“Ok so we’ve dined at Old Scratch Troy location about 6 times since it’s opened. Waited a bit to give them time to really get in their groove. While I do recommend the place. Pizza is good, staff is nice (especially Amanda at the bar) and shareables are tasty. That said I would like to see the food’s taste be a little more consistent. My favorite dish is the fire roasted cauliflower but sadly it hasn’t been prepared the same way twice with the last two times it was barely seasoned at all once it was almost raw. Hopefully as training continues they will fix that issue.“

“Originally from Buffalo NY, found it very difficult to find a pizza that even comes close to what I was used to. I've tried many pizzas across the Miami Valley and all I can say is that most were pretty bad, and a few ok but not much more. 2 places were halfway decent but those places went downhill. I finally tried Joe's Pizza last month and have to say, the Absolute Best in Miami Valley. It was the closest to Buffalo Style Pizza I ever had in Southwest Ohio. Told their Staff the same. I will definitely be going back there despite being a little drive from where I live. I would recommend Joe's Pizza to everyone, especially if you're looking for a quality pizza!!“

“5 Stars is not enough. Hubby and I stopped in for our first visit and he grew up Italian ~ homemade everything. Sub was filled with meats, mozzarella sticks were perfect and the pizza was awesome. The dough is fabulous, so much taste. Husband felt like he was back home. Cannoli was so tasty. We will definitely be back. Great food, priced fairly and the owners service exceeded our expectations! “Besides being the best pizza in the country, this Marions has the best people. They are so friendly and kind. In case you didn't know they do accept tips they just don't publish or publicly display their tip jar. I encourage anyone and everyone to leave a tip. Their smiles alone are worth something.“

“I was born and raised in Italy, I was also a waitress there and served many pizzas. Troni is by far the closest to authentic Italian pizzas in the entire area. Absolutely delicious and well priced. Our family has always enjoyed it as well as the service.“

“Got the 8 piece Detroit style pizza, and the “jet 10”toppings. The pizza was surprisingly good for a pizza chain type pizza. Crust was thick, buttery and crispy and there was plenty of toppings. The pizza had a very satisfying crunch. I would recommend this pizza for sure if you’re looking for some good pizza on a budget.“

“Wednesday 5pm. Table for 2. I had a pizza. I was really impressed. It had a thin crispy crust which I like. Dad had spaghetti and meatballs which he said was good. Beer was cold. He felt the place was a bit noisy but I didn't notice that. Enjoy going there.“

“I love the pizza here and it’s really good and the people are nice that work there at the pizza place. My favorite movie is the godfather so when I go here it makes me think of the godfather “So you come to me on the day of my daughters wedding for the favor” from the godfather just like the pizza place. I got a pizza here the other day and then o went to Home Depot and bought some screws so I could put my license plate on my car. It was really cool because I got pizza and then Home Depot was right there so I could just walk over. They have a really good bathroom at the godfathers pizza too because it was really clean. It reminded me of the scene where Michael Corleone goes to the bathroom in the godfather. Overall I really like godfathers pizza and I love the movie the godfather.“

“Ordered from north main store for delivery to Kettering health Dayton and the driver called to see where to deliver it when I put those directions online when I order and they always take it to the wrong entrance so I said it 3 times he got very rude and hung up on me. I love the pizza very good but don’t do delivery from that location they are rude to their customers will never order from there again due to the employees not the food.“

“came here on a hunch for lunch. everyone wanted pizza and I saw the reviews for this place. we waited about 10minutes from seating ourselves for service and there was one other table in the restaurant (this was about 2pm so kinda expected). then we were told we would have to wait 30minutes for the dough to be ready. you'd think that would not equate to a good experience. areas to improve on? sure. but didn't break the deal the service was attentive and kind when she arrived. the owner came out and said hello and told us about the place. they recommended apps and to take a tour outside and welcome ourselves to the games. my family passed the time with some free connect four, giant jenga, and some waffle ball. next thing you know the apps arrived. then back to the games for a little til the pizza came. the food: PHENOMENAL. The meatballs were so tender and well seasoned with a great meat blend. the pizza was delicious. great dough, fresh ingredients, and the sauce was wonderful. the drinks: Yellow Springs brewery beer was available and delicious. my daughter had the lemonade which she was over the moon about. all this to say this will be back for certain as our regular pizza joint. if you do come across a wait, be patient. it would normally irritate me but with so much to pass the time it was nothing. the food was worth the wait. I recommend coming during off hours like we did. then you can have the patio to yourself ;)“

Delivery was quick and the food arrived still steaming hot 😍 I hadn’t ever had anything from Gioninos, other than their pizza, before tonight. “Had to drop you all some props for tonight. My wife and I are OG CV peeps from our Culver Ave days. We used to eat Patterson Vinny's on the regular until we moved to off Dixie Hwy. Finally decided to order an old favorite, thin crust Florentine, and it was awesome! Super easy to order, same fair prices, and the pizza arrived perfectly made and cooked, and it was hot and fresh (props to the delivery driver too). Had to have some bread sticks of course, and they were delicious too. We'll be ordering again. Fingers crossed Wayne can be as consistently good as Patterson. “We ordered food on 03/28/25. Let me tell you, whoever was working this needs needs their feet kissed. This by far was the best food we have ever received from this location and taste like it was made from the Gods themselves.
