“RAAAAAH this place is a Brooklyn best. Flavorful Ethiopian food with a few twists here and there. The Kitfo plate is our go-to entree pretty much every time. We also consistently get the Lentil Sambusas which come with a fiery hot sauce. If you want something more classic, they have two sandwich options. A Lentil based burger or a Lion’s Mane Chicken sandwich. Both are really good and come with fantastically seasoned fries. If you go for brunch they’ve got a handful of awesome breakfast items like an SEC, Breakfast burritos, and even a vegan vanilla ice cream infused French toast which is a MUST. “Everything is seasoned to perfection here! Easily one of the best burgers (vegan or non) that I’ve had in awhile. Honestly, the only reason I remembered I wasn’t eating real meat was that I didn’t get my usual stomach ache or feel the heaviness of a greasy beef burger. Also the nugs are perfectly seasoned! I’ll be back this week for round 2!“

I always order sesame flavoured versions of desserts, I really enjoy them. I used to live by a Japanese Supermarket and a Korean Supermarket with stalls inside for bakeries. The flavour was a nice toasted nuttiness. I really loved the texture, reminding me of between a soft sugar cookie and a shortbread cookie!

“This was our second time going there. Our daughter goes to Pratt and it's walking distance from the school. It's a small diner but friendly staff. On one of the coldest days of winter the host made sure people were not waiting long for tables as best as she could. The food was good and service was really good. I'm glad my daughter has a place like this close to her dorm.“

“5 stars are not enough to tell you how good this place is. We've been staying in the Franklin Guesthouse (hotel adjacent to Madre) for a couple of nights and decided to give Madre a shot - boy were we in for a treat! Firstly, shout out to Armando, who made us feel immediately welcomed with his warmth and energy! For food, we got the Frutti di Mare, Croquetas, Brussels Sprouts, Cornbread Madeleines (compliments from chef) and Chicken - massive MASSIVE props to Chef Bryan and his very talented team. To say that they cooked "well" would be the understatement of 2022. They absolutely blew our minds with top quality medley of ingredients, depth of flavor, and masterful execution in every way. Cocktails were fun and delectable, which added the perfect "pop" to the culinary rocket ship that Madre served up. Just when my wife and I were ready to call it a night, Chef Bryan and Armando were kind enough to bring out the Pot de Creme for us, which was the bow and ribbon on this very special dinner. My only regret of the night was not having enough stomachs to enjoy more of what Madre could serve up. We will definitely be back! Thank you, Madre!“

“This Thai restaurant in Brooklyn is absolutely amazing. Every dish tasted authentic and full of flavor. I really loved the decoration and overall atmosphere, and the outdoor garden at the entrance is perfect for photos.

I highly recommend the Mook Kung Curry — it’s so flavorful and goes perfectly with rice. The Thai Style Pork Over Rice was also one of my favorites. The pork belly was fried crispy and delicious. Their cocktails were great too, and very beautiful.

Overall, it was a wonderful experience. I will definitely recommend this place to my friends and come back again!“

The staff was attentive, friendly, and went out of their way to make us feel celebrated — they truly made the night special. The drinks were amazing — the Strawberry MyMoon and Lavender Sour were both perfectly crafted and delicious. The food was full of authentic Spanish flavors and beautifully presented.
