“Fan Szechuan Restaurant & Bar is a fantastic find on the Lower East Side! Authentic, bold Szechuan flavors in a sleek, modern space with great service.🔥
The sweet and sour crispy jumbo prawns are my absolute favorite — huge, perfectly crunchy, succulent, and tossed in the most addictive tangy-sweet sauce. Could eat them every visit!❤️
Other dishes we tried were spot-on, spicy and flavorful. Attentive staff and cool bar vibe too. Definitely coming back. Highly recommend! 🌶️🍤“

“William is incredible! Ye’s has been on our list for awhile and we got the chance today to wander in. We wanted a quick drink to celebrate the sun. William guided us in the right direction <3 we had the HK milk punch, Sichuan old fashioned, wings, and money bag dumplings. Perfect way to start the evening and everything was delicious. Come try the baiju for a unique liquor experience.“

“Honestly my favorite Chinese place in NYC. A hidden gem in the neighborhood that is so good I want to keep this place a secret. Every single menu is perfectly prepared, sauce and seasoning is just right, and the ingredients feel fresh with generous portions. Great lunch deal as well! Big and clean space.“

“Insane drinks made by Bonnie (the Jasmine Fall and the Cherry Old Fashioned) the flavors were unlike anything else we’ve ever had. Will be dreaming about the Jasmine Fall. Same with the food - absolutely amazing dumplings. Also - drinks were buy one get one free because it was late night. Bonnie is the best - she was so helpful and kind when it came to helping us narrow down what we wanted!“

“Typically, I like to go to Chinatown when I’m getting Chinese food, but when it comes to birds of a feather, it is top-tier incredible Chinese food that you definitely need to try
I haven’t had a bad dish there yet, they are all phenomenal!“

“Han Dynasty is one of my go-to restaurants for quality Chinese food in NYC. It is not a hole-in-the-wall establishment like many of the other Chinese restaurants in the city (not that there’s anything wrong with that). The space is large and comfortable, and the food is consistently delicious with very good drink options. The price point is also reasonable considering the location. I like how the menu specifies the spice level of each dish on a scale of 1-10, although I find the calibration to be more American rather than Szechuan spice levels, no surprise. But if you need a real hit just ask for an 11 and the chef will deliver.“

“We eat at Hot Fish quite often, and usually order the same dishes. I was lucky enough to be their "Tasting Panel Foodie" winner, and was invited to try some different items from the menu. If you want to indulge in an unforgettable gastronomic experience, you have to try the Fresh Striped Bass. I ordered it with spicy sauce, but there are six different flavors to chose from. We also ordered the Sliced Beef with Black Pepper. The beef was so tender and juicy, paired with onions and bell peppers in a savory, black pepper sauce. Then we ordered Dry Pot Cabbage, a mouth-watering Sichuan dish that you have to try. For our last course, we had the Yang Chow Fried Rice, the best I have ever tasted. Thank you, Hot Fish. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, and the staff and service were exceptional. I highly recommend dining here when you are looking for a great Sichuan experience.“

“I highly recommend their famous pork spicy appetizer. It was our 4th times in this place. I would say their meat is high quality because you can tell from the flavor itself. This is our couples favorite Sichuan place. Tonight, we tried SeaBass Mala it was delicious but too spicy but we’ve finish it 😄😛😋“

“Walked in for a quick luncheon on my day off. I was seated in the front section by Michelle. Thoroughly enjoyed the preps- different flavors and excellent presentation. Attentive and friendly service by Michelle was impeccable! A bit too loud neighboring tables, but food and service was decadent. Eclectic menu. Can’t wait to be back and try their other dishes. Ty Michelle for your suggestions. Shredded tofu & Ravioli are a win win‼️ Pyramid dessert is to kill for…😉😋😋😋❣️“

“Best Szechuan restaurant in New York, hands down. The food was outstanding—bold, authentic flavors, perfectly cooked, and every dish was packed with spice and depth. What made the experience even better was Andy, our waiter. He was friendly, attentive, fast, and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. Great food, great service, and definitely a place I’d come back to again. Highly recommend.“

“Believe in the hype- the mapo tofu really is delicious. It’s also a gigantic portion as well & the price is great. Do note that it is quite spicy- yes mapo tofu is typically spicy but I did find this to be particularly spicy haha. Mark, one of the servers, was attentive without being overbearing and just was good vibes all around. I’d definitely come back to try other things on the menu.“

