“Finally went to Moono and it delivered. Each dish held its own with unique flavors. We had a la carte among four of us with a bottle of makeoli and were happily filled with 1 appetizer and 3 entrees. We ordered an extra bowl of white rice which is the move as so many dishes had excellent sauces that you just wanted to soak up with rice, plus the white rice itself is perfect with a sweetness to it.

We had Hoe Muchim + Kim, Beef Hotpot, Mushroom Sotbap, and Galbijjim. It was outstanding from the cold cucumber soup at the beginning to the end. Beef hotpot is great for those who appreciate that pure beef taste and experience- it is lightly seasoned and in my opinion a great contrast to the big flavors of Galbijjim. Galbijjim is a crowd pleaser and easy to enjoy, it is a most indulgent version with meat removed from the bones. We only wished the dish were layered with more vegetables / mushrooms, which were not side characters in this dish. Sotbap was fragrant - only wished that they scooped out the crispy bits, which are the best parts. Maybe they can offer guests the option to serve themselves rather than take away and return with the scooped out bowls for each person.

Also would love to see more makgeolli options on the drinks menu.

“a few weeks ago, went to the Merrmaid oyster bar on the upper West side had a fabulous meal awesome bartender…… the calamari and shrimp and avocado sliders were amazing ….. had dinner again last night at the Mermaid oyster bar in Times Square both Food and service were amazing… it’s a must to have the Chunu, wellfleet & naked, cowboy Oysters.. Shanghai spareribs and kale salad with chorizo crusted Chatham cod was fabulous…. lastly, linguine, and clam with the lobster roll was my favorite throughout the night…..“

Very welcoming and cozy, modern Thai restaurant with the South East Asian flare you'd be looking for if having visited Thailand before. Decor is a mix of modern and traditional which gives a nice feel, ambiance is relaxed.

I was greeted with friendly & warm smiles and seated at the spacious bar area where Yatika helped me decide food/drink choices. I can vouch for the excellent food quality and selection (Northern Thai & Bangkok) having ordered Khanom Jeen Nam Ngiao & Tom Kha soup

At first our waiter was a bit stiff and stand offish but he opened up and was professional. The location is beautiful and so is the space. “Took my visiting sister there on a Tuesday evening. She was taken aback by the level of service that made us feel like VIPs! After getting a great window seat, my Sis jokingly said, "How romantic, too bad I'm here with my brother". Our gorgeous server Michelle was spectacular. She made multiple trips to the bar to find 'just the right wine' for my sister's particular taste and made two special requests to the kitchen on our behalf. Michelle's calming presence and 'in the moment' attitude made us feel very special. Being an intellectual herself, Michelle engaged with us most excellently in conversation. I've had a few nice meals before at the Chart House, but this by far was the best experience ever thanks to Michelle.“

“I absolutely loved my visit to this seafood boil restaurant! I ordered two pounds of shrimp and crayfish, and everything was perfectly cooked — fresh, juicy, and packed with flavor. The seasoning was amazing. I also loved that they give you a free side when you order two pounds or more — such a great deal! The corn and potatoes were soaked with all that rich sauce and tasted incredible. The staff were super friendly and checked in often to make sure everything was perfect. I found Saar online, it was less than a block from our hotel so we figured we'd give them a try. So glad we did. Nice place. Great, friendly service (Karim is the man!), and excellent food. I ended up cancelling the reservations I made for night 3 and we went back to Saar. Give them a try if you like Indian food. It was amazing!“

“The trout is the best in the area. The servers can be unprofessional and rude. When asked to tie back their hair, the request was refused. A nonsense response of not required was insulting. As an experienced service trainer, the hair in question should have been restraining. Health department requirements override a servers vain attitude.“

What an absolute treasure this Algerian family-owned restaurant is! From the moment you walk in, you can feel the warmth of genuine hospitality and the pride they take in every dish.

We feasted like royalty on a whole grilled snapper—beautifully seasoned, perfectly charred, and large enough to feed four of us comfortably. The broiled swordfish was equally outstanding—succulent, flaky, and kissed with just the right amount of smoke.

The linguini with shrimp and clams in a red sauce was fantastic—rich, aromatic, and bursting with flavor. And the Calamari Provençale? Hands down the best calamari we’ve ever eaten—tender, flavorful, and absolutely addictive. Even the octopus, often tricky to master, was melt-in-your-mouth tender and grilled to perfection.
