“This is my favourite place! I always order P10 - Vegan Pho and the vegan crispy spring rolls. The food is always delicious. The staff are friendly. I order from Uber eats often as well and it's the same quality, lots of veggies/tofu and noodles.“

“My girlfriend and I recently visited this restaurant and had a great experience. The staff was polite and accommodating, and the service was excellent. I ordered the rare beef soup, and she initially chose the seafood soup, but later decided she wasn’t in the mood for it. The staff kindly replaced it with the same beef soup I had, which she ended up enjoying.
The shrimp roll we shared was delicious, and when it came time to pay, we were pleasantly surprised that they didn’t charge us for the returned seafood soup. I mentioned leaving a Google review, and they even offered us a complimentary juice (normally $7–9).
Overall, we enjoyed the food and service and will definitely return. Pro tip: mention a Google review, and you might score a free juice too!“

“We ordered the chicken pho and chicken rice, and both dishes were good, featuring generous portions of quality meat. While the flavours were satisfying, we’re giving 4 stars because we’ve had more flavourful broth and preparation at other places. The restaurant itself was clean and inviting, and the service was quick and friendly.
Dietary restrictions: They were able to accommodate gluten-intolerance without any issues.“

“I can’t stop thinking about the flavors at this place—they’ve truly left a mark! The dishes are vibrant, fresh, and packed with that crave-worthy flavor that sticks with you long after you leave. The prices? Fantastic, making it a go-to for dine-in or takeout.
And I’ve got to shout out the cabbage chicken slaw with fish chips—it’s hands down the best thing I’ve eaten all year! Seriously, do yourself a favor and get it. This spot nails it on all fronts, from bold flavors to great prices. I’ll be back (probably way too often)!“

“01 Jan. 2025
You know when you dream about wonderful food and sometimes it's not as good the second time around? Well, this was not the case with Que Ling. It was super delicious once again when we returned a few days later. Went back because I kept dreaming about that rich pho broth, which is life changing.
This time we showed some restraint and managed to snap a pic of #1 Vietnamese Steamed Rice Rolls with Meat before we dug in.
Ordered as well:
#9 Rare Beef & Tendon Rice Noodle Soup
#25 BBQ Meat, BBQ Pork Sausage & Spring Rolls with Vermicelli
#4 Pickled Lime on Ice
Portions are generous. All ingredients are fresh and dishes are flavourful.
Service is fast. Meal with tax and tip was under $55.
They have limited seating, so, no lingering after the meal. There is patio seating in warmer weather. They have a lot of take-out orders.
Love this place! What a great start to the new year.

26 Dec. 2024
Homemade Vietnamese food is like a warm hug on this cold Boxing Day 2024.
Went there for lunch today and the place started to fill up quickly. It is not a large place but who cares. The food is amazing!
We ordered:
#1 Vietnamese Steamed Rice Rolls with Meat
#3 Que Ling Special Rice Noodle Soup
#25 BBQ Meat, BBQ Pork Sausage & Spring Rolls with Vermicelli
#1 Vietnamese Iced Coffee with Condensed milk
And, because we are porky piggies, we saw a photo on the wall of a bao filled with pork & a boiled egg, so, we ordered it. It was bigger than our face and delicious.
Every dish - yes, every dish - was fresh as hell and delicious.
Service was friendly and fast. Shout-out to Angel who works hard to make this family business a success.
Cash only. Lunch for 2 (with enough food to feed more) was $60 with tax and tip. Bargoon!
We'll be back!“

“Pho is amazing....loved it...
The porkchop....presentation is good, price is alright but like Ossington's Pho shop, it falls short against Pho Hung's Pork Chop rice.
But all in all it's a nice place to eat.

