“Milly’s is an absolute gem in Minneapolis! The wine selection is impressive, with a great variety of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options that catered perfectly to our group. The food, especially the charcuterie boards, was delicious and beautifully presented. Don’t miss out on the French onion soup! Our server was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the evening. A special shoutout to Timothy, the sommelier, who was incredibly knowledgeable and helped us pick the perfect pairings for our meal. And the owner, Brandon, was so welcoming and personable, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. We’ll definitely be back! Highly recommend!“

“My husband and I chose to celebrate our one year anniversary here today. It was both of our first times dining at Broders’ and we enjoyed everything about this wonderful experience! Upon arriving we were attempting to take a selfie photo outside and one of the employees opened the front door and asked us if we would like him to take our photo. Tyson so kindly took several photo angles and opened up the door for us as we walked in. It truly felt like we were being welcomed into someone’s warm and inviting home. Our sweet waitress helped me select the most delectable glass of wine I have ever tasted. Words cannot explain how delicious the pasta was… we lapped up every single drop and were in absolute food heaven. To top it all off… we were treated to a free dessert of our choosing along with two chocolate cocoa truffles on the house!! After we finished our meal we went across the street to their storefront to purchase some pasta and sauce to enjoy at some point in the coming weeks. We will definitely be back for all special occasions and certainly for our two year anniversary. If you are looking for a once in a lifetime experience and meal this is the place!! Enjoy!“

“I honestly wish I had discovered the Tasting Room sooner. What a gem!

Our server was incredibly knowledgeable about their wine offerings, extremely attentive, and truly spot-on with his recommendations. I was also pleasantly surprised by how reasonable the prices were, especially given the amazing quality of both the food and wine.

This has officially become one of my new favorite spots!

I also want to give a special shoutout to Nico, who I presume is the owner. My guest accidentally left their phone behind, and Nico responded to my email promptly. When my friend returned the following day to pick it up, Nico recognized him right away and made sure he got his phone back.

It’s clear that they genuinely care about their customers and make a real effort to go above and beyond. Between the excellent food, wine, service, and hospitality, I can’t recommend the Tasting Room enough!“

“-Vinai MN- My friend and I wanted to try Chef Yia's restaurant due to being homesick and wanting hmong food. We were met with such great service and sat where we could see the work area. Chef Yia was so kind and started us off with a complimentary appetizer, rice Curry balls. We ordered and the food came so fast. As soon as I took a bite, my eyes started to get teary because it tasted like food from home. I started fanning myself to not cry which Chef Yia saw and asked if the food was too spicy. We then started to explain that we were not from MN and were feeling a bit homesick and how the food reminded us of home. Chef Yia then said, here let's do this. He returned with a pot of beef soup that consisted of mushrooms, bamboo shoots, beef and green onion and white rice and shared that this dish was one of those dishes that we would eat at gathering and events. We we so shocked and so at loss with his kindness and compassion. We both took a bite and immediately lighted up. It tasted like my mom's cooking 💓. As we were nearing the end of our meal, Chef Yia told us not to stuff ourselves too full and surprised us with a complimentary dessert which further awed us. We were so lost at words for Chef Yia's kindness, generosity and comfort. We chose the Lava Cake and it was soooo good! I normally don't like sweets but we devoured this 😋. 1000/10 would recommend.“

“Small Hours was on my list and although we had little time we could make it for a glass of wine. I loved the atmosphere and how cozy it was. Since I am from Spain I checked both their wine and food menu and I was very pleased with their selection. They closed after we left and Bobby from Phoebe Bridgers started playing - It was just magical to hear it from the very dark street. A 10/10.“

“I can't get enough of this place! I've been here many times and have loved every single visit. Last night we celebrated my birthday there, and Venus and Eva made my night so special.

“Loved the food here. We got two plates to share along with a side and enjoyed every item.

The mushroom fettuccini was very good, with a few greens in the middle to offset the rich earthiness.

The jerk chicken was flavorful and tender. It came with a vinegary cucumber salad that was also tasty. The smashed yucca was maybe the best yucca I've ever had. It had a citrusy sauce in it that balanced the salty starchiness. Wonderful!

The cocktails were great too, and the patio seating has a great view of the river on a nice day. All in all, superb!“

“My waiter Addison was great and very attentive. However, the short rib sandwich was over cooked and over priced. On line there were a couple of items that I didn't see on the actual menu while at the restaurant. We were given the lunch menu at the front door, this really confused me, later Addison eventually figured it out. The rest of the experience was nice. The comedy acts were funny, except for the second to last guy, that totally bombed, as part of his act was to call all women bitches. He was poorly prepared, and otherwise was not funny at all, and should not be invited back.“

The food was impressive. We ordered tenderloin with lobster, fillet mignon Oscar style, and the famous au gratin potatoes. Before the main course we were delighted with an array of breads and a delicious amuse-bouche. We skipped salad to keep room for dessert, which was in our opinion a smart play because the cheesecake and crème brûlée was a marvelous way to cap our evening. Highly recommend the Capital Grille. “We were looking for a place for an anniversary brunch, and found this. Great patio seating, view of the lake (we’re going for a walk around the lake when we finish), fantastic food. We split a dish and it was plenty. And they do a refill on drip coffee.

Rolled eyes when we didn’t order alcohol and said “I guess” when my mother (who has memory issues and was there celebrating her birthday) asked for ice water. The guy delivering the food gave a better experience just dropping it off than we had with her the entire time. I waited table for fifteen years and never once rolled my eyes at someone. Her tone and facial expressions were beyond rude. If she can’t act like she’s nice she might need a new job. The rest of the staff was BEYOND friendly so she really gave off a rotten apple vibe.“

The mac and cheese is hands down the best I’ve ever had creamy, cheesy, and perfectly baked. My only suggestion would be to leave the turkey leg whole, so I can enjoy breaking into it myself!“

“In Fargo, service is not great. i had one bite of my meal and told waiter he could take it. He never asked why, if anything was wrong, just grabbed it and walked away. I wasn't expecting anything other than for him to know why my meal was not hardly touched. He never came back to table until he brought us the bill.“
