Plus chef can cook really good, mostly tried chicken specials, good seasoning and texture, appetizers, Chinese food, great for feeding a family of four or more which is great. Also do not forget to show your coupon before you order they honor it.“

Great service, good music, fast food. Good food all around. Only dislike is the miso ramen. Didn't have as much new soul and deaf flavor that I was hoping for as I don't eat pork. And so I didn't end up eating the ramen and they were able to remove that from my check due to me not eating and liking it so that is why I rounded up to five out of five stars instead of having it 4. Worth trying has a large range of options.“

“This place has really great sushi- The fish is super fresh. It's a tad pricier than some other sushi restaurants in the neighborhood but I think that's acceptable given the quality of fish and that you get way more rolls. That said, it's definitely a takeout only kind of place, there's only counter seating for like 7 people. Service was a biiit slow but there was only one chef and I think the owner working to get rolls out. It also felt a bit like there was pressure to get us to tip, which I thought was odd given it's not exactly a sit down and you order and pay at the counter.“

“I had been waiting 3 years ever since the sign went up saying this was coming to my area. Finally for my birthday I got the chance to go and it was not a let down. The front of house staff was very friendly and seated my party immediately. The waitress took no time at all to get our drinks and come back with them and take our complete order. We put everything in at the same time and they did an excellent job of pacing the salads, appetizers, and main meal. The food was absolutely fantastic and gorgeous to look at. I have to mention our waitress too from the second time, Soko. She remembered us from the previous night, she even remembered which drink she had made me! Solid takeout sushi. I was desperately craving sushi on evening and, after perusing Uber Eats for a bit, settled on Toku after receiving a recommendation from a friend. I got their sushi combo, which came with ten assorted pieces of nigiri and a California roll, as well as my choice of miso soup or salad. The sushi was super fresh, and I appreciated the variety of fish chosen for the nigiri; I didn't care much for the California roll and would have loved the option to switch it out with a different roll, but it's perfectly reasonable for them to not allow those types of swaps. It was a solid meal and absolutely satisfied by sushi craving.“

“I've gotten take-out from here several times. I've tried several ramen dishes, sushi, and the grilled mixed veggies. All scrumptious!

My husband and I dined in for the first time today, and we were both very impressed with the atmosphere and friendly, attentive staff. Hayden was our server, and he showed exemplary hospitality skills. He made us feel welcome, checked in on us frequently without feeling overbearing, and made sure we knew the AYCE menu is double-sided.

Speaking of, the AYCE is such a great deal! I used to live in Vegas, where AYCE sushi is very common. Unfortunately, for most of them, since the focus is on quantity, the quality suffers. This is not the case for Toryumon! Maybe it's because it isn't strictly an AYCE place. You can absolutely order items a-la-carte from their regular menu (as I had done previously for take-out). The items are exactly the same whether you order from the regular menu or the AYCE. Same quality, and, this is important, same size! Yes, you will receive a FULL-SIZED bowl of ramen if you order it from the AYCE menu.

Not all of the menu items have descriptions, and I was surprised by some of them (not in a bad way, just wasn't what I was expecting), such as:

The avocado salad. I was expecting it to be cubes/chunks of avocado tossed with a dressing. What came out was a lettuce salad with sliced avocado on top. The dressing was good, slightly sweet. It was a good salad, just not at all what I was expecting.

The sweet potato sushi roll is served warm, the sweet potato is deep fried, and there is eel sauce on top. The sweet potato rolls I had other places were not fried, and served cold. I really enjoyed this one!

Everything seemed very fresh, not a hint of wilting greens or brown avocado to be seen!

I am so grateful to live right down the road from this amazing establishment. If you enjoy ramen, sushi, and other Japanese items, def give them a try!
