“Stopped in here while completing our Trail Way Map. Great seats out front – drinks were good – service was good. We started off with the Pretzel Bites (Delicious) – no complaints. I ordered the Brown Bagged Chicken & Chips – Zero complaints, chicken was delicious but I did use the dip from Kid #2’s nachos as I found the honey dip to be too much “honey”. I also preferred Heinz Ketchup – they seem to use that ketchup that has that different tang to it. Kid #1 ordered the hamburger and fries – Zero complaints – ate the whole thing and was trying to dig into to Kid #2’s nacho chips Kid #2 ordered the nachos – she ate them all (mainly due to Kid #1 showed some interest in them so she probably forced most of them in her). Wife ordered the Burrito Bowl – she mentioned that it was delicious and also that she couldn’t finish it. She offered me a few bites (which meant she couldn’t finish it and was embarrassed at the amount she did leave). I think the place deserves a second visit – I’d like to hit up a few other items on their menu.”

Thankfully food came quickly but as others were sat, served and presented with their bills before we were, we realized we were forgotten. As we still had a 9 hour drive, my husband had to go into the restaurant to pay. We were very grateful that the food was delicious!”

Even though she wears a mask, you can tell she is always smiling. She is always helpful and makes our visit a pleasant one, and the breakfast is very good. I cannot remember her name but just wanted to say thanks and look forward to next Sunday morning.”

“What a great place... Every staff member welcomed us with a "good morning" and bid us good day when we left. The food was excellent and was prepared fresh for us... one order at a time! The coffee was freshly ground for every pot. What a great spot! The only regret is that it took me 13 years to come here! Not a great group place as there is only counter service but awesome for a few people in a group (1-5). It takes a bit longer to get your order than other restaurants BUT... it is fresh and hot because they only do on order (slip) at a time! Too bad there isn't an option for 10 ⭐ out of 5!”

“We had the pleasure of coming from NS to Trailway Brewing Co. on Saturday night (Sep. 21) to see Ella Campbell sing and play guitar. Besides her show stopping performance, Andrew the MC and greeter extraordinaire, made the night so unique and special with his personal attention to his guests and the performers. The Fetch beer was so good we brought a case home with us. Thanks for the great time!”

“tried Chong's Place for the first time today, and it was amazing! I originally went to Buffet to go and it was so unsanitary that I left. I brought it home and we loved the food so much and are thankful for our leftovers hehe. We decided on making Chongs our go to place. I have a gluten and dairy restricted diet and they are always willing to alter a recipe to accommodate me, as well as already offering gluten free options. The menu is varied and the desserts are so good. Well worth the money- every time. This restaurant never disappoints.”

This place is absolutely world class. It doesn't matter where I go, what city I travel to, I have yet to encounter a place as good as this.

Service: Tops
Food: Worldclass
Cocktails: As inventive as they are adventurous
Atmosphere: Cozy, casual and stupendously-friendly

The menu is diverse, and each dish is unique, and packed with bags of flavour. There are NO weak dishes here. Everything is outstanding. Everything!

Oh, and Taco Tuesday!!! Best tacos I've ever had. And they are different every week.

But what really continues to amaze me is the consistency. As a regular patron, my wife and I have yet to have a bad experience, let alone one disappointing dish. It's never happened. 11th Mile is always THAT good. Nay, outstanding.

The only problem you will have is trying to decide WHAT to have, because it is ALL good.

Oh, and the cocktails...!

“Me and my family of 9 (two adults four teens and three preteens) went here for breakfast as a treat after finding it on google. It’s a very homey diner, it’s bathrooms and atmosphere is clean and the waitresses are extremely patient and inviting. we did wait a bit for our food but it was a big order so that’s normal. when we got the food it was all perfectly cooked and very delicious. the portions were good for the prices. there’s also a make your own coffee bar and coolers so you can pick your own drinks (anything from juice to energy drinks). in the end our bill came to 178.22 and for the food we got it was well worth it. we tipped 40$ and thanked them for being patient with us. will definitely be back:))”

“I used to live next to the Industrial Park and I never envisioned this area would have such an asset such as this. While doing the Trailway Map we came across this location – it is a total must return to spot! The location is amazing, inviting & relaxing. There is a great selection of beer – I do wish, like Picaroons they would have a Cider on tap (from York County Cider in town), rather an out of the city option in a can, regardless, I’m happy they have that option.”

“Always love Taco Boyz. Fresh and great food. Today they mixed up my taco pocket with one for delivery. I only noticed when I got home to start eating. I called back and the staff was great. They immediately made me a new one and delivered to my house. They even offered other items to make it right. I only wanted my taco pocket and not to take advantage. I didn't have to fight or argue. I told them I got the wrong one and they made it right. Already loved them and now even more. Mistakes happen. Oh and they even put a happy face on my order. It's they little things.”

“I often used to frequent the diplomat prior to the pandemic for their Delmonico Ribeye, which was the absolute best steak I'd ever eaten in my life. I was devastated when it was no longer on the menu... However today I went to the diplomat for a different reason and they went above and beyond with the quality and service.

I'm very sick and hot and sour soup is basically magic in a bowl when it comes to feeling better. I called every Asian restaurant in the city and finally found that the Diplomat had it!! A giant liter of soup for 10 dollars plus taxes. I wore a mask and gloves to pick it up and they were so kind and quick with the service, telling me they hoped I feel better soon. The first bite had me instantly feeling better and I won't be going anywhere else for soup when I'm sick now!”

“Normally I avoid this place like the plague. They messed up my wife's burger order completely. Swung back around to complain. Gabriel made up for it ten times over. Normally McDonalds has poor customer service but this guy was actually a solid employee. Give him a raise or promotion. Great guy that handled my problem well. Genuinely surprised and will be coming back here again when the craving hits if not just for the great customer service.”

“We ordered last minute 1/4 vanilla butter cream cake, I can't describe how good it was. Razonable price. Definitely the best one, no too sweet, perfect filled. I was very impressed to see the ice cream varieties, amazing! We also tried the brownie cheese cake and peanut butter balls, everything was delicious. Highly recommend this place.”
