“Always a great experience here, whether its with friends, family or a business meal! Everything is top notch! Food, service, ambiance and vibe! Besfort is a very kind and welcoming GM! There are 100's of great restaurants/steakhouses in the Midtown Theater District. OP is in my Top 5! I highly recommend a visit while in this part of the City!!“
“Great service and the best fish tacos I’ve ever eaten, the special ceviche with octopus and shrimp was delicious too. The atmosphere is very authentic, you can see the taco shell being made in front of you, it can’t get any fresher than that!!“
“Some of the best food I’ve had in the city that wasn’t Michelin starred. From the moment we walked in, they way they greeted us and made small talk on the way to our table was lovely and unique. The wine was top notch, music was great and perfect volume. We did end up ordering way too much food, but it was all so delicious.Definitely recommend the Rocketman roll, the octopus was very clean and fresh, every bite felt like the first one. The dry aged bone-in NY strip was phenomenal. I did wish we were told it came with greens so we didn’t have to order an extra side dish. The mashed Yukon potatos were perfectly balanced. The blueberry cheesecake was so light and fluffy, oat crust is key! Could do with a less potent lemon curd, but overall amazing.“
“Great steakhouse! After seeing a musical in Broadway I wanted to treat my husband to a very good steakhouse and ended up picking Gallaghers: well what a great choice!First of all the place is beautiful, old fashioned in the best possible way, and the seats are comfortable. Service is attentive, fun and very professional at the same time. The drinks and wine list are very good, and of course most important: the meat is amazing!I’m used to never really enjoying red meat at restaurants anymore, somehow it’s never the best quality or not cooked properly, I didn’t get this issue at all at Gallagher’s. The meat was tender, perfectly cooked. My husband had the rib steak and I the filet mignon and we both enjoyed our meals so much. The steak sauce is also really good. For dessert I had the pecan pie and it was the best I ever had. I would definitely come back if I get a chance!“
“The food was not bad, has a bit of citrusy taste on the grilled shrimps, very interesting. Recommending calamariFor us, we didn’t really like how quiet it was, the owner seems a bit cold.. maybe he’s a joyful guy, just not on that day..Another thing is, there seems to have no price tag on the goods, it’s throwing us off a bit, cus we came in with a budget, and it confused us to a degree.“
“My absolute favorite Greek restaurant! I love everything about it except the wait on weekends but that’s on us for showing up in large groups. The food is delicious. My go to is the grilled octopus and salad. There’s something for everyone. Go during the lunch special to try different dishes. The ambience is nice and the staff is always friendly!“
“It's lively, the servers are very friendly, and the food is delicious.Porterhouse. Shrimp cocktail. I enjoyed it with lamb and wine.I didn't order dessert, but they kindly brought it to me.It was nice to receive service in New York because it was on the house.“
“I’d say this is one of the best affordable omakase spots in the city. Almost want to gate keep it but I think it’s getting quite popular lately. It is super authentic sushi - very fresh fish and the seasonings added to some of the nigiris are divine - just complements the fish’s flavor and reminds me of home a lot. The itamae san is an old Japanese guy - not very talkative but you can tell he is a shokunin san - dedicated to his craft. Also its byob and theres a liquor store next door.“
“Had the best time at Tony’s! The service was spectacular, we had Gabriel and he was outstanding! We also had the pleasure of hearing another waiter sing opera and it just elevated our experience! Would totally recommend and definitely love to go back next time I’m in town!“
“Our fourth time visiting Hamido Seafood. We love that it’s a casual and inclusive, welcoming environment with a very family oriented feel. You feel cozy like you’re in a fish marketplace in the Mediterranean. The lobster tail was delicious. The fried tiger prawn (shrimp) were perfect. The sides are always good and the mint lemonade has such a refreshing taste.BYOB is a plus.“
“Ama raw bar is a Gem! Recently had a private event at Ama East village for our wedding after party and the food, drinks and space was amazing. Carly was an amazing resource and helped us cater the food and drinks menu from day one. Would recommend for a night out or an event! Thanks so much team!“
“Excellent service. Very fresh seafood ! Definitely coming back next time !Update:Service remains amazing. Continues to have a big selection of food. Our waitress Layla was very attentive and accommodating. She keep coming over to see if we needed anything.“
