The wine selection is fabulous, the ambiance is unmatched, and for a wide variety of nights out: anything from a date night, to a girls night, family get together, or a solo night out. They do the most excellent job sharing their passion with you — educating on the wines and spreading joy. Their Macedonian wines are a staple in our home now too.
I would recommend any day of the week, especially Thursday’s wine and cheese pairing and any night with live music.
Photos included are from a private event at Fine Wine O’Clock which I would recommend for ANY occasion!!!! They make the coordination a breeze, flawlessly execute, and take your dietary restrictions very seriously.

“Today, 11.02.2021, a friend and l were in search of good breakfast food. Before dropping her off, we stopped at the Waffle House on Delhi Pike. The employees at this establishment were some of the warmest and friendliest group of people l have met since COVID. Fast service, our waiter Dante explained how we were able to mix and match the breakfast we had chosen. With the turn of our head, our meals were before us. The grits were freshly made, the toast was to a perfection with butter melted, everything about the meals were on point. The staff keep the restaurant clean. On their idle time they were cleaning the grill and washing down the floor, no one was standing around on their phones. I give the Waffle House ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️”

I went in there once to buy a cheeseburger, but first, I had to use the toilet. After paying to use the bathroom, I was broke, and left hungry. Moral of the story: Use your own bathroom before heading out to White Castle's.”

While leaving the airport I Googled restaurants close by . There were several to choose from however, we decided on Pig Candy BBQ this restaurant did not disappoint. The food was amazing ( we had the special which was the brisket sandwich) this sandwich was very tender and full of flavor. If you are just traveling through or a local or feel up to a drive this is definitely worth your time .The staff knows what customer service means . All around Great food and service. “Benson Paige is a pup who has lived in a shelter for a whole year. Today is his last day on earth since he is being humanely euthanized tomorrow. A foster took him out and spent some time at Bloc, so benson got to finally cuddle up on a couch. He finally got to eat a whole plate of eggs, a plate of bacon and experience the good life- something he never got to experience before. Stevie the lead barista was incredibly kind and compassionate over the phone with me while I tried to coordinate getting benson a special treat and helped me make sure the foster & benson were taken care of and that he got to experience love. There are no words to describe my gratitude to them and thank them for providing a place for benson to be safe and loved. ❤️❤️❤️ can not recommend them enough for their customer service”

It was nice to have the menu and specials explained to us in details and got a lot of recommendations from her, too. We ordered the crab cakes, mussels, lamb rack, their steak and crab special for the night. Everything was cooked to perfection with right seasonings and temp. We really enjoyed the special-the filet mignon was soooo tender and the crab was sweet! It was cool to have a candle lit butter and Cajun spiced lemon on the side for the crab. We were so stuffed at the end but couldn’t help but get dessert to go. The crème brûlée NY cheesecake is SUCH a treat and I’m so glad we got it. Service was 10/10, would recommend everyone to go here for nicer dinners.”

“My wife and I frequent Maplewood on the weekends for brunch. There are many options in downtown/OTR/northern Kentucky for breakfast on the weekends, but Maplewood is our favorite. The menu has a nice variety of American breakfast options, as well as healthier alternatives. We love the Guajillo Bowl and Mediterranean Bowl, but the Maplewood Hash is also delicious if you are in the mood for something a little heavier. The GM, Erik, often recognizes us and welcomes us back. Erik and his staff always do a great job with service, and mitigating the crowded weekend mornings. Bring back the Chicken Tiga!!! Note: It's first come, first serve seating and you are supposed to wait in line and order before being seated. However entitled guests sometimes circumvent the line and save tables for the rest of their party waiting at the back of the line, whom have yet to order. This often throws off the flow of available tables, because the people whom waited in line and just ordered, now do not have a table. It can get busy here on weekends, but if you go, don't be one of these people, please wait in line like everyone else. The line moves quickly and the staff turns over the tables quickly as well. The couple of times this has happened to us, the staff promptly sat us at the bar and gave us a discount on our breakfast.”

We were so stuffed at the end but couldn’t help but get dessert to go. The crème brûlée NY cheesecake is SUCH a treat and I’m so glad we got it. My wife found Meritage Restaurant online and said it sounded like what we wanted. She called to make a reservation and from the conversation on the phone we were excited to eat here! After arriving to the area, which was a hidden gem in itself, we were greeted by a very friendly hostess! We ask to sit upstairs to enjoy the live music and those guys did not disappoint with their blues/jazz music! Our waitress, she is why there should be no tax on tips! She knew her stuff and was AWESOME! The food, from the stuffed mushrooms, to our dinner, to dessert did not disappoint! EVERYTHING was perfect and it made our anniversary a very special evening! If you regularly eat habanero sauces and want more then this is probably a good heat level for you. It also has a good flavor, it’s not just hot for sake of being hot. Everyone there is super friendly also. Great atmosphere. Cool aesthetic. There is often live music on the weekends, which can be a bit loud and it definitely gets busy. Not a negative, just something to be aware of. Come during off hours if you don’t want that. I wish I could just buy a jug of the blue cheese. Maybe I can, but I haven’t asked.”

We weren't super intrigued by the menu; it was a little less extensive than I'd hope from a place like this, mostly heavier options, and maybe not a ton of things I'd order next time. For me, the mussels far exceeded my expectations. That broth was heavenly, the bread was soft and perfect for soaking up the great flavors, the mussels themselves were very abundant, and had okay freshness. My lady said her burger was mediocre. She tried both the truffle fries and duck fat fries and was disappointed by both. I've never seen her not eat fries before, so that says a lot! Service was good overall. I'd come back for those mussels any day, but not quite as excited to dig deeper into the menu. I wouldn't deter anybody from giving them a try, especially if out enjoying the park on a nice day.”

Waited for a server, who never showed, so we closed our tab of 1 drink a piece after being there for over an hour. I had a coffee drink & it was delicious. The music & the vibe were great. “While visiting thee high school that my wife's father attended, we stopped for lunch at Gilligan's on the Green, a restaurant and brewery. I was told by our waiter that Gilligan's was once the old fire station of Wyoming, a suburb of Cincinnati. We chose to sit outside on the deck. Inside the resturant, our waiter said, there were rooms that acould accommodate small groups up to 60 for a special event or party. It was a Friday and from some past remembrance of my youth of having fish on Fridays, I chose the fish and chips. My wife had the grilled chicken sandwich. I didn't get a few "fingers" of fish ... I got a hunk of fish, expertly fried with a nongreasy tempura like crust. There is a great list of pub style favorites on the menu, and a full bar.While not entirely an Irish pub it can't be ruled out:) Gilligan's has great service, ample parking and is wheelchair accessible.

“I didn’t know what to expect upon arrival because our previous experience at a different location was horrible. We had a main waiter and also asked for assistance from a secondary waiter. Both were EXCELLENT. Their customer service was top notch. They were both very polite and respectful. The name of Our main waiter is Mancini. When he was busy we asked for help from Malachi because he was so patient, kind, and helpful to another table behind us. He assisted us and was also polite and respectful. I know that I am being redundant but I believe that great service should be acknowledged. Thank You Mancini and Malachi!”
