“Very small quaint space. It was packed with people but hostess found a table for us. My friend and I relished the menu and over ordered because everything looked so good. Excellent dumplings! We even got their Bahn mi and LOVED THAT !! We also each had their delicious vermicelli dishes. I know we over ordered and glad we did. EXCELLENT Vietnamese cuisine.“

“WonderPho is wonderful!! We found this restaurant on our recent visit to NYC and it has to be one of the best Pho restaurants we've been to in the country. “what an outstanding Vietnamese restaurant and hidden gem I found near my hostel while touring New York Central Park area. I ordered the fish noodles with extra bread donut and the bowl portion was huge I felt so full from it. They have my go to classic Vietnamese dishes like Pho, beef vermicelli noodle combo, Com Tam as well as Banh Mi. There are also some exotic small dishes I have never seen before so very original. The friendly reception and staff were excellent and the atmosphere was special with almost a full house for dinner. I will be going back for dinner tonight.“

“JoJu puts a modern spin on the Vietnamese sandwich, and I’ve enjoyed it several times now. One thing that stands out is their finely shredded đồ chua instead of the more traditional hand-sliced pickled carrots and daikon. It gives the sandwich a different texture and a milder flavor, which may actually be more approachable for people who find stronger pickled flavors off-putting.

I also appreciate their choice of bread. It still has a good bite, but it’s not overly sharp or tough the way some banh mi bread can be, which makes the sandwich much more enjoyable to eat.

The proteins are very well seasoned and marinated. You can really taste the lemongrass and BBQ notes, and overall, it’s a great product. I’m leaving 4 stars only because I added lemongrass chicken to the BBQ pork banh mi, and the extra protein portion felt a bit light considering the added charge. I understand it’s a small business and costs are always a factor, but as a customer, I’d probably skip the add-on next time unless the portion is a little more generous.“

“I honestly can’t remember how many times I’ve been back to this place, but that probably says enough on its own. The food here is genuinely excellent, especially the chicken pho. The chicken is tender, juicy, and full of flavor, and I really like how a squeeze of lime lifts the broth and makes it taste even brighter and fresher. The portions are generous, the service is consistently good, and the restaurant is always clean, well-kept, and nicely decorated. I often come here for lunch with my coworkers, and it has become one of those reliable spots we keep returning to. If there’s one downside, it’s that the restaurant only opens from lunchtime onward, so sadly it’s not an option when I’m craving a good bowl of pho in the morning.“

“I got the OG Pho. It was fine. The flavor was somewhat savory sweet but ultimately just fine. Pork belly bao was similarly savory and satisfying. The hoisin sauce definitely helped.

The best part was the service. Efficient is the best way to describe it. I barely got to talk to my friend because the food was there first.

“Pho has great flavor and there are a lot of boba options to choose from. One small recommendation could be to allow people to customize the sweetness of the boba.

Knocking off a star because this place is quite slow. It consistently takes 20-30 mins for pho to come out even when the store is empty. The employees look like they’re working hard the whole time, so I think management probably should try to figure out a way to speed things up operationally.

“Found a solid spot inside LIC Food Hall — Pho Vital 🍜
They have lots of options and combo meals that are actually worth it. We got the lemongrass chicken rice and grilled pork vermicelli, both super flavorful and surprisingly light. The chicken was so juicy and well marinated, and everything came with fresh veggies on the side.

Also tried the warm ginger apple tea and Thai tea — both hit the spot. Perfect place for a refreshing meal when NYC weather gets hot ☀️“

“TC’s Little Taste of Saigon was an absolute five-star experience from start to finish.

My wife and I stopped in and were blown away by both the food and the warmth of the place. We ordered the pho with medium rare meat, spring rolls, and the chicken stir fry — and every single dish delivered.

The pho broth deserves special mention. You can immediately tell it’s made with care and time. Rich, aromatic, and deeply flavorful without being heavy — the kind of broth that keeps you going back for “just one more spoonful” until suddenly the bowl is empty. The medium rare beef was tender and perfect, and the balance of herbs and freshness brought everything together beautifully.

“A friend suggested this place to us while we were eating at another Vietnamese restaurant. Came for lunch. Ordered a few things to try. Spring rolls, beef satay, spicy chicken wings, a bahn mi, and a pho. The food was not bad, however, there we things that made me lean towards not enjoying the meal.
The spring rolls were ok. They did fall apart easily, and the peanut sauce bordered on almost being peanut butter as it was so thick.
The beef satay was good in itself, but came with more of the thick peanut sauce and not a satay sauce.
The spicy chicken wings were overly salty, as i found myself eating them along with the lettuce spread underneath them to calm the saltiness down.
The bahn mi... I was really let down. The bread was similar to a large hot dog bun. Not crispy. Not fluffy. But more like a processed bun. It ruined the whole thing. And its a shame because the insides tasted really good.
The pho. The broth was the overall winner. My husband would come back just to order the broth. But he mentioned the meatball was more like an Italian meatball and not at all like the bouncy asian style of beef balls he was used to.
The service was very polite and quick. But the food was an overall miss.“

Got amazing service for my takeout order. The woman taking my order answered all of my questions and they immediately began working on my order. Once I ordered, she immediately walked to the back to make the coffee I ordered.

I also always feel at ease when I see staff taking their lunch break inside. One person (out of many!l was taking their break, and they were enjoying the food.“

“I really enjoyed the pho, especially the broth. It was very good. The portions are pretty generous and the prices are quite reasonable for the area. Their chili oil was also homemade and quite good. They have a small amount of seating but it is a tight-knit spot so during busier times you may prefer to get takeout or delivery instead.“

“I wish i can rate more than 5 stars, I’ve had pho all over the US and their Shirt Rib Pho has been the standout w no doubt. Service is warming, and price is good regarding how GIGANTIC their short rib is (i would always have to take some home each time). “I have found this place by chance. It's quite close to my place, but if you don't really look for it you won't find it. It's take out only. They have pho, bun bo, ramen and curry soup, along with bahn mi and other bowls. I loved the beef pho, and I really appreciate how they adjusted it to my taste. The portions are huge and the price is the best around. I would recommend trying all of their soups!“

“I stopped into Pho Avenue in Midtown East a place that delivers every time. It’s small, low-key, but it has the kind of neighborhood feel that makes you want to duck in any chance you get!

The staff was quick and friendly, and my bowl of beef pho came out steaming hot in just a few minutes. The portion was generous, and they don’t skimp on noodles or herbs. That said, the broth leaned more on the mild side, clean, light and delicious!

If you’re in Turtle Bay or Midtown East and craving something warm and comforting, Pho Avenue hits the spot without the wait or hype of bigger restaurants.“

Papaya salad veggies were super fresh. And the portion size?? AMAZING!! recently portion sizes at restaurants sizeably decreased especially for salads. But this place surprised me!!
