“Ordered a couple dishes from here on door dash for the first time and I am impressed! The food was absolutely delicious, not one complaint about any of it. I didn’t know what to expect because the prices are so low and you just don’t see that anymore, the chicken combo was only $9. The portions are generous and even though some of it is deep fried NONE of it is greasy. Will definitely stop by next time to try more dishes.”

“Lived in Kearny for quite some time but only went here a few times and honestly I wasn’t crazy about the food. Not that it was bad but I always always always ordered the empanadas & for some reason, the inside was always cold. I ordered other food & it was good. But it’s a great atmosphere & never seen problems or fights, cosas asi but the only complaint I definitely will say is the music. I absolutely love when bars have the music videos up or videos of live shows, but stop playing boleros at a bar. People are drinking. Wanting to have fun. Playing boleros makes people wanna kill themselves lolol. It’s super depressing. Even though the songs are great but not for a bar. Consider doing a digital jukebox where the customers pick strictly, la musica latina and you’ll most likely definitely get a bigger clientele. I know I would waste my money on it lol. But would 110% go back. Shiiiii….. I just went tonight! LoLoL. 🤙🏼🤙🏼🤙🏼🤙🏼”

I had a cute waitress who was very patient with me (asked to repeat herself like 5 times causeof her accent).I ordered a double cheese tudo with fries and a passion fruit drink. I already knew it was going to be expensive so i asked if the burger is big. She said its deff big and she wasn't lying. Damn that burger was huge. Is it five guys huge? Either about the same or almost but it was delicious. It was loaded with bacon, egg, potato chips etc. Fries was crunchy with soft inside. Just right. Kind of like popeyes or checkers fries. 9/10. It was $32 with tip. Ill come back again sometime”

“Very casual atmosphere, I went during my break at work to get a quick bite. The pepperoni slice I got was thin which I really liked. I also got 3 garlic knots which were a little tough, it came with marinara which made fixed it. Wish they were softer but then again, can’t complain w the prices since they were amazing.
Perfect spot to go on your break or to get a quick bite.
Owner was really nice.”

“Been going here since I was a kid and the restaurant was a small spot. Their food progressively gets better as time goes on. I love stopping in to visit, but I mostly order delivery. Their staff are kind and on point.”

“First time here. Apparently opened today, 11/13/21 and I'm happy I stopped in.I had the blueberry muffin smoothie and it was very good. Tasted like a liquified blueberry muffin. I think it was on point. I also had the crepe and that was also amazing. I'm picky with food and sweets and I did not mind paying for what i got. Well worth it.And the folks that own it and run it are super nice and friendly. They offer lots of discounts to repeat custys and for referrals. They also do raffles for gift card giveaways.And the place is super clean and very cozy.Try it if you are in town or live nearby.”

“In a rapidly changing world it's refreshing when good things stay the same. In September 1990 I moved from Newark to Kearny and on that weekend I experienced the great subs and service at D&F deli and was very happy. 35 years later it's the same, maybe even better. I'm diabetic now so I can't enjoy bread as much as I would like but the staff is kind and make a sub salad for me. I go in the later afternoon and it's a virtual all star team that serves as the staff. Anthony, Justin, Brandon, Emily and Debi are unique wonderful human beings who make everyone feel like family. The person who helps make these individual all stars into a cohesive team of Avengers is their inspirational leader Zack. He's the straw that stirs the drink. Zack serves as a mainspring does in an old fashioned watch and keeps everything working perfectly. Zack is a very kind human being with a big heart, the size of a 6 foot sub. Highest possible recommendation for D&F deli. Go there, you'll be happy you did.”

“Been going there since Middle School. I love the food and the portions they have it is a good price for a portion and the staff there are lovely people.

Dietary restrictions: I have some dietary restrictions such as no cheese or no tomatoes and I know how weird tomatoes are to have as a dietary restriction but they accommodate and or at least tell you what to avoid eating.

Parking: Parking spots I think there is 2 infant of the location 3 across the lot and below the street on the side where the location is there is probably 4

Kid-friendliness: It has a table to keep the kids calm as well as these coin machines and I've seen once where they helped a lady who had a baby stroller sit and help her with a chair as well put the baby stroller away so it wouldn't disturb the other customers.”

For what it is and the prices are good they deliver quicker than any other food establishment in town that I order from. Honestly no complaints”
