“Really nice vibe and different dishes! Also got the miso blazed black cod with ravioli. We got two for three + other dishes.
Also the spicy rib!!! So good.
Tried to come back last week but I guess it was closed the night I was in town..“

“Nudibranch was outstanding—easily one of the best meals I’ve had in a while. We started with the mushrooms, chicken sandwich, and cavatelli, then had the Denver steak and monkfish as our mains, with scallion pancakes on the side for three people. Every dish was creative, flavorful, and exceptionally well executed.
The chefs are Momofuku alumni, and you can feel that influence in the bold flavors and inventive combinations. Man, I miss Momofuku—but Nudibranch definitely scratched that itch while still feeling entirely like its own thing.
Highly recommend. I’ll absolutely be back.“

“We had such a lovely experience at Ariari! From start to finish, everything was wonderful. Stephen / Steven was fantastic—attentive, welcoming, and genuinely lovely throughout the evening.
The food was excellent. The crab is an absolute must, and the duck was another standout. We thoroughly enjoyed everything we ordered. The cod was beautifully prepared, although I felt it lacked a bit of flavor and didn’t particularly stand out from cod I’ve enjoyed at other fine restaurants.
One detail I especially appreciated was how thoughtful the restaurant was toward children. Having proper plates and cutlery ready for little ones is such a simple yet meaningful touch, and something you don’t often see at NYC restaurants.
Overall, a fantastic dining experience with wonderful service, delicious food, and thoughtful attention to detail. I’d give Ariari a solid 4.7/5. We will absolutely be back!
Thank you, Stephen / Steven and the entire Ariari team, for such a lovely evening!“

“A Vegetarian Gem in Koreatown!
Seoul Food Shop in Koreatown, New York, is a wonderful find—especially for a pure vegetarian like me. It's not often that I find a place with good vegetarian options, but this spot truly delivered.
I ordered the vegetable dumplings with garlic tofu, and they were absolutely delicious. The flavors were spot on, and everything tasted fresh and well-prepared. For just $15, the taste was amazing—honestly some of the best food I've had in this area.
The staff were friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. It's a great spot to grab a bite while exploring Koreatown, and the location makes it easy to fit into a day of sightseeing in the city.
As a vegetarian, finding a place that offers such tasty options at a reasonable price is a real treat. I'd definitely come back and highly recommend it to anyone—vegetarian or not.
Great food, great value, and a great experience.“

“Phenomenal. Its more of a gastro pub, definitely not traditional Korean. Plates are tiny and portions are tapa-sized, but we ordered eight items to share and were full in the end. Corn dumplings were outstanding: the corn was completely mashed and they tasted like soft fluffy pillows with an incredible sauce made of cilantro, basil and mint. Scallops, galbi meatball skewer and waguy spring rolls were amazing. Noodles was the only dish in our order that was underwhelming. Loved their adult capri drinks in a bag. :) but the best last of the experience was the service. We asked for a table outside, which they didn't have, so we were seated by an open window instead, but within 5 minutes, they came and said they had a table outside for us. Everyone was so friendly, warm and welcoming. We will definitely be back to try all the other menu options we didn't get to try.“

“This place is amazing. We tried the fava bean hummus - bursting with flavor and garlic forward (which I enjoy). The steak and grits was so buttery and delicious as well. The ice tea was a surprise stand out as well. To top it all off the service here is unmatched. I look forward to coming back soon.“

“The dishes are tapas style, small and flavorful. I liked the Berkshire kimchi fried rice the most with its popping sensation. The birrira mandus were also memorable. You might not be full after this but if you go not too hungry it’s a perfect amount.
They have $2 off drinks for happy hour until 7pm, which doesn’t make too much of a difference at $21, but it’s a nice edge.“

“Amazing experience tonight enjoying the bar menu. The team created a pitch perfect vibe, it felt like I was at a dinner party with friends (who just happen to be wizards at food and wine tasting menus). The service was exceptional: friendly and familiar yet still very high standard when it came to the details just as any other restaurant of this level. The food had some really standout dishes and the drinks pairings were so boldly experimental and amazing. I won't soon forget my experience at Atomix.“

“Another delicious Korean fusion food restaurant! The Asian influence on American fare such as Caesar salad, tater tots and cheese burger are genius. Inside seating seemed to get loud with the 90s hip hop BGM but it was nice and quieter sitting outside as long as the weather is nice. The service is great and super friendly. The food is top notch delicious. They have a small but nice beer selection. The hazy IPA is yummy. It's a relatively small place but don't miss it and walk on by. It's definitely worth a stop for a bite and a drink!“

“Brilliant Korean spread at Cho Dang Gol in midtown Manhatten. Specializes in tofu dishes so we plumped for the spicy tofu hotpot but also ordered some tasty beef and zucchini pancakes and spicy gochujang chicken. This eatery features on the Michelin guide and is always packed, and rightly so! Maybe a little on the sweeter side for my taste but isn’t everything in the USA? 😜 Regardless, it was stupid tasty and we inhaled everything“

“Just had the cold noodles here. It's one of the dishes that as a Korean, always miss and crave but most places in the US just don't do them right. This place is better than most places in Korea. The noodles are long and impossible to cut, chewy, and the broth is cold and refreshing. Just what I needed“

“Both the food and drinks here are outstanding. The kimchi is probably the best I’ve ever had (and I’m very picky). The portions are generous (not the typical Michelin restaurant type of tiny portions). The service is also equally outstanding. Definitely give this place a try but an advanced reservation is certainly a must.“