“I LOVE this place. It’s of course great for brunch or dinner or drinks with the scrumptious food and lovely water view, but we just had our baby shower here and I couldn’t be happier with how I turned out. Working with the restaurant was seamless and SO easy. They have a pastry chef on staff that made THE MOST delicious and beautiful cake and the space they provided us was private, beautiful and they let me take the reins with decor. They even made custom drink and food menus that matched my theme! Additionally, service day-of was impeccable. All this and it was an extremely cost effective option compared to a lot of places in LIC and Astoria. Can’t wait to host another event at American Brass!“
“Taverna is one of our all time favorite Greek restaurants. Excellent and friendly service. Large menu with plenty of options for everyone. I highly recommend the swordfish steak or chicken kebab. We also order the octopus and beets which are classics. We always look forward to our next trip.“
“So I have been to Blue Ribbon before but not since the whole COVID thing. Everything was delicious as expected. It was a group of 5 of us and we got the half-round banquette by the front of the dining room (first time having that table and it is the best seat in the house in my opinion. Our group shared some of my old favorites and tried some new items. Apps we got escargot, bone marrow, foie gras terrine, steak tartar, pork ribs, and watercress salad. All of which were outstanding though I was blown away that the escargot had changed. The old escargot was a shining star in my opinion, but I was over my disappointment quickly with how incredible everything else was. The cocktails we absolutely delicious as well. Though we ordered pretty standard classics in Americanos and Negronis, it was hands down the best Americano I have ever had. For entrees we had the fried chicken, the duck breast special, the duck club, the hangar steak with truffle butter and two sides (asparagus and the collard greens) all of the entrees were superb however I have to call out the collard greens for being disturbingly delicious. We were all shocked at how great they were. These were what the collard green has always aspired to be. One of my guests had a few too many and I was aware of the staff keeping an eye on them. As a restaurant owner, I can't fault them at all and was a bit embarrassed by my guest. We pretty much sped through dessert with just some espressos, a scoop of sorbet and 2 milk punch and vacated the table as other guest were waiting. Out of my guests, I was the only one familiar with Blue Ribbon and I was eager to share this restaurant with them. I was through the roof with how delighted everyone was with their experience. Thank You Blue Ribbon“
“Sup Thai is a neighborhood gem in Fresh Meadows serving up authentic Thai street food!“Sup” in Thai means treasure, wealth, rich materials, or valuable things. As common as street food is, finding good street food is like finding a treasure. They want everyone that dines with them to experience authentic Thai street food & to enjoy Thai food the way Thai people do!The dishes here are absolutely delicious & so flavorful. You have try the crab rangoon, thai dumplings & just everything because they are all a great choice? You can’t go wrong with the Thai classics like noodles & curries but the Short Rib Khao Soi & Angus Beef Crying Tigers are an absolute must? They also have Lunch specials available everyday from 11:30am - 3:30pm which includes 1 starter & 1 entree. Prices vary depending on protein but it’s a great deal!“
“Really excellent food.Pao de queijo was solidPasteis were flavorful and had a great texture, beef was the favorite there.I've had feijoada a few times and honestly never liked it, but I tried it here since our server said it was one of the best things on the menu - she was not lying. Meaty, really well seasoned, and the beef was super tender. The one thing i will say is that the tables are pretty small. I wanted to eat family style with my friend but it was made very difficult by the fact that the two plates take up a solid 70% of the table.Great experience though, best Brazilian food I've had“
“There are many Korean style Shabu Shabu restaurants in NJ. And many good ones. But ShabuRo, perhaps the smallest one, is still my favorite. It’s relatively small restaurant for Shabu Shabu, but this makes it attractive. It’s easier to maneuver around the ingredient section. But what makes this restaurant stands out? The sauce section, especially the 3 special house sauces are so delicious. This makes the difference and became the deciding factor that makes me come here over other Shabu Shabu restaurants.“
