“it was a rainy, dark evening in new york, so ramen was definitely the vibe this day. i stumbled upon marufuku ramen, and let me tell you it did not disappoint. the ramen is really great. very flavorful broth, i literally almost finished that before the actual noodles and protein. i highly recommend getting the tori paitan ramen! it’s nice to have a break from tonkotsu ramen sometimes and the rich chicken flavor is amazing. highly recommend getting a beer or cocktail for your ramen too. also the karaage was great too! come check it out!“

“Great place for ramen and sushi! The broth is very rich and creamy. Everything was flavorful and the sushi chefs were very generous with the fish.

Portion of ramen is HUGE. We went as two folks and ended up having a hard time finishing a ramen and a sushi“

I've also enjoyed all the side dishes I tried. My only complaint is the portions are small. After a ramen bowl with some side dish, often times I'd still feel a bit hungry.“

“I’ve been an instant frequent customer here cause of their curry menu. Their sukiyaki beef curry is so rich and delicious. Very comforting and warm. Sometime I add a topping of their Menchi beef. Their hand rolls are pretty solid too— I tend to get their spicy tuna or shrimp tempura hand roll. The service is quick and they’re attentive to your needs. I would recommend this to anyone.“

“Ended up here accidentally on a layover: Hands down, the best ramen I’ve ever had (springy, slurpy perfection), amazing cocktails (if you like gin the Japanese 75 is a must try!), and whatever the whipped cream, creme brûlée’d banana dessert was tasted like heaven. I even ordered another tonkotsu ramen to go (all the way to Florida) to bring back to my fiancé. They separated all of it, packaged it so it wouldn’t leak, and wrote directions on specific timing for heating up each item! Very impressive service. I’ll be back again!“

“Tanoshi Ramen is one of those places that makes you feel like you’ve stumbled upon something special — not just because of the food, but because of the people.

We first visited last year and were immediately struck by how kind and welcoming the team was. There’s a warmth to this spot that makes you want to keep coming back — and the food absolutely seals the deal.

The ramen is phenomenal. You can tell it’s homemade — rich, soulful, and made with love. My husband is obsessed with the Spicy TanTan Ramen (he’s had it more than once!), and I always go for the Spicy Tonkotsu. Both are deeply flavorful and comforting, with the TanTan especially reminding us of great Sichuan flavors.

But the real surprise star? The wings.
Quite possibly the best wings we’ve had in NYC — juicy, perfectly seasoned, flavorful without being over-the-top. They’re unforgettable in the simplest, best way. (I admit I have ordered just the wings via delivery because that’s what I was craving and they are THAT good!)

“This is an amazing restaurant with great pricing. Their miso ramen is really flavorful and the ramen was cooked perfectly with a perfect chew. The egg has a creamy yoke, and I really like how they charred the chasu to enhance the flavour. I've been to so many other restaurants that don't do this and the char just adds a nice touch. The food came out really quick too and the service was really speedy. As soon as I started eating they took away our trash and wrappers and while we were eating they topped up our water when it was half empty. The restaurant is well designed too and fits the vibe of the food they serve.“

The spicy yuzu margarita is my go to drink .Well balanced, strong, not too spicy which i liked. For food, I have really enjoyed their eel roll and salmon teriyaki. Recently tried their Omakase and it was very tasty . The sushi was so fresh, the salmon sashimi was melts in your mouth. The dragon roll was also a great addition. The portion was plentiful, felt very full by the last bite. Overall, really impressed by the quality of their sushi. I look forward to sampling the ramen on the menu since so many people have raved about it.“
