I needed the restroom right away, and the bartender, Orlando, kindly escorted me to it, making me feel so welcomed. Once we were seated, the food started arriving, and I was blown away. The chef here is absolutely amazing. Her dishes are not only delicious but also incredibly well-prepared. The unique flavor combinations and creativity are outstanding. I couldn’t rate the food 5 stars as my steak was not the one I ordered and the meat was chewy. I didn’t rate the atmosphere 5 stars either as the place is quite small and not too much space to stand around while waiting for a table. If in the area, I do recommend stopping here for some authentic Cuban food.”

We had black rice with beans (Moro), pork shoulder (Pernil), chicken and steak skewers, garlic shrimp, chicken and beef empanadas and sweet plantains. And yes, all of it was mouthwatering good. I was sold when I went for a quote and was given a chicken empanada to sample. So juicy! I highly recommend them for your next event, lunch or dinner. “I had eaten food from Stella's before and was please with the food I purchased. However I was extremely impressed withy current order. I ordered a slice of pizza and fettuccini Alfredo. YUM I KNOW!
The pizza was typical yet the taste was amazing. I am not sure if the shell is made fresh or frozen, but when fresh or frozen, they have made a good choice.

The fettuccini Alfredo was just as good!

The only issue I have is that when you call there to ask to see if they a certain item the woman who answers the calls does not answer kindly but gets annoyed and hands up.

Oh and there's a small little outside area that's pretty cool as well. Shaquille (hope I spelled it right) was AMAZING! So down-to-earth, friendly, polite, and easy to talk to. She made me the Tumeric latte for me and I all but licked the cup clean. I had the hummus & cucumber on sourdough toast and it was divine. Also, a great option for vegans. “Very good tacos at a very fair price. These are probably some of the best seafood tacos I’ve ever had, even better than once I’ve had in California or Mexico. The large shrimp with cheese taco is by far my favorite, the ceviche is also good, and the restaurant itself is always packed with a lot of energy. I’ve ate in there in person, I’ve only ever picked up food, which is very efficient with them and fairly quick.”

“What a lovely breakfast/brunch place on West Side Avenue. Customer service was wonderful and food was yummy and affordable. Would have liked some background music personally but otherwise a really great place!!”

“This place is busy, but worth the wait! The menu system is online and looks really clunky, but with the help of Google review photos I settled on the pan fried noodles and braised pork hock (which is highly recommended). The pork comes in a dark, rich savory sauce (they mentioned after it can also come in a garlic Sichuan that is sweeter). The noodles were fresh, with soft scramble eggs and a tang I couldn’t identify. Very good. And the pork literally fell off the bone and the skin was unctuous and filled with collagen and flavor. Would’ve loved some soy sauce at the table, but all in all staff is friendly, the space is airy, and the food is insanely good.”

“We visited our friends in Newport last weekend and decided to try Blue Anchor for brunch after seeing its great reviews on social media. The decor is bright and clean, with a beautiful view of the river.

Overall, the food was delicious with reasonable prices and generous portions. Our favorite was the flavorful, juicy burger with perfectly balanced ingredients. The fried cod in the fish tacos was also crispy and satisfying.”