“Love this place! The ambiance was a nice, upscale casual vibe, and the food was fabulous. Highly recommend and will def be back. The lychee margarita was delicious. I could've had 5 of them. Agree with other reviews that it's weird it only comes half full. As for food, we loved the crab fried rice, night market noodles, and prawn lumpia. The beef rib wasn't bad either but relatively speaking, the rest were much better. Food came out quick and servers frequently checked in to see how we were doing. All around a great place! Easy to make a reservation on resy though we wouldn't have needed one (we came on a Sunday night around 7:30pm and there were plenty of empty tables).“
“The salads were crisp and refreshing complement. The soups, a comforting highlight, added warmth to the dining experience. A good spot to dine with friends on a casual night. Super friendly servers who were attentive but not overbearing ? The steamed egg was *chef's kisses*“
“As someone who loves mussels, I was really surprised to see the great taste of the soup and the mussel itself. I was not sure if it was celery or something else, but some of the greens were really hard to chew. Although I was a little surprised to realize that they didn't have pad thai, the woonsen was really great and it suited all of our taste. It didn't take long for us to get seated, but I wish there was more interaction with the staffs like asking us how our food was, etc. Mussels with lemongrass $18? Crab Fried Rice $27? Crab AOB Woonsen $30“
“New spot in Bensonhurst with great quality fish! Interior is smaller than I expected but the private booths are roomy. We got the sashimi platter for three, wagyu bowl, omg roll, potato croquette, skewers, and fried oysters. The sashimi platter and wagyu bowl were both great quality and extremely fresh. My favorite of the appetizers were the fried oysters that we ordered another 2 orders of. The omg roll was good but not really my favorite. It has uni inside but I didn't really taste it as everything got overpowered by the eel. I feel like the skewer quality could have been better. I expected the skewer pieces to be cut up and not just one large piece of meat. Overall, great spot and a great addition to the neighborhood!“
“While the restaurant has closed they are operating as a food truck. Please check their Instagram to see their daily location. Lately they have been in bed stuy. This review is for my visit over the summer. We went on a Sunday and received the following: seafood mac n cheese; hot honey oxtail sliders; blueberry cornbread and the Cater 2 U which has salmon, shrimp and crab cakes. No complaints on the food, the portion size or the customer service. Everyone is always nice. I've only met the male owner during my visits and he is the best! Sad to see the restaurant go but happy to see that they are still making food. Definitely check them out when you can.“
“This was our second time at Sea Fire Grill. We were as happpy as the first time with food and service. It was cold outside and they gave us a table next to the fireplace. Perfect! I ordered octopus salad and branzino. Both perfectly cooked. The tiramisu was amazing! Thank you, Sea Fire!!“
“Had a great dinner with a large group at Sagaponack and everything was amazing. We came for restaurant week, and the food and service were top-notch. Between us all, we tried everything and it was all delicious. I especially loved the Gambas, miso hake, and matcha panna cotta. The group also liked the various cocktails they ordered!A couple in the group is getting married soon and the manager came over to congratulate them and even gave us champagne to toast to them! It was so thoughtful.I will definitely be back!“
“This place was absolutely wonderful. Best Ossobuco I’ve ever had. Our server was delightful and and our bartender, Federico (apologies if misspelled), was fantastic! Very well-crafted drinks. The space is narrow, but rich. Highly recommend for a high-quality, intimate dinner.“
“I have to say that the food was amazing and the service even better. Henry was our server and he was a riot totally funny and quick with a smile and service. We had a few tapas that I would definitely recommend like the yuquitas that I mispronounced lol.. we had empanadas both Chicken and Beef excellent choice. We topped it off with the famous Seafood Paella that was Delicious we ordered two and we left feeling like we needed a tow truck. The Sangria get the Big One because it was delish. Definitely a 5 star and will be back for both the food and service. It’s a 4.8 rating and it definitely ? was worth it. Service with a smile ? prices are reasonable. Enjoy… oh wait dessert was scrumptious yes the crème brûlée and the Churros ?“
