“I wanted to take the time to give this place a great review. Our waiter named Jared was very good at keeping everyone at our table happy and satisfied. Not only was he good at service but was able to bring humor to the table which brings some entertainment to the experience. One big thing that I enjoy is having a beer first ready to go before my meal and that expectation was met. Going out to eat with my family means alot to me because I work very hard looking forward to eating out every weekend so I wanted to show my appreciation with a good review on my experience.”

They have the BEST carrot cake and the potato salad was served warm and incredibly delicious too. Few restaurants we've visited recently have been so delightful.”

“Absolutely the best Indian food in st Charles county. Had the goat curry and it was so good! I got the high spice level but if you can’t handle the heat they have mild levels as well. The sugar cane drink was so tasty and the ginger paired well with the spice. Highly recommend Persis Indian Grill. We will be a repeat customer!”

“When I needed a cake for an impromptu party I decided only 12 days ahead on, I picked up the phone and called Sweet Spot Cake Shoppe and reached out to Donna. I had a kinda, round about idea of what I was after, but honestly I just wanted 1/4 sheet 1/2 chocolate 1/2 white with LIGHT icing and I wanted the USMC Globe and Anchor logo and a RR track around the perimeter. Her FIRST ATTEMPT (that's right 1st) was a Grand Slam. This cake is for a Vietnam Combat Veteran Marine and I wanted it perfect. SSCS blew my expectations out of the water. In fact, I'd say came in about 20-25% less than the same at the big chain bakeries, not to mention it was one fresh, perfect cake, nothing misspelled or 3" of frosting on top of some dried out 4 day old cake that was mass produced. Made to order and more affordable! 5 stars across the board! Thanks for making the party complete!”

“Fell in love with The Cookie Box after driving by and buying a cookie on a whim. Have now been back 4 times for my family or for little gifts buying a variety of cookies. Purchased darling Easter bunny cookies for our Easter guests and everyone raved about them! Also was easy to pre-order and they were accommodating when I asked for a last minute change to our pick up. Highly recommend!!”

The Shrimp and Chicken with mushrooms far surpassed my expectations. Best of all, I talked to Scott and meet Sergio with the El Tio Pepe family all there helping and smiling. Thank you, again. “My husband and I stop in multiple times a week to pick up the fruit teas, and sometimes the poke bowls. We’re obsessed with the teas, and we love the staff and the customer service! They even notice if we haven’t been in for a while and ask us how we’re doing and how our son is doing—they’re so sweet and really care about their customers! I decided I wanted a piece of cheesecake to go after she gave us the receipt in the folder and she never came back for me to tell her. I asked another server who directed me to the bar. Ordered and it took ten minutes to get it. Normally I wouldn’t mind but we had my MIL with us in her wheelchair. It came and was the Tiniest piece of cheesecake I’ve ever been served for $10 😳. I would recommend skipping dessert and go buy a whole cheesecake at Dierbergs next door for the same price and less wait.”

I walked in and was immediately greeted and told to sit wherever. the waitress was very friendly. She took my order and quickly returned with my dinner: over easy egg, hash browns, bacon & toast. it's was all excellent.”

When I say every person who has ever waited on us at Dos has been kind, prompt, attentive, even observant of our needs, this would be an understatement. No matter how busy they are you will never feel like you are in the way or that you are forgotten. The food is amazing!! I’ve never had a bad meal here. Be careful with the margaritas…when you stand up they hit hard 😂💛”

“I’ve actually never had coffee from this or any of the Scooter establishments. I stopped at this location to pick up some gift cards. The young man working on the evening of Thursday December 18th was one of the most polite workers at any service establishment I’ve ever had the pleasure of dealing with. He was so kind, it was so refreshing. It seems society doesn’t have good customer skills anymore or they just don’t care, I don’t know which it is. I’m now a Scooters patron because of my experience with this young man. He deserves the recognition, he was so sweet. Hindsight I should have asked his name, but it was bitter cold that evening and it was my last stop!”

