“Tried Chex Grill in Indian Trail today and let me just say… the food was SLAPPIN 😮‍🔥 But the real star? Rashad. Absolute top-tier human. There was a tiny “delay” with my jerk chicken sub because they were literally making the sauce fresh (which honestly just tells me everything I need to know). I wasn’t even bothered, but Rashad went out of his way to make sure I had food at the same time as my family and surprised me with a chicken, mushroom, and cheese sub (no clue the official name but BABYYYYY… it was BUSSIN). The kindness, the thoughtfulness, the vibes were unmatched. Food was amazing, service was superb, and it’s rare to see someone care that much these days. We’ll 100% be back. “We had an awesome experience at Chex Grill & Wings after visiting Beat The Bomb for my daughter’s birthday celebration! I had a group of five 10-year-olds (plus a few others), and the staff was incredibly patient as the kids figured out what they wanted to order. They even let us sample the chicken wings before choosing—huge win! The wings were delicious—especially the Strawberry Hot flavor, which is now officially my favorite! While we were enjoying our food, a man came in and sat down nearby—we thought he was just another customer, but it turns out he was the owner! He was so kind and invited my daughter (the birthday girl) and her friend to take on the 60-second wing challenge for a chance to win $50. My daughter won, and when the owner asked if she wanted to give her $50 to her friend, she said yes—and then he surprised her by giving her $100! Such a kind and thoughtful gesture. To top it all off, the staff sang Happy Birthday to my daughter and brought her a slice of cake. 🥹❤️ The avocado side salad was also super fresh and tasty. I had a large order and couldn't decide on what flavors. he brought out his recommendation and that's what I picked and it was very good and he also gave me fries and a lemonade that was really good. if I was so far away in Florida I would be going every weekend to eat. “I had the hamburger at Painted Rooster, and it was absolutely delicious. The flavor was great, and I also really enjoyed the coleslaw. The service was good, and overall I had a very pleasant experience.

My only suggestion would be to make the hamburger a little bigger or offer a larger portion. After finishing the burger and the coleslaw, I was still a little hungry. The quality and taste are definitely there—just a little more food would make the experience even better.

“As someone born and raised in Buffalo, I don’t say this lightly…these are some of the best wings I’ve ever had. I’m in Charlotte for work and stumbled upon Buffalo Eatz, and wow. The Buffalo wings were perfectly crispy with that classic, legit sauce flavor that so many places miss. The barbecue wings were just as good…smoky, saucy, and not overly sweet. And the waffle fries with cheese? Absolute comfort food perfection: crispy, seasoned right, and cheese on the side. This place understands wings. “I’ve been a longtime vendor for Brixx, but since I’m usually here early in the mornings, I don’t often get the chance to actually sit down and enjoy a meal. Today, though, I had the pleasure of being here around lunchtime and finally got to grab a small pizza for myself!

Jason runs an excellent location here in Blakeney. The restaurant is always clean, open, and running smoothly, and the location itself is fantastic. I always enjoy being here, especially when I get the chance to stop in during a lunch break.

And, of course, it goes without saying that you can’t beat that classic Brixx wood-fired taste.