“Love the Mermaid. Food is so good and the service is great. I have gone mostly to the East Village and the Upper West Side, which I love. The Times Square location is so big that it loses some of the charm of the neighborhood Mermaids, but still very good. It is noisy and they do rush you a bit.....part of the Times Square vibe. Hopefully it can stay true to its neigborhood vibe. Our server was from the UWS location and she was fantastic....“
“You might walk past without realizing it's even there but this Japanese restaurant has a sophisticated drink menu with speakeasy vibes. Appetizers offer unique dishes and flavors that you'll have trouble finding anywhere else. Highly recommend and make sure to get a reservation even on a night you might expect to be slow.“
“Thalassa is Exceptional in each and every way! The decor blows you away as you step into a nautical dining experience. Thalassa means “the sea” and you feel like you are on a journey traveling through the Mediterranean. The Grilled Lavraki (Mediterranean Seabass) or any of the main course fish dinners is amazing. Grilled to perfection and healthily delicious. We are biased because we love seafood, the Greek islands, and the amazing staff at Thalassa. Ask for Gio or Fausto who will give you a supreme fine dine service. A hello to the world famous Chef Ralpheal is a must and of course if by chance like me you run into the owner or his family please say Thank you for having this gem of a place and providing an exotic escape in the jungle of concrete. Thalassa is perfect for everyone and even more so for lovers. Look we know if you come to Thalassa with your heart on your sleeve and let the Sea take you on a journey you will not regret. I have had friends having their weddings here, corporate events, and or just friendly gatherings. Believe me this place rocks and all because of their staff and their detail to an amazing and a worldly experience. Tell them you have to try the zucchini chips, the molten chocolate cake and most importantly tell them that you are looking to escape to a Greek island of awesome!! We love Thalassa and thank you for everything. We always have a fantastic time! They won’t let you down if you don’t let them. Efkharisto!!“
“Absolutely love Capital Grill. The food is cooked to perfection, and the ambiance is warm and inviting. Had the clam chowder, beet salad and lobster tail. Simply delicious. Our server was experienced and professional. I am not 100% certain, but I believe his name was Edgar.“
“In the 2 previous times I had lunch with this same friend at The Capital Grille - Chrysler Center we thought the service was outstanding, and that was the reason why we decided to have lunch again at that place, however we did not have the same experience this time. From the reservation change request to the table service, we did not have the same excellent and attentive service. It was average at best. So now we are not sure if this restaurant will be our no brainer choice, when we want to have a nice lunch experience.“
“Had the pleasure of having Darren G as my waiter and he made my experience extremely welcoming and amazing. He recommended the best ribeye steak ever and was so polite and so attentive. Definitely coming back and making sure I ask for him again.“
“The food was amazing and the service was impeccable! I would highly recommend Marea to anyone visiting NYC. And if you are a resident.....you are lucky to have them there. I recently celebrated my 50th birthday in NY. We were so fortunate to meet Mark and PJ... and were able to get in for a fabulous birthday dinner. Thanks Mark, PJ and Adrian, and all the wonderful people there.“
“Been here several times over the past year. Always delivers. The service was fantastic - when we told our waiter we didn't want to be rushed (old friends catching up) he gave us our space but was always available when needed. He handled us absolutely perfectly. The food did not disappoint - we shared a bunch of awesome appetizers - a flatbread, a salad and ahi tuna. Meals were all great as well. There was plenty to choose from, and daily specials too. And, of course, they have a fun drink menu if you want to imbibe, which we did. Had a fantastic time, it's a great atmosphere, guitar player / singer in the background is super talented and adds to the whole experience.“
“The great taste of the original with a vastly improved ambiance and experience. Of course the ambiance is at an increased price point but that’s worth it. Biryani was delicious, nice presentation, and great quantity. Their menu has sections that especially caters to vegetarians, vegans, Jains - that is quite unique.Vegetarian options: Menu sections for vegetarians, vegans, Jains.“
“Hands down our favorite restaurant in flushing! We were so blown away we couldn't stop thinking about it and drove 2 hours just to eat here again.Highly recommend the mala tofu base, the tofu was super flavorful.Service was also excellent. Pristine balance of attentiveness and privacy“
