“I met Phil and Denise at a restaurant I work at. They knew everyone there so I asked them how. They mentioned they owned a local restaurant and that I should stop by. So glad I did! I ordered the turkey and cheese on rye with a side of potato salad. This was my first time having rye bread and it was so fresh! It’s made in house. This is a perfect spot for lunch. I now see why it’s so popular! The staff is friendly and the restaurant is clean. you’ll leave full and happy. Show this place some love, you won’t regret it.“

“Food is good. Open hours are kind of odd though. I went in as google indicated they were open until 3pm on Sunday. When I arrived about 2:30 from first Glance they appeared to be closed. I then looked at the hours on the door and it indicated they were closed on Sunday. Then I seen a paper sign indicating they were open Sundays until 3pm in September. As I was about to leave I seen a worker sweeping and tried the door and it opened. Suffice it to say next time I am calling to verify they are open before going.“

I picked up our order instead and the staff was extremely friendly, the prices are great, and the sandwiches are freaking delicious and well-made. But please consider broadening your delivery range for this store (or opening up a store closer to Pineville/Westinghouse Rd area).“

“Good Solid Team! This Place is My Go To Location to order my favorite sub - The #17 Giant Philly Steak & Cheese with No Green Peppers (allergic to peppers). My Favorite bread is the Cheese Bread! The #17 is delicious every single time I order it! Left over portions hold well in the fridge for a day or so, easy reheat too. I am coming back and Highly Recommend this Place!

“We’ve been to a lot of firehouse locations and love their food but the service has been lacking. This location however, their staff was too notch. From our order being taken to an employee who obviously just got off a shift asking how our food was. You can tell that they like working together, take care of each other and are there to work. “I came here on July 1st and was greeted by Audrey and Miss Lisa. Let me tell you i sure did feel like home here, they greeted me nicely, talked to me as if i was family, and make sure my sandwich was perfect the way i wanted it. These people went above and beyond to conversate with me as i was waiting to make me feel comfortable in the environment, Ive been a regular for years and I sure haven’t seen people this great since Miss Daniela and Shawnice! “I have been to this establishment many times and after the service I received yesterday I wanted to post a review. The staff from management to the employees are beyond my expectations. They do their VERY BEST to ensure every customer is treated with most absolute professionalism. They take great pride and care with their customer service from every sale. If you want amazing quick service, to your catering THIS is the store you need to call. If you have a birthday party, or any sort of engagement that meets quick and easy food this is the place for you. I just wanted to put it out there that this establishment not only has great food, has an enjoyable atmosphere and to top of off their SANITATION rating is exceptional. The first thing I personally always look at is the sanitation score because that means they take great pride and care on making sure the place is clean and up to standards on food safety. “They are an exceptional team. There was mild frustration after ordering my sandwich (concerning a lack of money in the register) my total was $16, I handed them $20. They did not have 3 single dollar bills available to make change. However, they resolved this problem quickly and I got to enjoy a wonderfully prepared sandwich and fries. Things like that happen. But how your team handles it is everything. BRAVO!

“My family and I love having Jersey Mike’s close by in Waxhaw now. The staff is always very friendly and the store is always clean. I do have to say that dependent on who is cutting the the deli meat at the time you order your sandwich, you may have a normal amount of meat or hardly any. I know at some locations they weigh it to make sure it’s the correct amount. I wish they’d do this every time. I just have a hard time justifying paying almost $16 for a Giant Sub with such little meat on it. If they could improve this area then they’d for sure be 5 stars in my opinion! And yes, if I’m there and ordering in person then I make sure there is enough on the sandwich or ask them to weigh it. 😊 Pictured below are 2 of our sandwiches from tonight (my husband went and wasn’t paying attention at the amount of meat being put on the sandwiches). One was a Turkey and the other an Italian.“
