“Went here for the first time and got the Maple Leaf Burger, Blue Jays Burger, classic poutine, regular poutine, and Twister fries. I can’t explain how delicious the food was — everything was amazing.
The service from both the owner and the servers was excellent as well. They came by to check on us and made sure everything was good throughout our visit.
Will definitely be coming back and spreading the word to family and friends.

We ordered The Works and we substituted the regular cheese to the questo one. There was also a spinning contest and we won 2 for 1 fries for our next visit. Amazing customer service, quick service and great quality as well! Will definitely visit here again!”

Screw you, city of Markham parking scammers! Update: I have disputed the ticket and the fine was reduce. However, that is an insufficient response since the ticket was frivolous. I have requested a hearing. This sort of trouble is not worth going to Markham ever again.”

“This is a fantastic location!

I had the pleasure of visiting there this morning during the peak of the morning rush around 8:15 AM….. The drive-through must have had at least 15 cars and the staff inside were serving many customers

I submitted my order thinking I would pick it up through the drive-through, but after seeing so many cars I made a dash inside and had the pleasure of speaking with the manager that was running an incredible operation

He was kind enough to change my order to pick up and fulfilled the order within several minutes

I stood there in amazement for several minutes watching the 12 or so staff members working in unison to prepare and fill orders faster than I have ever seen at a McDonald’s location

And the best part is, they were doing it while being present with every customer and truly calm under pressure and working well together as a team

As I was leaving the restaurant after less than five minutes, the entire drive-through line had being served - amazing!

“Order accuracy good. Hot food on pickup. Good offers. The only issue is the mobile app insists that I am not close to the pickup location when I am within 100m. Very annoying when I cannot place my order sometimes, due to distance. Please fix.”

“We visited Desi Bar & Grill yesterday on 14 Dec 2024. The experience was worth mentioning as the Desi Bar & Grill's Interior was quite impressive, with the relaxed feeling of an entertaining restaurant with the food, bar service, and server courtesy. It deserves a stars (*****) rating except for one suggestion. It is nice to hear the ever-green Indian Songs except for the loudness associated with the noise this created necessitating keeping it low will be dignified and relaxing for distinguished visitors to engage in audible mutual conversation rather than put restraint and blockage by loud music. Running of soft Indian 'Gazals' will add to the environment apart from Punjabi/Hindi songs.”

“I was there last night to celebrate a special birthday for my friend. Service was great and overall a good experience. I was,however, disappointed that they didn’t seem to be aware that it was her birthday even tho I made a point of telling them that when I made the reservation. She is not a dessert eater but I still thought it would have made it more special if they had surprised her with a bd cake of some sort (I know this is done as have had it done for myself). I tried to hint to the waiters a couple of times that it was a birthday and was not acknowledged until the end when they said they weren’t aware it was her bd and could they bring her a dessert. I knew she would decline but would have been more meaningful if they were aware of the reservation details. Overall the meal was good. Caesar salad was excellent but much too large for 2 people - would serve 3-4 people who were having main course. I ordered beef tenderloin that was described as blue cheese crusted with a fig sauce - there was 2 large dollops of blue cheese on top of steak which is not “crusted” in my opinion and fig sauce was too sweet for my taste (perhaps my fault that I didn’t realize how sweet figs were). I enjoyed the plain leftover steak today much more than original meal. She had prime rib, ladies cut which was huge and said it was delicious as well as the escargot starter which she also enjoyed.”

“I went there to try the AYCE hot pot on an early Friday dinner (5:30), and I've got seated right away! The AYCE menu was quite extensive and all the food came out really fresh! There are lots of choices for sauces, also have extensive dessert menu including the Thai mango sticky rice, which all taste good! The servers took the time and effort in explaining how the AYCE work! Very helpful and friendly! Will come back to try the a la carte menu next time! Like the whole dinner experience!”

My very first memory of visiting this location goes back to when the Canadian government temporarily removed the HST to encourage people to support local businesses. Because of that special tax break, enjoying a meal here was way cheaper at the time. It is honestly too bad those ultra-affordable days are gone now that regular pricing has returned. However, even with the higher costs today, the incredible quality of the food makes it entirely worth returning to.”

“We had lunch here yesterday, and all of the special rolls we ordered were great. The 'Tenon Special' was our favourite, but you can't really go wrong if you stick to the special rolls on the menu. We've rarely had good vegetarian sushi at restaurants, so we were very happy to find so many great and interesting options here. Highly recommend.”

It's located right on beautiful main Street Markham and I think it's in the old building and you can go upstairs and there's a guitar and piano and a washroom and a lot of cute things to look at. They're made with flour tortillas and have french fries in them, topped with your choice of protein, cabbage, fried onions, pickled onions and sauces. My personal favourites are the fish and beef. Gus and his family have roots planted back to the original John Anderson burger location aprox 47 years in Pleasantview. It's not a coincidence they have been in business for so long.”

The Hong Kong milk tea is worth to try! They serve the food really quick, not even 10 minutes waiting! You can also see them making their food fresh! One of my best wonton soup!”

“They told me “2-3 minutes” wait for honey chipotle chicken. I waited 24 minutes watching my rice bowl sit there during my valuable work lunch time. Then they give me less than a full scoop to save the amount for others. Last time I come here.

“Been coming here ever since I found out about True Boss and its healthy and delicious vinegar enzyme drinks. I was into learning more about gut health during that time, and I realized I really dislike drinking apple cider vinegar (on its own) from those health food retail stores.

True boss has at least 4 different types of fruit vinegar enzymes on the menu (apple, cranberry, peach, plum) and I absolutely fell in love with the Sparkling Plum Vinegar Infusion drink with added aloe dices. (If you are adventurous, go for 30% to no sugar!) There are also tea versions; you can pair it with sparkling, yakult or tea on its own.

From all the overeating, my stomach (bloating) feels better after drinking True Boss. It is definitely a healthier alternative as compared to regular bubble tea. My gut thanks me :3”

“Probably one of my favorite shawarma places right now. The food is always fresh, and the meat is really well seasoned.

I have a pretty sensitive stomach when it comes to eating out, but Lava Grill has always been very easy and comforting for me to eat. I usually get the chef sauce, lava sauce, and garlic sauce together. That combination makes the shawarma so good.

What also stands out to me is the staff. I’ve been to a lot of other shawarma places where everything feels rushed and they barely have the patience to take your order. Here, the staff actually took the time to explain the different sauces and patiently asked what vegetables I wanted.

Good food, friendly service, and a much more welcoming experience than most shawarma places I’ve tried. Definitely recommend Lava Grill.”

Not a lot of staff while I was there. The manager/supervisor was professional. I ordered a med/large order last minute. It was closing yet he gave me a heads up of the situation and I was cool with waiting for chicken to be restocked that they didn’t have enough and last minute too!

place is clean, have some customers/families eating there at some tables. Some customers came in after me like 15 minutes before closing. The Manager still served them. The hardworking man still served them happily. He went above and beyond with me and the guests after.

I took the food home. Tastes so delicious.

i go to the Markville mall one a lot. But late nights I will come to this one…….even if earlier on in the day.

I honestly prefer KFC over popeyes & definately over churches. My personal preference. The thing the draws me back to them is the spices on the og chicken. Even sometimes salty, I just love it”