“We tried the red beans and rice, crawfish etouffee, gumbo, and muffaletta. I'm from New Orleans, and the red beans and rice tasted just like it does at home. The muffaletta was different than what I'm used to but was really good, slightly less oily and had more of a crunch than the original. The gumbo was probably my least favorite, but I would order all the other dishes again. The restaurant is a lot cozier than the outdoor area.“
“We just love it here. The most wholesome delicious food and amazing folks who run it.Very unassuming casual low key place, excellent service, comforting meals. Some of our favorites: crunch tofu appetizer, ssam, scallion pancakes appetizer, bibimbap with tofu, and soy bean paste stew/soup.Must visit - I’d be remiss if I did not write a review.“
“What a great hidden gem! The food is great and extremely fresh seafood! The ceviche mixto was flavorful and great portion to share. The highlight of the meal was the dessert, homemade ice cream that was creamy and unique! Will definitely go back!!“
“If Nick's Bistro offers a Specials Menu when you dine in , you definitely need to give some attention to it. 2nd time dining here within 3 months and I ordered from the Specials Menu. I ordered the salmon encrusted with shredded potatoes, horseradish sauce on bottom of plate... exactly as described. I was enjoying the salmon that I didn't notice that the horseradish sauce was very mild. My bf ordered the bone-in braised Short Rib. It was served piping hot. Literally, 1 rib and beef falling off the bone. Flavor was savory and meaty. Mmm Rice pilaf was good too. Good portions for each item. The staff from entering to leaving are like friends to you. Restroom in the back.“
“The only Michelin star omakase tempura!!It's not cheap at $250 a person before tax and tip but each piece is fried to perfection. It comes at a good pace and its unique setting for omakase. Felt a little hefty after though with all the oil but def worth checking out at least once.“
“Enchanting and pleasant place, perfect recovery of a historic piece and reconversion today an excellent initiative.Dietary restrictions: Specific dishes for certain intolerances or specific requests.Parking: A few hundred meters away there are various paid car parksKid-friendliness: Ideal place for childrenWheelchair accessibility: Suitability for wheelchair users.“
“It was a decent place to try with a big group of people. The individual pot is amazing. Veggies were fresh and the servers were very nice too. I think the highlight was the macha ice cream. The wait was around 20 min on Saturday evening. Arrived around 6 pm. The meat was fresh enough. I would try seafood next time.“
“Catered a tray of wings for my super bowl party the whiskey wings to be specific. Whenever you cater food it’s normal to be weary about the quality, wherever you go, not here and not with these wings. It is now a day after the super bowl and I reheated them, and somehow someway they were better the next time. Absolute 10/10 would recommend to a president.“
“I have visited this restaurant with friends three times in the past week. The service and quality are as good as ever. Special thanks to waiter Xiaokai for his service tonight, which made our dining experience great! I will come here often, and I hope Thirty Seven can keep it up!“
“My husband and I recently stumbled upon this omakase place, and we were both blown away. The quality and taste of every single piece were beyond impressive. The ambiance, with its soothing background music, added to the overall experience, making it a truly relaxing dining affair. And the host/server Katarina was so welcoming and nice. Definitely will come back with our friends.“
“By far a great experience! The mixology this place has to offer is spectacular,. As far as truffle fries will tell you they are great and fresh. This place is really an experience from the moment you walk in and leave your host would make you feel cozy! As cozy as an attic could be with the best quality of food and service.“
“My neighborhood favorite! Everyone is warm and welcoming. Great selection of oysters which are a delight. I love the fish tacos, and shared a lobster risotto special that was unbelievably delicious. And then there is the complimentary chocolate pudding. I recommend it to everyone!“
“A hidden gem in Queens. Word of mouth is really how one finds out about this great establishment for smoked salmon. Competes equally with the bigger well known one in Brooklyn. Carmen is great. Friendly, great service and cuts the salmon like a pro. The smoked salmon is full of flavor. Other highlights here are the sturgeon and baked salmon but the lox is the go to. Decent prices and will be back for all my lox cravings.“
