, wonderful staff (hi guys!) and cozy atmosphere. Can’t recommend highly enough.“

“On a little NOLA getaway for me and the hubbs, we came to this little hidden gem for a late night bite and bev. Beers were cold and the food was hot. Just as it should be! The good company is what brought us back on the second night. Pixie was fun, entertaining and just a great gal. It was a quiet couple of nights (not your average Bourbon St. traffic) so we had the joy of being 2 of the 3 people in the place. We listened and sang to music, talked about books and movies and just had a great time. Came back, as I do on almost every trip. To be honest, the vibe had dropped off for a brief time for some reason but yesterday, Hailey (spelling?) and her cook (didn't get his name) held court and made for an incredible atmosphere all afternoon. Great drinks, conversation and music for hours.

“Outstanding place. Very laid back, enjoyable environment, OMG, the owner of the restaurant was AMAZING , she has always been super Amazing, friendly, Sweet, she definitely made our night each time Perfect. Very nice please to visit and enjoy a relaxing day after work. Thank you!!“

“Ana amazing spot tucked away just off of Filmore. We had a super rad time. The bar happened to be celebrating a customers birthday, so there were a good amount of folks right when the bar opened. Everyone was friendly and enjoying the company of others. Only took about 10 minutes before we started dancing. The bar serves food, but I did not try anything this round. But, I have a reason to go back.“

The crayfish eggroll with a light savory sauce was cooked to perfection and BBQ wings w/ celery sticks were the best. Food was served with a beautiful presentation. This spot is a hidden gem. You have to check it out. We will be back.“

“No real outside signage to inform walkers that a bar and restaurant is there. No clear entrance to bar/restaurant unless you are a guest at the hotel. Only managed to stumble across it by word of mouth. The lighting is a bit too dim, way too loud to hear the bartender, kept having to ask him to repeat himself. Really limited vegetarian options on the menu but the feed green tomato sandwich is good. The service and knowledgeable recommendations by Austin were excellent, Glenn was extremely nice and helpful.“

“Nice little place to grab some beers and enjoy the fresh air blowing in from the big open windows. They have a lot of taps with plenty of locally brewed options and bartenders that are happy to help you choose. Service was friendly and genuine and not in your face. An easy walk from the convention center and cruise hotels.“

Had the Honduran tacos (with chicken) and they were an EXPERIENCE.
Savory, salty, spicy, creamy and bright crunchy mixed vegetable coleslaw all wrapped into a crunchy fried corn tortilla (similar looking to a flauta). And a BIG plate of them for only $10? Yes please!
You have to try this place.
Everything is so affordable and delicious.

“We had the pleasure of visiting this establishment this past weekend as a part of a stop during a party bus tour. I feel like it is a hidden gem that more people should frequent. The drink prices are good and the locals are friendly. Great atmosphere!“

“Adult atmosphere, very clean restrooms, great music, competent friendly staff, tasty food, and owner King Frank Charles is the epitome of what entrepreneurship should be. Your first visit will get you hooked for sure. Great for parties and gatherings of all kinds. Can't say enough about this place.“

“If you are neuro divergent and need a relatively quite place to take refuge from the chaos of the street, this is the place! The music is a normal level - not normal for bars, regular normal - and the staff was very acomodating. Mocksville was great as well and my friend enjoyed his hurricane. Thank goodness!“

“We ordered a lot of small plates and enjoyed every one of them. The charred broccoli was fantastic and we paired it with a side of rice to soak up all of that great sauce. The Salad was great, but I think the beets could have been cooked longer and it would have made the dish better. The sweet potato was perfect. We enjoyed our fresh strawberries served in an antique tea cup with a side of homemade chocolate. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Reservations are needed for this restaurant and all of the good restaurants in New Orleans“

“I was lost in this world; not knowing who I was or what I was doing. But then, I had a slice of Broadway Pizza, and my life has never been the same since. A true piece of pizza artistry“

“I went into the Bronx Bar, which is the bar side of New York Pizzeria, a half an hour before closing to grab some take-out Italian for my chef husband to eat when he got home after working a night shift. I got the pasta marinara with meatballs since we were burned out on delivery pizza. I was plesantly surprised. The kitchen was technically closed for the night, but you could get certain menu items if you ordered at the bar. The food was excellent-the meatballs were definitely homemade, and the bartender gave me a free soda as I waited at the bar for my food to come out of the kitchen. I recommend this place, very good for a late-night bite to go.“

“I stopped by to grab a bite to eat after a parade late night. They have a limited menu but are quick and very courteous. The store is interesting enough to wait for the 10 minutes it took to make my burger. The burger was good and fries were ok as well. Not bad for an under $11 meal. The employees were very nice and communicative.“
