“Ok so we’ve dined at Old Scratch Troy location about 6 times since it’s opened. Waited a bit to give them time to really get in their groove. While I do recommend the place. Pizza is good, staff is nice (especially Amanda at the bar) and shareables are tasty. That said I would like to see the food’s taste be a little more consistent. My favorite dish is the fire roasted cauliflower but sadly it hasn’t been prepared the same way twice with the last two times it was barely seasoned at all once it was almost raw. Hopefully as training continues they will fix that issue.“

“Originally from Buffalo NY, found it very difficult to find a pizza that even comes close to what I was used to. I've tried many pizzas across the Miami Valley and all I can say is that most were pretty bad, and a few ok but not much more. 2 places were halfway decent but those places went downhill. I finally tried Joe's Pizza last month and have to say, the Absolute Best in Miami Valley. It was the closest to Buffalo Style Pizza I ever had in Southwest Ohio. Told their Staff the same. I will definitely be going back there despite being a little drive from where I live. I would recommend Joe's Pizza to everyone, especially if you're looking for a quality pizza!!“

My only complaints were the lamb was overcooked, but still juicy, and the kids running all over the place (and the boy that was hitting his brother with a belt, not hard, but still annoying).“

“5 Stars is not enough. Hubby and I stopped in for our first visit and he grew up Italian ~ homemade everything. Sub was filled with meats, mozzarella sticks were perfect and the pizza was awesome. The dough is fabulous, so much taste. Husband felt like he was back home. Cannoli was so tasty. We will definitely be back. Great food, priced fairly and the owners service exceeded our expectations! “As a kid (In the 80s) this was my favorite place to eat. I lived in Northland Village (before it got wild) and my dad would order this on Fridays when we were good kids during the week. The foil under the bread was a staple that I loved and I plan to visit again over the summer and introduce my family to REAL pizza!“

Edit 02/06/2026: this experience was not as good. Amazing environment, and thee water was great. The pizza itself was not what I remembered it to be. Very dry. The sauce came straight out of a can, and I could tell. Metallic taste, maybe less toppings. Unsure what changed exactly but it's been a year.“

“I LOVE this place. My mom has been coming here since she was a kid. Every time I’m in town now we always make sure to get it to take home w us. They have a patent on their pizza so you knowww it’s good. The staff is always super sweet and the place is always clean. The way it looks is beautiful too! Super cold school.“

“I was born and raised in Italy, I was also a waitress there and served many pizzas. Troni is by far the closest to authentic Italian pizzas in the entire area. Absolutely delicious and well priced. Our family has always enjoyed it as well as the service.“

The portion sizes are good for a meal. I typically would not have left overs.

“OMG! This place was amazing, the staff was very nice and friendly. It was also clean, and quick. We got our pizza in around 10 minutes or so. And let me tell you this was one of the best pizzas we’ve ever eaten. Their chicken pizzas are amazing and so is their deluxe pizza. Can’t wait to come back to try a different pizza!“

“Small pizza place, and venue. The menu is vast, and the portions are large. Certainly a great value ratio. Beers are cold, with a great draft selection. The liquor side isn't giant, so if your particular about sports, you may not get exactly what you're looking for, but they have the basics. Servers are top notch, and let's not forget about the patio!“

“Dayton seriously lacks in the pizza department, but Mikey's could be just the thing to turn it around. The interior is super snazzy. Swings indoors!? Just don't be stupid about it! They have an appetizing display of their current slice selections, which really helps to narrow it down. Both slices I had today were delicious: flavorful, crisp, cheesy, with a lovely garnish of delectable dipping sauces. So much better than those sad square-cut pies Ohio seems to love. The bar is loaded with beer and liquor so you can accompany your bites with a bit of brew. I love pizza more than I love my kids. I'll be coming back, over and over and over.“

“Ordered from north main store for delivery to Kettering health Dayton and the driver called to see where to deliver it when I put those directions online when I order and they always take it to the wrong entrance so I said it 3 times he got very rude and hung up on me. I love the pizza very good but don’t do delivery from that location they are rude to their customers will never order from there again due to the employees not the food.“

“Sheesh, I'm a food pro and single dad. Was in a rush to grab an after school snack for my boys but was pressed for time. I used the app and car delivery option. Flawless experience! I'm watching the door for the 2 min guarantee, turn my head and one of the associates is already at my drivers side door! Super convenient! Now, back at my restaurant I'm eating a slice and I'm like damn, this is good (well made)!