“Great little family run neighborhood spot! Strange that some of the reviews on here are mixed as I found the sandwich (bbq pork) to be delicious and filling; definitely one of the best banh mi’s in the City and at $5.50 how can you go wrong.
We live in a world of “artisanal” $17 dollar egg salad sandwich elevation-of-the-mundane special made by some Plonker with a tattoo of a ghost pepper on their wrist - this place is the antidote to that. Check it out.“

“A more premium Viet place, lovely ambiance and decor.
Between two people, shared the tossed beef salad, golden glazed wings (has salted egg yolk, comes with garlic bread which was meh), and Vietnamese pork sausage banh mi (it's a warm sandwich, I like how the pickled veg was more finely grated vs standard). Everything was delicious!“

“Inside Bridlewood mall September 6/24 - late lunch, casual dining
- The best Beef Pho noodle soup we ever had, the broth was so tasty, plenty of tender slices of beef and the rice noodles were excellent
- very good tasting and crispy fried spring rolls
- skip the greasy and salty tasting fried tofu
- very tasty and tender grilled chicken ( well marinated in lemon grass) with steamed rice, one of the best we've had
- good and friendly service
We will definitely come back and we highly recommend this place
Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian spring rolls and tofu with vegetables“

“Cozy and nice interior inside the restaurant within Woodside square mall plaza. Dined in on Thursday afternoon for lunch and I ordered Phở Dặc Biệt Small ($15.95) and Vietnamese Iced Coffee - Cà Phê Đá ($5.99) served in a takeout cup. Wish they added more beef balls and beef tripes in my bowl. My second time dining at this restaurant and they only accept cash or debit!“

“Highly recommended. Good food good service. A Clean and cozy place.
Also, One time i ordered Bun Cha ca La Vong which was supposed to be enjoyed with mam tom that is not friendly to everyone due its smell and taste, so they sent me two different types of sauces and a note to make sure i could enjoy it anyway. Thanks
Btw, viet coffee here is authentic.“

“My dining experience at La Pho was great! The restaurant environment is comfortable and the waiters are friendly and enthusiastic. The dishes are fresh and delicious, especially their Vietnamese Pho, which has a rich soup base and rich toppings that will leave you with endless aftertaste. It is worth mentioning that their spring rolls are also very delicious, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Highly recommended to friends who like Vietnamese food! I will definitely come again!“

“Amazing food, fast service and had good vibes but it was kind of weird hearing staffs swear. The restaurant is fairly small and quiet since I visited early in the morning and staffs were chatting and swearing loudly. Probably wouldn't bring kids here, but overall really enjoyed my meal.
We got the big platter and mango salad, was too much for 2 people. Also an egg coffee. Food was good, chao tom was okay but everything else was excellent, especially good seasonings on the meat. Portion also didn't disappoint.
Dietary restrictions: They asked about any allergies which was nice“

“I live in the neighbourhood and have never tried this until today. I’m glad I did as this one will now be one of my go to places for food. We ordered their grilled pork chop and pho lang van and both were amazing. The pho had a really good broth and very much enjoyed it especially we went during winter. Generous portions too. The staff is friendly and service is great. I highly recommend this place and would definitely come back.“

“Used to order from here via UberEats during the lockdown. The pho always tasted good, a deep beef flavour, very rich. They used to have this delicious fried rice dish cooked with crab fat. I don’t see it on the menu, but if you ever see it, it’s a must-order!“

“I order regularly from this restaurant, and the food is consistently fresh, flavourful, and well prepared.
Only one time was the order unsatisfactory, and when I emailed the owner about the problem, he immediately got back to me and refunded the appropriate amount.
This is an impressive small business in the neighbourhood that knows how to treat its clientele. I am a loyal customer and will continue recommending this place to all my friends and guests who stay with me. Thank you to all the employees of Vit Beo, for all your hard work and excellent client care!“

“I made a random stop here for Pho. This place turned out to be a hidden Gem! Super calm, super clean small place with decent food that matches the price very well. The Gentleman which I believe was the owner/manager, kept sweeping the floor, kept asking everyone is all is good. He noticed the limes for the Pho were small, so he gave us two more slices. The food also came with crispy rice cakes on the side which definitely added value. I never tried a Pho place that offers a basket of rice cakes! After we paid cash for the payment the Gentleman offered us complimentary free drinks or pumpkin pies. Definitely recommend??“

“This place offers good food at a very good price. The pho broth is pretty flavourful. I dont believe the taste is very authentic but it really does the job. I got their BBH, decent amount of noodles and toppings. Good amount of meat. The broth is deep in flavour, not as spicy as I wanted it to be.
Parking: Large amount of spots.“

