“Just visited the pequannock location. It was DELICIOUS! The staff were very nice. The place was clean, neat, tastefully decorated and very comfortable. They have an endless menu of delicious desserts! We will definitely be going back!”

“I came here twice while visiting my friend Rafa, and it was probably better than the food I had in Brazil! The first time we ordered a Salmon Treats for an appetizer to split. The plate came with four salmon balls in a delicious sauce. We also each ordered a chicken salad, and at $16, it was biggest, most delicious chicken salad I ever had!

The second time we came back we ordered Top Sirloin Strips as an appetizer, and also split the Fettucine Alfredo & Chicken. Both were delicious and large portions for the price. The waitresses were all pleasant to be served by, and I was even introduced to the owner, Wesley, this time.

Great place, and next time I come to Kearney, I want to do the karaoke!

EDIT: I came back again last weekend (Sept 12-14, 2025) twice while visiting my Brazilian friend who loves to come here. I had many of the same delicious plates I had the last time, and they did not disappoint. I also came back on a Sunday and got to do karaoke, and the DJ was the best karaoke DJ I’ve ever experienced. He could find any song we wanted, and could even sing himself! I’ll be back for sure!”

“I have never been an Applebees person but I went there with my granddaughter and found that the food menu is better than it used to be. I had the shrimp and sausage with penne pasta. SO GOOD…
The drinks are still a bit “weak” but they were good tasting. The service was good too considering that our waiter had a whole section to work by himself.
Overall, I enjoyed the food, atmosphere and service. I will be returning again.”

“We had the pleasure of dining at this Portuguese restaurant for the first time, and it was such a delightful experience! The food was incredibly flavorful and felt so authentic—every dish was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. The portions were very generous, with each dish easily enough for two people to share. I particularly loved the tender meats and perfectly seasoned gravy. The lovely lady who served us made the experience even better with her warm service. As it was our first time trying Portuguese cuisine, we were thoroughly impressed. We’ll definitely be coming back for another visit!”

“Come for the food, you won’t regret it. Sichuan food at its finest, this is not your typical American style Chinese food. Parking is difficult but there’s street parking nearby. Haven’t had Sichuan food this good outside of Flushing, Queens. Mapo Tofu, lamb cumin, and cold tripe/meat appetizer are 🔝⭐️”

“First time here. Apparently opened today, 11/13/21 and I'm happy I stopped in.I had the blueberry muffin smoothie and it was very good. Tasted like a liquified blueberry muffin. I think it was on point. I also had the crepe and that was also amazing. I'm picky with food and sweets and I did not mind paying for what i got. Well worth it.And the folks that own it and run it are super nice and friendly. They offer lots of discounts to repeat custys and for referrals. They also do raffles for gift card giveaways.And the place is super clean and very cozy.Try it if you are in town or live nearby.”

“Great place to see bands! Been to a few @StompOut and @Poorman shows there and had a blast. As someone who's disabled it's great that they have a table to the side of the stage so someone like me doesn't have to try to see through the crowd to watch the bands.
Staff is friendly and overall, Jimmy's is a solid venue, small enough to be intimate, big enough to accommodate a crowd. I'm a fan.”

“Very casual atmosphere, I went during my break at work to get a quick bite. The pepperoni slice I got was thin which I really liked. I also got 3 garlic knots which were a little tough, it came with marinara which made fixed it. Wish they were softer but then again, can’t complain w the prices since they were amazing.
Perfect spot to go on your break or to get a quick bite.

“A hidden gem. They park outside the LA Fitness in Kearny on weekends. I had the chicken burrito, and it was excellent. Very flavorful and hefty. I appreciate the fries on the side too. Combine the fries sauce and green sauce, it’s divine.”

“This cafe is lovely! The decor is adorable, and there’s a great selection of art and portraits. The food and drinks are also delicious. We had the sausage and veggies omelette with the “Surtido” juice, which is a blend of fruits and oats. It was a tasty treat! We’ll definitely be back.”

“In a rapidly changing world it's refreshing when good things stay the same. In September 1990 I moved from Newark to Kearny and on that weekend I experienced the great subs and service at D&F deli and was very happy. 35 years later it's the same, maybe even better. I'm diabetic now so I can't enjoy bread as much as I would like but the staff is kind and make a sub salad for me. I go in the later afternoon and it's a virtual all star team that serves as the staff. Anthony, Justin, Brandon, Emily and Debi are unique wonderful human beings who make everyone feel like family. The person who helps make these individual all stars into a cohesive team of Avengers is their inspirational leader Zack. He's the straw that stirs the drink. Zack serves as a mainspring does in an old fashioned watch and keeps everything working perfectly. Zack is a very kind human being with a big heart, the size of a 6 foot sub. Highest possible recommendation for D&F deli. Go there, you'll be happy you did.”

“My experience at this Subway was top tier. They made the cookies fresh and they were delicious, the bread and service all together were amazing. If you have a chance to choose between this and another subway, I wholeheartedly think you should make the trip out to meet the wonderful people that work at this subway. They happen to be the most down to earth men and women you’ll ever meet. God bless this subway and the community they have built there, they really treat you like family. “Been going there since Middle School. I love the food and the portions they have it is a good price for a portion and the staff there are lovely people.

Dietary restrictions: I have some dietary restrictions such as no cheese or no tomatoes and I know how weird tomatoes are to have as a dietary restriction but they accommodate and or at least tell you what to avoid eating.

Parking: Parking spots I think there is 2 infant of the location 3 across the lot and below the street on the side where the location is there is probably 4

Kid-friendliness: It has a table to keep the kids calm as well as these coin machines and I've seen once where they helped a lady who had a baby stroller sit and help her with a chair as well put the baby stroller away so it wouldn't disturb the other customers.”

“This is a mom & pop Portuguese lunch breakfast spot . Martha was very helpful she got my homemade spinach soup with a creamy potato base and carrots and spinach throughout tge creamy broth. It was delicious and a comfort feeling kind of soup .I also had a ham and cheese pressed hot sandwich .I picked out a scrumptious Portuguese soft cake pastry which was so yummy and I took a bread and butter to go for later on that day .Everything was excellent and it is an interesting little luncheonette. I will be back .”
