“We're hanging out at the dive bar down the road and the bartender there recommended we come here for some good drinks. And my oh my were they good. I never believed in the science of mixology or that a mixologist was a skilled tradesmen. But the old man who made our drinks must have been the Gordon Ramsey of Bartending. Your average bartender is a frycook by comparison. I had a few of their signature cocktails as well as a Manhatten and an old fashioned; my go-to drink so I've had a lot of them from a lot of different places, and never in my decades of life have I tasted such a perfectly mixed old fashioned. It was sublime and I doubt I'll taste its equal again in this lifetime unless I find myself in Kingston again and this man happens to be behind the bar once more. He also whipped up some scratch-made eggnog with alcohol and it was exquisite.“
“Best bookstore in Kingston! I'm not a coffee drinker but I do love their hot chocolate. I order the same thing every time I stop by ( Small hot chocolate and a cookie) .This place is super cozy with an awesome selection of books. If you can find a seat on a less busy day your in luck! It's a chill place to meet up with friends or get some work done. Staff is always friendly and helpful. If your new to Kingston definitely check it out it's one of a kind.“
“This place has a classic American tavern feel. There is bar seating and table seating. There are a couple of sections (a big back section which is where our group of 11 was seated). Food was delicious and they had a couple of options - bar snacks, appetizers, salads/soup, mains. The price of main entrees run from $20-$30. Service was also great.“
“My all time favorite restaurant! Consistently excellent, we have been coming here for 35 years and have never once had a bad meal. Authentic German specialties are out of this world, everything is made with the finest ingredients and is very reasonably priced. “This was such a great find while me and my husband were upstate for a few days. I loved that they had GF options and the food was so fresh and delicious. There's even a small balcony with a view to the Gunks, and a little raised bed of herbs that the bartender uses for drinks... so fresh lavender in your cocktail...be still my senses, only one at a time please! Service is always lovely and welcoming. If you like Bourbon, a cocktail called the "Bees Knees" is the way to go.“
“Excellent place for dinner. Was visiting town after a Bard college baseball game and decided to try the Mariners Harbor for our meal.My wife ordered creamy lobster bisque and a side Caesar salad. I ordered the pier and steer with a local Beavers bite IPA which was great.It was an incredible dinner. Server was attentive and met the right pace for checking in. Not to much not slow he nailed it. “This mom and pop thai restaurant in the busy part of new paltzs is a treasure. The tom yum soup no matter if you get chicken or shrimp seafood or veggies is absolutely spectacular its spicy and savoury and making you want more. The duck curry with mushrooms was like a I was transported to Thailand and enjoy the culture. As an appetizer the shrimp roll was like a tasty treat. And my only thing about atmosphere it needed some music or something but otherwise great place will definitely be bac.“

We got the wings, and these were your old school wings, meaty and flavorful. Definitely not the pigeon wings you get from some places. So yea, Sals place is absolutely worth the whiskey ?“

Keegan ales makes some great beer and the Mothers Milk is a favorite for years. Great neighborhood atmosphere. Outdoor seating when weather permits“

But the door into the building was not wheelchair accessible nor was the bathrooms.“