“Follow @bredgyeats for more food pics!
A small shop with a wide variety of Vietnamese eats, that take me back to my time in Vietnam. From giant steamed baos stuffed with Chinese sausage, egg and pork, to a mung bean and mochi sticky rice, to tapioca dumplings, to pork dumplings, to pretty much everything else I can crave, they seem to have it despite the small location.“

“Some of the best Pho in the city! So happy the pandemic didn’t impact their recipe. Perfect dark brown, clear and fragrant broth containing tender rare beef, noodles and I add veggies. This was what I’d been craving during lockdown. As usual Viet Thai Kitchen didn’t disappoint! 10/10 recommended!“

“We decided to try Vietnamese food so Ca Phe Rangs was close to our condo.
We ordered by prawn rolls, brisket Pho and soy braised beef banh. The rolls were fresh and came with delicious peanut sauce. The banh was excellent. The meat was flavorful and soft. It was heaped with fresh, crunchy cilantro (dhaniya). The pho however, was very average. The broth did not have the intense flavor that I have had in other Vietnamese restaurants. The beef was soft and fatty which I liked.
Overall, it was a good meal. The waitress was attentive and also checked up on us.
Meal cost us $ 68.“

“Excellent food! This place is a Toronto fixture, almost legendary. Phad Thai, pho, spring rolls, fresh everything made to order. The interior is a journey back in time but classic in its own. Old school numbered menu ordering system, so classic. The traditional picture menu, it's all here in its glory. Great service! Fantastic food to dine in or take out. Lots of room for group or family dining(for best experience with large group, just let them know in advance). Lots of dishes to explore so you can go back again and again. Set your clock back 10 years because the prices are from a long gone era, very wallet friendly. Clean and organized and you will not wait long. A must try for any person living in or passing by the neighborhood. You'll love it and come back again. The menu caters to all diets.“

“Hands down the best BUN BO HUE in the city. The combination of spices and spiciness in the soup base really hit the spot. I substituted the beef shank and pork bone for lean rare beef. Been coming here for decades and will continue to come back for this soup, which is only served on weekends. Service was quick and easy.“

“Good restaurant 👍 and I really recommend. Very good service and the staff was very friendly. The food was good as well, I had the C3 meal; pork, chicken, rice and a little bit of salad on the side.
It’s very cheap too.

Since moving to Windsor Essex Area, I stop at this place ever time we go North through Toronto. The prices are always fair, and the family run atmosphere is a welcoming touch. You guys rock, I hope you guys stay around for decades to come.“

“Kim Po is truly a hidden gem. The shrimp crackers paired with grilled pork are absolutely delicious, offering a delightful crunch and savory flavor. The special beef noodle soup features a broth that is both aromatic and rich, striking the good balance without being overly salty or oily. The fresh noodles have a wonderful chewy texture that elevates the dish. Don't miss out on the Vietnamese coffee; it's a one of the few authentic ones out there.
The inside decor is old-fashioned yet charming, creating a homely and warm atmosphere. Unlike newer establishments focused only on Instagram aesthetics, Kim Po prioritizes good service and good-quality food, which is appreciated. The restaurant accommodates about 20 to 30 guests and do not take reservations.
There’s a small free parking lot behind the restaurant, though finding a spot on weekends can be a bit challenging. Overall, Kim Po is a fantastic spot for a cozy, satisfying meal!
Parking: Small free parking lot at the back.
Wheelchair accessibility: Not quite.“

“A nice Vietnamese place in Pape Village and a nice change within the many dominant Greek restaurants in the area.
The interior is nice and the place is always kept clean. The times I've been here, the food is always good. Pho is definitely worth it here.
Critiques I have of this place could be that music could be played or something, or even a radio channel. The place is kept dead silent, so the atmosphere could be very awkward if no one's talking. Or you could very much be able to eavesdrop on another table's conversation. On the off chance, the staff could be playing some Vietnamese news in the background, but that's pretty much it.
Staff could also try to be more on the friendlier side. They aren't rude, more so cold and straightforward.
Despite everything, I'd still come back here just for the food.“