I got the double smash burger, which was really good, but it was cooked more like a regular hamburger because on a Smashburger the edges are crispy which adds to the flavor. My hamburger SB edges, even though it was a really good burger! I I would still recommend eating here because the food is really good and the service is excellent! I get it some days,there are off days and maybe that’s what happened. But we will definitely be back!”

“The rudest manager I have ever met. the restaurant was only about 30% full and the hostess would not seat us at the table we wanted to sit at, even though 70% of the tables were empty. I asked her to ask the manager, and we still couldn't sit at the table we wanted. So, we decided to leave. On the way out, I stopped at the hostess desk and very politely asked her to pass along to the manager why we were leaving so that he would be aware because if I were manager, I would want to know why my customers left before ordering.. The manager came up behind me while I was telling her that and interrupted me saying to stop talking because he was aware of my opinion. He went on to say that he had been doing this for a long time and knows what he is doing. When I started to respond, he interrupted me again shouting "Stop talking!" and then, "Just leave!" I had made my request for the table very politely and was also very politely asking the hostess to let him know that we were leaving for that reason. To be interrupted twice and yelled at and told to stop talking and just leave in the manor he did so was outrageous behavior verging on threatening. I will never return and will encourage all the groups I routinely go to sports bars with to never return. If you are going to a sports bar to watch your favorite teams, this is definitely NOT the place to go. You will likely not be able to watch the teams you like and will get yelled at if you try. Customer service is definitely not something this place values.”

I was told, “Thanks for the heads up.” When we arrived we were told it would be 40 minutes and there was one waiter. The Hostess even called another location to see if we could get in sooner. Same wait, we decided to wait it out. We had excellent service from Katelyn and a gentleman, I unfortunately didn’t get his name who was trying to help her. Food came out fast, right and delicious. All the while Katelyn would have never made it feel as she was the only waitress in the entire restaurant. Thank you!!”

Placed our order with the manager, Calvin and the crew went right to work. It takes us longer to get our order at a fast food place. Penn Station really left a great impression and provided us with some top notch food. Be sure to try the new cheese sauce, good with the fries but takes their cheesesteak to a whole new level. Don’t forget their fresh baked cookies for dessert. Perfect little sweet treat right after a savory meal.”

Was told there was no manager on duty on a Saturday night so that's cool too. Three other bartenders seemed uninterested in helping too. Won't go back and I'll tell everyone else the same thing. “These might be some of the best pretzels I've ever had! There's a nice crisp to the outside with the warm soft center, and instead of going really overboard with the salt like most places seem to do it's just enough to add taste.
The place seemed very clean inside and the guy that helped me was very friendly. This was my first time actually visiting so I was surprised to see that they have a pretty decent amount of stuff on the menu and a number of dips and mustards.”

“Ordered here for the first time after a google review search and 88 China is our new go-to for take out. The Egg Rolls and Crab Rangoon were perfect. They were light, crunchy and GBD(Golden Brown and Delicious). We tried the Beef Broccoli and Lo Mein combos with fried rice. The Beef Broccoli was simply amazing. The sauce was light and fresh tasting, the Beef was delectable and the Broccoli was superbly cooked with a semi-soft "crunch" that made the dish. The Lo Mein was flavorful and well sauced with an abundance of smoky pork. The fried rice is simply the best I have ever had. It was full of flavor and delicately seasoned without the grease. It was simply superb for take-out.”

But at least the food is still consistantly a B+ and conveintly placed in every stripmall and reststop in the USA. This location is in the top 1% of good subways though. It is clean and their isnt any food in the wrong containers giving me olives in a handfull of peppers. So thats all i can ask for.”

“I did drive-thru at 11:45 a.m. On Monday morning and ordered the four roast beefs for $10 and a soft drink. customer service was excellent. The young gentleman did well with taking my order and handling the money exchange and the food

and the food was really good as well. I did not go inside to eat so this was strictly drive-thru but quite pleased with the service and the food taste.”
