“If you want an authentic taste experience, you have to try MrDak. They take pride in three core principles: organic chicken, clean oil, and tasty sauce. ?
With a wide variety of flavors, each bite of their fried chicken is a crispy, juicy, and tender delight! ?✨
They also have variety of other delicious Korean dishes.
We indulged in their Mr. Jjimdak, a braised chicken dish with house specialty sauce, glass noodles, veggies, and rice cake. It was bursting with flavor, and guess what? They even offer a free bottle of soju with this meal! ??
Overall, MrDak offers not only incredible food but also outstanding service. Definitely a spot to check out if you’re a fan of Korean cuisine! ??✨
We ordered
Combo wings and drumsticks
Kimchi Pancake with cheese
Mr JJim Dak ( Braised chicken)
Army stew“

“Overall, the food was tasty, the grilled chicken feet was a bit too spicy for some people. The portion was pretty satisfying. The only thing is that they included taxes in the total but didn't indicate that on the bill, so I calculated the tips based on the total, which means I gave extra tips…“

“We had our lunch here in Auust 2014. We ordered the Korean tofu soup and bibimbap with oyster. The food was perfectly cooked and the service was friendly. It was like home cooking, and the favor would not overpower the taste. The price was reasonable. Will definitely return for this genuine Korean cooking.“

“Very delicious? The ingredients are very fresh! The kimchi is amazing! ! ! I have never tasted such fresh and delicious kimchi! The grilled eel is delicious, fresh and not fishy, charred on the outside and tender on the inside, very good! The lettuce is very fresh, especially the perilla leaves, which are fresh and clean and great! ! !“

“The chicken is nothing short of incredible—crispy, golden perfection on the outside with meat so juicy and tender, it practically melts in your mouth. The secret is in the double-frying technique, which gives the chicken that irresistible crunch that doesn’t quit.
But the flavors are what really set this spot apart. The soy garlic wings are my personal favorite—sweet, savory, and utterly addictive. If you’re a fan of spice, the hot and spicy option packs a punch without overwhelming your taste buds.
Beyond the chicken, the menu offers a great selection of sides that perfectly complement the main event. The pickled radish adds a refreshing tangy crunch, while the sweet potato fries are the ideal balance of sweet and salty.“

“saw this place thru a tiktok video series made by their son and wanted to give it a try for the longest time. they were closed the first time we came but today was the day. we ordered two double smash burgers with fries and a potato korean corn dog. these were probably the best corn dogs i have ever had. these were way better than the ones you get at Tangram or the other food halls. it was crunchy and not oily at all. i absolutely will get it again. the smash burgers were amazing! we were not expecting them to be huge and full of flavor! the owners were so so so sweet and attentive. we decided to try their twisted donut and omg it was one of the best donuts i have had. they were made to order and it was so soft and fluffy inside. the cinnamon sugar was a nice touch to it. i HIGHLY recommend getting the donut ? the owner also brought out two fried oreos covered in their two sugars that they offered for us to try. those were also really good too!! wayyy better than the American version you get at the state fair. will most definitely be coming back and letting others know about this lovely place! ?“

“I visit a lot of Korean restaurants, and I'm a fan of stews and cold noodles, and they're good at budae-jjigae. It was the closest to the taste I had in Korea. The interior was clean and had the feel of a cozy cafe. Good luck to you, owner. I'll come back again.“

“AWESOME KOREAN RESTAURANT IN LONG ISLAND: I’m not a foodie and I don’t think I’ve ever posted about restaurants (but I am Korean) - I have to make an exception for this place. Yes, this restaurant is on Long Island, but the Korean food EXCELLENT (better than lots of places in Flushing) and service is OUTSTANDING. Every dish we’ve tried so far (짜장면, 순두부찌개, 육개장, 제육덮밥) has been so amazing, delicious, and authentic (especially the spices!!!). If you’re ever in the area, please stop in and eat here. It’s crazy awesome! Thanks to my friend for encouraging me to try at a Korean restaurant that is not in Queens. My family will be forever grateful - five stars and 2 thumbs way up from me and my family members. :)“

“It's an original Korean traditional restaurant that's hard to find even in Korea. Haha.

