The atmosphere was perfectly relaxed to enjoy a nice meal without the chaos of a busy restaurant on a Saturday night, and it was one of the best ramens I've ever had! The outer layer of the pineapple bun is super buttery and crispy and the the bun itself is soft and fluffy. The pork inside is tender and was sweeter than I expected but it pairs so well with the little saltiness on the pineapple bun crust.

“The pork soup dumps was a SOLID NINE OUT OF TEN. Was not expecting to walk in here but they had a solid deal of $6.95 for the pork soup dumps specifically. You get 6 in one order. I know what you’re thinking, they look alittle sweaty but they’re good! Temp was perfect where it wasn’t burning your mouth. The skin of the dumpling was nice and thin. Soup was rich, can’t complain. Match this was a coke and it’s the perfect recipe. I got 2 orders. Only down side is that I wish they spaced them out alittle more. They got stuck together . Did loose like 3 dumps that fell apart. Just a rinky dinky place. Unsure if I’ll go back for anything more than the dumps but it was a vibe. They need to get new menus. I saw ALOT of orders fly out there. They must be doing something right“

“I went to Hop Lee for dinner. I went downstairs and was at a table in the basement. This is the authentic experience for sure. I had the jumbo shrimp with garlic sauce. It was excellent and was served with white rice. Orange slices were served at the end. Very good, but cash only.“

“Miss home, so searched up solid taiwanese spot. The pan-fried dumping 鍋貼 ("guo-tie") was exactly how I needed it to be. The popcorn chicken was not as salty as I thought and had a thicker coating than the other ones I have tried in other restaurants. Overall, I was very happy to have visited.

“I went to pick up my To Good To Go seafood boil order. The woman said it’ll be ready in 10 minutes. I waited patiently. I got my food packaged nicely so no leaks would occur. Very pleased with my seafood boil. This was my first boil I’ve ever had and I’m very pleased. 10/10 will come again. I paid $10 for a $30 dollar value seafood boil.“

“Had never been before nor heard of before. Popped in for a small but special occasion celebration ( 3 people ). Everything, with the exception of the horrendous coat girls, was really great. The coat/hostess girls are unintelligible phantoms who mumble w scowls. However once we leave there pointless presence we are to the real start : the Sit-down and Dine.
The food was all great and we went in blind. We also had some great drinks overall throughout and a great waiter as well. Our only regret is not really trying any of the steamed fish, but we will likely be back. Note to Owners-86 those hottendous front coat staff“

“Was starving after one of those New York days where you’re out all day running around and accidentally never eat anything…came in right before closing and they were nice enough to still do a to go order. Got the hand pulled dry spicy chicken noodles and soup dumplings - both were amazing, and exactly what I was craving. High recommend!“

“Alhumdullilah everything is halal here. No frills, nothing fancy here whatsoever but the food will hit the spot for many that work or shopping around the area. It's on 33 Street opposite of Macy's and Madison Square Garden.

I have been coming here for a very long time even before they switched hands. I still continue to patronage here many years later.

It's now the only dine-in halal food place that actually serves Spanish halal food I think as of this review, of the entire Manhattan Island, outside of Mexican Latino halal food that are slowly popping up. The other halal Spanish spot that used to be by Queens Bridge few blocks away from El Ber and who also served halal Jamaican food there too sadly no longer exist and turned into a American halal burger joint before COVID.

In addition to their halal Spanish food menu, they also have American fast food and also a surprisingly pretty good Indian food menu there as well. Just advising everyone food definitely better just around lunch time when it's out the kitchen. Later in the evening doesn't look too fresh or appetizing but hey, sometimes I still come around anyway at that time. And every now and then I'll come for breakfast. And that's good too

“This American Chinese restaurant is awesome! The food tastes great and comes in huge portions—definitely worth the price.

I ordered orange chicken, and it was perfect: crispy outside, juicy inside, with that sweet-and-savory sauce I love. The fried rice had lots of veggies and eggs, not greasy at all.

The service was quick too. We didn’t wait long after ordering, and the staff were friendly when we asked for extra fortune cookies.

The popcorn chicken was cooked to perfection crispy and golden on the outside, but so tender and juicy on the inside that it practically melted in my mouth. The poke was just as impressive; the salmon was fresh, silky, and perfectly seasoned. The tempura was light and crispy.