“After working extremely hard all day, all I wanted was a good vegan meal.
My original plan was to visit Spicy Moon on 8th Avenue, but due to technical difficulties and staffing on their end, I ended up heading over to the West 3rd Street location instead. No complaints from me. I'm not about problems, I'm about solutions, and Spicy Moon West 3rd became the solution.
As soon as I called to make sure they were open, I spoke with the one and only Khalil, who was the real deal. Professional, welcoming, and helpful from the very beginning.
When I arrived, Khalil welcomed me in, and Ole was there as well. I sat down, ordered my meal, and enjoyed every bite. The chili noodles and ramen reminded me of my time in Chiang Mai, Thailand. I wish it came with Chiang Mai prices, but we're in New York City, and that's another story.
What mattered most was the experience. From beginning to middle to end, I was a satisfied customer.
This wasn't my first positive experience with the team. I remember my first encounter with Ole and Jorge, and once again the customer service, hospitality, and food did not disappoint.
The ramen was absolutely amazing, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the service was on point.
Shout out to Ole, Khalil, and Jorge for making sure a long day ended on a high note.
A satisfied customer.“

“They do traditional Chinese food and Western Chinese food, and they do all of it really well. We are fans of the general tso chicken, mapo tofu, whole steamed fish, dry pot pork and cabbage, beef lo mein noodles and fried rice. The meat they serve with the noodles were plenty for a single serving. Love a good Asian restaurant that serves hot tea on the house too. I’d come back for the steamed fish too instead of trekking to flushing for it. Ambiance is subtle with a few statues and huge waterfall. We did a lot of deliveries there and decided to dine in and it seems like a quaint place for dinner with wood decor and a huge tree too. Service is so friendly. The pig steamed bun were very good too, not too sweet, the way we like it. Highly recommend for a nice affordable Chinese cuisine.“

“I got the spicy beef noodle soup and the dumplings in chili oil. I thought the soup was decent. I would have preferred it spicer and there wasn't a ton of beef in it. The broth wasn't super rich, but still had decent flavors. One of my favorite things about the soup were the pickled(?) bamboo shoots. It was actually probably my favorite thing in the soup! The dumplings were really good! The chili oil was another star of the meal and I ended up added some into my soup for more spice and flavor.“

“Places like this barely exist in Midtown anymore. Land of Plenty feels like a true neighborhood spot. The restaurant is modern and clean and the Chinese food is absolutely delicious.
We showed up with a group of ten and they were able to accommodate us without any issue. The service was fun, friendly, and attentive the entire night. The bar also looked like a great place to hang out.“

“Very good quality 麻辣干锅 (spicy-numbing dry pot) and other Sichuanese cuisine. Heat scale is 1 through 5. We asked for 4; but we should have asked for 5.
We had book tripe with two different mushrooms. Also cucumber salad, Dan-Dan noodles (担担面), and spicy garlic eggplant. All delicious. FOH staff friendly and helpful.“

“Food was great. Good place to go for Chinese food. Ambience was normal, and service was okay. But the problem is that they have 2 menus- 1. Dine-in menu 2. Takeout menu and the pricing in either menu was different, takeout menu had a higher price and they had charged us based on takeout menu even though we dined in.“

“The best budget friendly place for a hot meal that's reliable and consistent in this area. Amazing food presentation and freshness for such a low price. I don't know how this place isn't PACKED. Great service, the female cashier is wonderful. Super fast food service. Tons of table seating. Basement level restaurant that's hidden by a staircase but amazing.“

“Good food and friendly service! The takeout and delivery services are also super speedy! They’ve recently renovated and changed the interior which we thought has improved the ambience. “Always passed by this place... what a mistake. I was amazed by the szechuan food!!! The spicy spliced fish // the fish cabbage soup // bokchoy is so flavorful. It's a hole in the wall restaurant, of course service isn't going to be michelin star grade. but the food is authentic flavorful and relatively cheap for the area, and the serving size is impressive. will keep going back, will bring friends.“

“Ours was a party of six and we were seated at an ideal table, a bit private, toward the back. We ordered about 6-8 appetizers to share ( and were given the perfect quantity for all to enjoy) & about 12 main dishes (too much food but happy to take leftovers home). All of the food was fresh and absolutely delicious. And the service was flawless. Food was served at the perfect intervals. What a wonderful restaurant! We are picky New Yorkers—plus two out of town friends—so our standards are very high for Chinese food. And the bill was very reasonable for so much food. A+++++“

“Good food! 2 people on a late Sunday lunch could be walked in. The dan dan noodles were spicy, but I wouldn't mind getting it again. Fried scallops were crunchy texture. Scallion pancakes and hot&sour soup wasnt bad either. But Iwould go for the noodles more.“

“Very solid and consistent, I always look forward to stopping by here when at the mall or frankly in the area. ~$20 entrees with reasonable portion sizes and quite tasty, especially in comparison to the average rando suburban Chinese restaurant. The interior decorations are nice to admire as well, definitely worth a visit and definitely deserves more than a 3.7“