“I have been a fan of their food for the longest time! Even when their location was in the Murray Hill area. The food is always fresh and home made as the owner cooks everything. They really care about the food they serve, which is rare these days! My parents and I always eat well when we're there. They serve you an appetizer of tomato salad with cilantro which is so good. I highly recommend their seafood pancake(it is the best!), their soy marinated crabs, and their tangs(various hearty soups). Honestly, you can't go wrong with anything on their menu. They change seasonally based on what ingredients are currently fresh.“

“Super yummy! I'd only ever had Korean hotdogs once before and these did not disappoint. The store was clean and upbeat and service was quick and friendly. Reasonable prices and a wide variety to pick from. Their chicken teriyaki toast was delicious, too! The strawberry milk boba was a little on the sweet side, but still indulgent and delicious. I'd definitely come back!“

I really had the chance to meet Steve, who was greeting me and my family in this place, and served us with another great guy from the back of the house staff.
You need to try their Mango Green Tea with the Mango Poppers, that burst in your mouth!!! Wow!!!
This is one of my favorite spots in Port Washington.
Give it a try, you will fall in love!
I totally recommend this place and I’ll be back weekly for sure, 2 times already!“

The service is amazing, fast, and customizable as there are different menus for everyone. The sides are delicious and the meats as well, try everything should be the motto for this place because there is a dish you will fall in love with like we have. We love this place a little too much!! 10/10 recommend it’s the best all you can eat hands down.“

“First I worried because it looked not many people inside at 5:30. However each side dishes tasted great. Grilled mackerel tasted so good and fresh. Bossam, steamed pork was good. Ssambab was great with full dishes of fresh vegetables ( I didn’t expect that much because it was winter. All veggies are expensive)Potions enough. I was so satisfied. I will happily recommend this place to my friends. Owner lady looks pride if her food and not so fast but enough kind to refill side dishes. We cleaned all our orders.“

“Very nice restaurant with kind people. We don’t speak korean - but it went just fine with their guidance. The portions are generous and really excellent in quality. Fresh and high quality, and the prices are very good. I will definitely come back again. As noted by others, it’s no longer called Nawabari. Has a Korean sign. Even if you don’t speak Korean, no worries. They are very welcoming and nice! Worth the trip.“

“delicious food, generous portions, relaxing atmosphere and kind service! I recommend their seafood pancake & chicken cutlet if you like crispy foods and the chicken over rice if you like tender meat over rice. the sauces are perfect, not overly salty but balanced, healthy and delightful ? although I'm not a vegetarian they have many veggie options.“

“We were craving for spicy rice cake. We found a new place opened up and gave it a try. There is limited seating, but luckily, we were able to grab seats. We got the set for 2, which includes spicy rice cake, gimbap, fish cake soup, and 4 pieces of boneless chicken. The serving seems small, but for my mom and I, it was plenty for the both of us and very filling. The spicy rice cake is not too spicy it had perfect balance of sweet and spicy. The soup was refreshing and had different types of fish cakes in it. The chicken was crispy and juicy. The gimbap had lots of vegetables, and the seasoning was great.“

“Since crispy cloud came to town, my life has been significantly improved.I LOVE their taiyaki, smoothies and açaí bowls. “Very flavorful beef bone soup.
They only have one item on the menu and they do it right! You can choose mild or spicy.
Side dishes were simple but reminded me of my childhood in Korea. Roasted seaweed, rolled eggs and radish kimchee.
It gets packed most of times so lunch is a good time go.
Parking: Lunch time is easier to find street parking. Meter parking.“
“I wasn’t expecting much at first, but the place is very clean and organized. The vegetable kimbab, fried vegetable tempura, and pollack pancake were all flavorful, with nothing too bland or overpowering. The staff is kind, and this location is very convenient for locals.“

“Posting review while enjoying the food. This place is amazing. Freshly-made kimbap, generous portions for an amazing price, and excellent miso soup. Really had mom and pop shop feel with actual Koreans running it (not that that should matter per se). Everyone behind the counter was so sweet, too. We had the vegetarian and mushroom kimbaps (latter has fish cake) to meet the $10 minimum for paying by credit card, both were very satisfying.
For the price and quality and just the feel of supporting a local shop, I definitely want to come back often.“

“So, I have been trying to try the famous Modoo halal ramen since last ramadan, as always, it was a 30 min wait, understandable they're very busy. We get seated and order our food. There were only two servers for the whole restaurant. We had to keep asking for napkins. Our water was never refilled, and the server forgot the order of the table next to us. The food was incredible, however, which made up for the experience, but seeing as the service was struggling, I was not impressed.“

“My opinion is 8.7/10. Overall good time. Bonchon hit right, over 5 choices. Meat was tender and flavorful. Well priced at $45 for galbi and sides. “Lovely servers. Our family of 8 were not very knowledgeable on korean bbq etiquette but the servers were so kind to help with it. Their small dishes [bonchon?] were all so yummy we asked for 2nd and 3rd rounds. No fuss. Price is quite reasonable too. We ordered the big pork combo and were surprised by the portions. The shop does the BBQ on a clear grill, not sure if it is a gimmick or it actually differs from the traditional metal frames we usually see. They do cook everything quite fast so it was a bit hard catching up once the meats were done. Would come back.“
