“This cute little "hole in the wall" is truly a hidden gem! While in reality, it's no hole in the wall at all. You actually feel like you're in a small shop in India when dining-in with the colorful decorations, background music and overall setup of the restaurant. Not to mention the food, which was absolutely amazing! Very tasteful chaat and small dishes, each with it's own little twist. I got:

-masala chai
-mango lassi
-Chinese Frankie (get it on a paratha)
-Chili Cheese Corn Grilled Sandwich
-to top it off, get their Chocolate Pan - it was bomb!

Had the sunflower linguini most recently- what a great marriage of flavor! Pesto based heavy on the garlic which I loved. We started with the whipped ricotta with flat bread- nice consistency and the thinly sliced grapes add a pleasant texture and taste.

Service was awesome. Very attentive- helpful with menu suggestions and prompt.

Overall this has been a nice find as I’ve only been to Jersey City twice. It’s right next door to White Eagle and a great opportunity to combine dinner with live music.”

Chef Brian Kim, the owner of Ondo, also created the Michelin-starred Oiji Mi in NYC—so it’s no surprise that this spot is just as impressive. Ondo offers a tasting menu that’s a more affordable yet equally delicious alternative to Oiji Mi. It’s a fantastic way to experience elevated Korean cuisine without the Michelin price tag.

Chef Brian also owns other restaurants, including Domo Domo, and Ondo is a wonderful addition to his portfolio. The restaurant is co-owned with his wife, who leads the pastry program, adding a sweet finishing touch to an already amazing meal. Definitely worth a visit!”

“I happen to walk by and saw this spot and I thought it was brand new so I decided to try it out when I saw their outside advertisement for halal Moroccan tacos. I didn’t know what to expect but it was absolutely delicious. The sauce was perfect, it’s unlike the hot sauce or white sauce that you would get on the platters. It’s something different and really nice. Not spicy but flavorful. It’s kind of Ike a quesadilla/taco/burrito mixed together. So delicious. The chicken was perfection. Also.. the fries were great. Crunchy but soft inside! I was truly impressed with this meal and I think it was about $12 with a drink. Inside there’s plenty of room to sit and the atmosphere is very laid-back. I like how they had all the flags up and some Moroccan decor. They even have hot coffee. I’ll be back to try their platters and see how that goes but they definitely got me with the Moroccan taco!”

It is a hidden gem in the heart of JSQ. The owner is very down to earth and a people person. You won’t step out of that place without a smile. She will make your drink according to your preference. You can make as many adjustments as you’d like and she will do it with a smile.

We ordered 2 Oreo shakes and a latte bubble tea. I ordered them in M size, but she gave me in L size? and still charged me for M. My kids loved their Oreo shakes and I very much enjoyed my latte. I can’t wait to go back and try the other bubble tea flavors and the waffles and crepes.

I tried their signature naanizza which is a fusion of naan and pizza. Both the chicken tikka and super supreme naanizzas were delicious. Even though I got stuck in traffic and had to reheat them at home, they still tasted great although I imagine they would be even better fresh out of the oven. I also tried the halwa naan for dessert which was decent but not something I would order again. “I always thought of this place primarily in terms of takeout but I had my daughter's first birthday there a couple of weeks ago and would be remiss not to share what a wonderful experience it was on all fronts. First of all, as other reviewers have noted the food is incredible. Every single person in our party raved about their meals--mostly pizza orders, but I had a hot sub and I could not devour it fast enough, it was so delicious. Quality ingredients and really authentic preparation. Beyond the great food though I want to highlight what a lovely experience we had at the establishment. The restaurant was so accommodating to our needs--they let us bring in our own decorations and cake, even let me come in early to set up, and it really made the day feel special and personal. Unlike most other places, they also let us relax and enjoy ourselves. We lingered for a while and at no point did they make us feel like we needed to wrap it up and leave. As the mother of the birthday girl it really meant a lot to me, and I don't think I would have gotten that experience anywhere else. Finally, I'd like to compliment the staff who took such good care of us--they were professional and friendly and continuously offered to help with whatever we needed. We were a party of 21 including four little kids so I'm sure at points we were a lot to take! But all we received from the staff were pleasantries and smiles. I'd recommend to anyone not just making this your go-to pizza place for takeout, but thinking of them for your next gathering as well. “This cute little "hole in the wall" is truly a hidden gem! While in reality, it's no hole in the wall at all. You actually feel like you're in a small shop in India when dining-in with the colorful decorations, background music and overall setup of the restaurant. Not to mention the food, which was absolutely amazing! Very tasteful chaat and small dishes, each with it's own little twist. I got:

-masala chai
-mango lassi
-Chinese Frankie (get it on a paratha)
-Chili Cheese Corn Grilled Sandwich
-to top it off, get their Chocolate Pan - it was bomb!

EVERYTHING was 10/10. I loved the food so much, I get went again the next day.
