The experience was worth mentioning as the Desi Bar & Grill's Interior was quite impressive, with the relaxed feeling of an entertaining restaurant with the food, bar service, and server courtesy. It deserves a stars (*****) rating except for one suggestion. It is nice to hear the ever-green Indian Songs except for the loudness associated with the noise this created necessitating keeping it low will be dignified and relaxing for distinguished visitors to engage in audible mutual conversation rather than put restraint and blockage by loud music. Running of soft Indian 'Gazals' will add to the environment apart from Punjabi/Hindi songs.”

I ordered a matcha, and while they didn’t have their regular blend, I opted for the higher-grade version (+$1) with lactose-free milk (+$0.90). It ended up costing $10.84 in total, which is a bit on the pricier side, but the drink itself was smooth, refreshing, and really well made. Overall, a great experience but just be prepared to pay a little extra for upgrades.”

“i’m not a big fan of Thai food, but this restaurant caugh me and I will keep going back. The service is excellent and even though there was a slightly longer wait time, that’s essentially telling of how good the food is, that people are willing to wait…but then it’s also a small restaurant. The staff are friendly and attentive.
Now, let’s talk about the FOOD! The food is the highlight of my entire week. Everything was flavorful and done just right. I had zero complaints or disappointments of any kind, where the food was concerned. The cocktails are very pretty to look at, but the alcohol to me was not strong enough for the cocktail… But I guess this is just because of personal preference.
The PRICE was less than I thought it would be. My main course, one cocktail and appetizer came to $69 before tip.
The restaurant is very loud. My friends and I were shouting at each other throughout the meal because everybody’s shouting nearby so it’s hard to hear. The decor and atmosphere in the restaurant are not appealing to the aesthetic senses, but the restaurant is clean. I would recommend this for dinner with friends or family on our regular evenings out, but not for special occasions or dating.
I will definitely be going back to this restaurant.”

“Finally a very good vegetarian Chinese food restaurant in Markham. Unlike most Chinese restaurants which offer a couple of vegetarian options , this restaurant only offers vegetarian food. “I’ve been coming to this Tim Hortons almost every day for over a month now, as my husband has been in the hospital. Being here for so long, you start to notice things—good and bad—and I felt it was time I finally left a review.

First, I want to talk about the young lady who seems to be either a manager or supervisor. She’s tall and always moving around, helping in every corner of the store—taking orders, running food, checking on the staff, even wiping tables when no one else is looking. She carries herself with a quiet grace and patience that truly touched my heart.

One day, when I was feeling overwhelmed and tired, she smiled gently at me and took the time to explain my order clearly when I was a bit confused. She didn’t rush me, and I could feel genuine kindness from her—something you don’t always get in busy places like this. I never got the chance to thank her properly, but if she’s reading this: thank you for your warmth, especially during a hard time in my life.

However, not everything is perfect in this store. On more than one occasion, I’ve noticed some staff members being outright disrespectful to this kind young woman. One time, I was standing nearby when I heard a staff member raise their voice at her in a very unpleasant way. I could see she was trying hard not to break down. She just quietly said, “I don’t want to talk about it right now,” and walked away to help another customer like nothing happened. I honestly don’t know how she does it—with a smile still on her face. That’s real strength and professionalism.

It breaks my heart a little to see someone who is doing their very best, under so much pressure, not always get the respect they deserve—from both coworkers and customers. It’s sad to say, but some guests are not always polite either. Yet, this young lady treats everyone the same—with kindness and patience.

I’ve been around long enough to know when someone’s heart is in the right place, and hers surely is. Tim Hortons, if you’re reading this, please recognize the gem you have in her. She is the reason I’ve kept coming back here during one of the hardest times of my life. And while there are things that can be improved—mainly staff attitude and teamwork—I truly hope she gets the support she deserves.

This cafe can get busy and for a good reason.

The barista was so friendly and when we mentioned we may grab snacks, she brought us some of her own to share. So sweet and thoughtful.

The drinks were original and tasted great as well. So thankful that oat milk is available as well for anyone that has dairy allergies.”

Don't have photos of everything I ate, but I recommend the wagyu tataki, any of the nigiri (incredibly fresh so no fishy smell), the maki rolls and of course, the waygu sukiyaki!

The experience was worth mentioning as the Desi Bar & Grill's Interior was quite impressive, with the relaxed feeling of an entertaining restaurant with the food, bar service, and server courtesy. It deserves a stars (*****) rating except for one suggestion. It is nice to hear the ever-green Indian Songs except for the loudness associated with the noise this created necessitating keeping it low will be dignified and relaxing for distinguished visitors to engage in audible mutual conversation rather than put restraint and blockage by loud music. Running of soft Indian 'Gazals' will add to the environment apart from Punjabi/Hindi songs.”

“Pretty much what you’d expect from a fried chicken fast food place. Service was quick and efficient, and the food came out hot and freshly made. The restaurant itself was clean and well looked after.

Tip : if you’re ordering ahead for pickup (e.g. Uber Eats), note that they don’t start making your order until you arrive. It means you’ll wait around 5–10 minutes once you get there, but at least the food comes out fresh and hot.

Overall, a good choice that delivers exactly what you’d expect - quick service, fresh food, and decent value.”

Understand it's catering to the western palette, but a little less and I think people would still appreciate the authenticity of the dish. Definitely going to be one of our go to's.”

I love how unique the menu is compared to other sushi buffets I’ve had (i.e. tuna tartare, duck confit, foie gras).

The sushi and sashimi tasted fresh and there was a wide variety.

There were also many desserts to choose from. I recommend the mango pomelo sago.”

Somehow the staff got my order mixed up and they remade another one. And when it came to payment it was 47$, I gave 60$ (for tip and the other bowl they made wrong) but they said it was too much and only took what they thought fair ❤️ I really appreciate their honesty & superb customer service.
Small restaurant but stands tall among other big ones.

The vibe of this restaurant is cozy and there is a self served section. Their fish bowl is cooked to just right. I personally liked their fried items. I can tell the oil is fresh. You can taste it in the food.

“The best dumplings I have ever had in Toronto for ten years! I was so impressed by the flavour and chewy thin wrap! It is not salty like other restaurants. The stuffing seems pretty good without artificial ingredients like MSG etc! I was very very happy with it! The size is big too! Please keep as it is. Don’t change anything or lower the quality, shrink the size like other restaurants!!! Definitely will go back again and again!”
