McDonald's in Durham

“Easily the best McDonald’s in Durham, food is good most of the time, service is always friendly. Can be slow at times but not really a problem considering the food and service are great. If you come late enough you get the bonus of free entertainment from people doing wild stuff in the parking lot.“

“Fast, friendly, accurate service. Good food and clean resturant.

Parking: Plenty of off street parking in their lot.

Kid-friendliness: Kids meals and other kid appropriate options.

Wheelchair accessibility: Wide doorways, Hcap restrooms, and tables.“

“The workers here are amazing. They really get bombarded with orders, but they a very nice about making things right if they get something wrong with your order. It always clean. JT was especially accommodating and truly kind, he was back and forth between the register and getting orders put together and even brang my order to my table. He made it a great experience to dine in at this location. Show some patience and humility with these workers, they are human just like you. 🙏🏻“

“However, the Male Hispanic Cashier had a problem counting the Money. I waited patiently and being a former teacher, told him how he could make things easier. He thanked me and told me that he thought he was doing it wrong. I assured him he was not. The staff was very professional and the restaurant was extremely clean.“

“Locally owned and you can tell they care. The food was so freshly cooked It reminded how good McDonald's can be. I usually feel cheated buying fast food because they dont care how your food comes out. Not here, we stop by when in area and no matter the time of day they are always consistent with the the quality.“

“This McDonald’s location actually is one of the best in the area according to my experience because I’m dealing with McDonald’s restaurant if I’m not gonna say daily or weekly at least two or three times a week so I know where are the good McDonald’s location is and this one is one of the best , clean ,neat , very good team actually and Food is fresh Very good taste and I always go there. I wish the other McDonalds in Durham is just like this one.“

“The staff consisted primarily of Spanish-speaking Mexican workers, and it took considerable effort to communicate my needs effectively. It is therefore not surprising that many customers have expressed dissatisfaction. That said, the store itself was clean and appeared to have been recently renovated.

Ps. I ordered two Happy Meals, but neither included the advertised toys. Although this may appear insignificant, it suggests a lack of care in fulfilling standard customer expectations.“

“The food was good, but not hot. I'm not acustumed to using the kiosk to order my meal. I asked for help. My meal was not complete. I left without it being completed. $19.67 was not acceptable for a Double Fish sandwich, medium sized fries, and a medium drink. But it was clean. The meal took 15 minutes. Only 2 customers in the establishment.“

“We went through the drive thru and even though I state that we needed honey mustard dipping sauce twice and it showed up on the order, we did not receive any. This is the 3rd time that this has happened. My bacon quarter pounder was not suppose to have onions on it, but they were on it. Someone was not bothering to read the order while preparing it. The food was ready pretty quickly.“

“McDonald’s stores are not what they used to be but that’s a knock on corporate. I’ve had some bad experiences at this location but whoever is running the Tuesday night dinner shift deserves some credit. Food was on point, hot and accurate. It wasn't sloppy and thrown together but actually looked good unwrapping it (yall know what I mean when you get that sandwich with pickles hanging out of the side) my order reminded me of the good ole days, getting a hot and fresh sandwich and fries like I used to. Oh, and the McFlurry was fantastic. Cheers to the team working on Tuesday night. Seems like they actually took pride in their work and it’s much appreciated.“

“Fairly quick service for them having one of the busiest Saturday mornings to exist, seriously though, the restaurant was packed with people. Although there was still a sticker on my lemon, I'm not complaining. I got my tea and that tea made me happy today. Thanks Mcds.“

“Very unprofessional ppl working there!!! If I order something and it’s wrong there shouldn’t be a problem letting you know!!! Not making the customer feel like they’re wrong!!! I work hard for my money just like the next person and if I order something I expect to get just that!!!! You shouldn’t have to deal with an irate employee!!!!! And not to worry I will never spend my money in this establishment again!!! And I will definitely tell my family and friends not to spend they money here as well!!!!“

“My family and I have been back here in NC since March 2026 and we've been here probably at least 5 times or so. Every single time the service time was quick, the food was fresh and hot, and IT WAS CORRECT! And bonus to the staff there but so far the ones I have dealt with have been kind and professional. It is our go to McDonald's!“