“Dining at Joo Ok in New York felt incredibly special to me as a Korean. I had visited Joo Ok in Korea several times with my parents, so I came with fond memories and high expectations. Somehow, the New York experience felt even more refined and memorable. The cuisine has evolved beautifully while preserving the traditional techniques, flavors, and soul of Korean cooking.
Every course was thoughtful, sophisticated, and deeply rooted in Korean culinary tradition. Even the desserts carried a sense of jeong, the warmth, generosity, and affection that are so uniquely Korean. I especially loved the beautiful tableware by Korean artist Myung Wook Huh. The vessels were works of art in themselves, and seeing the food presented alongside pieces by Korean artists made each course feel almost like an artwork of its own. There was a beautiful harmony between the food, the craftsmanship, and the space.
The interior was warm and intimate and made me feel as though I were back in Korea, while the New York city view outside created an almost dreamlike contrast. The service was gracious, polished, and genuinely warm.“

“Had a lovely dinner here on a Monday night. Jay, the chef was awesome! He explained each dish to us, gave his recommendations and suggestions and kept checking on us throughout the meal. Each dish felt well thought out and executed well. The dinner prix fixe menu was great value and we left feeling satisfied and full. We also loved all the different sauces. A delicious and peaceful escape from the craziness around Times Square! Thanks again Jay for a great dinner!“

“3.5 rounded up! We came for the soy marinated crab and were happy with the price, portion, and taste. They do not include the shell but offer a small plate of rice pre-mixed instead. I would also say that their dishes lean on the sweeter side like their seaweed side dish, kimchi, and buckwheat noodles. The server was a bit forgetful and needed a few reminders from us and there seemed to be a team meeting next to our table, which disrupted the atmosphere a bit.“

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ One of My Favorite Korean Restaurants! Seoul BAP is not just another Korean restaurant — the food is absolutely amazing! Every dish is full of rich, authentic Korean flavors with a modern twist. It’s truly one of the best Korean dining spots in the city. The cocktail menu is just as exciting — featuring creative drinks that perfectly match the vibe and flavor of the food. 🍹 Spicy Passionfruit Margarita – bold and vibrant with a Korean-inspired kick. 🥃 Bourbon Bee Hive – smooth, rich, and full of depth. 💜 Lavender Skies – crafted with premium gin infused with butterfly pea flower and lavender, finished with a touch of Amaro — simply elegant. And the newest favorite everyone’s asking for: 🌺 Midnight Hibiscus – a hibiscus-infused vodka cocktail with elderflower and gentle sweetness. It’s beautifully balanced and pairs perfectly with Seoul BAP’s contemporary Korean cuisine. Best enjoyed with Taylor Swift’s Opalite playing in the background! 🎶✨ Come check out Seoul BAP — where Seoul meets style, flavor, and good vibes all in one place.“

“Um, yeah. This was everything it promised to be. Still a little early, but Hojokban is the number one contender for best meal of this trip, maybe this year? Too early to call. This place was on our radar after seeing that fried rice on socials. We went without a reservation, but I’d probably recommend getting a reservation ahead. It was a busy Saturday night. The hostess said our party of two would have to wait 45 minutes, turned out being less than 20. We knew ahead of time we wanted the Ramyun Fried Rice and Hojok Galbi, and that’s exactly what we got. We were pleasantly surprised by the sweet potato and kimchi banchan starter. Highly recommend eating them together. The starch from the potato and the fermentiness of the kimchi is such a great combo. I’ll just tell you right now; the Ramyun Fried Rice is worth the borderline gimmickyness of the presentation and easily the best thing we ate this night. It’s rich, slightly fatty, a little spicy, and so addictive. Please order this. The Galbi is perfectly cooked. I could’ve used a little sprinkle of salt on top, but those little peppers sent it over the edge. Oh, and that little salad on the side? The dressing? I need a mason jar’s worth to take back home to Florida. Go here.“

“I’m used to all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ, so Wooga was my first real experience with one of the more upscale Korean BBQ spots in Fort Lee—and I have to say, I wasn’t disappointed.
Usually when we go for all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ, we end up overeating and going crazy with the meat because you naturally feel like you have to get your money’s worth. Wooga was a completely different experience. Instead of focusing on how much we could eat, we were able to actually enjoy the quality of the meat, the sides, and the meal as a whole.
The service was great, the seating was comfortable, and I really liked the style of grill they use here. We ordered a few different cuts of meat, and I quickly realized you really don’t need to go crazy with the amount you order. The sides come in generous portions, and once you add everything together, you end up with a ton of food.
The quality of the meat was excellent, and pretty much everything else we ordered was spot on. The noodles, fried rice, steamed eggs, and all the different sides were great. The meat did get a little overcooked toward the end, but some people in our party preferred it closer to well done, so I can’t really put that on the restaurant.
After eating here, I definitely understand the appeal of a higher-end Korean BBQ experience compared to all-you-can-eat. You might not have unlimited meat coming to the table, but between the quality of the dry aged beef, generous sides, and overall experience, you really don’t miss it. We ended up with plenty of food, everything tasted great, and I’d definitely come back.“

“Visited on Wednesday night to celebrate mine and my husbands wedding that day and as soon as we walked in we were greeted by lovely friendly staff. We were seated quickly and were introduced to our server. The atmosphere was amazing and the food was fantastic. We opted for the Korean bacon to start and we both had the butchers feast. Outstanding. The steak was beautiful and the dishes that came with it were amazing too. The short rib and egg soufflé were my favourite. Thank you for letting us celebrate our wedding day in your restaurant.“

“I enjoyed the food I purchased at Yummy. The couple who runs this place are extremely nice. I ordered The Ninja. The portions are large. Many times this is achieved by an excessive amount of rice. However, that did not happen here. All the ingredients included in my order were well balanced. The selections are reasonably priced given the size of the portions. All orders are to go.“
